We sent all our materials over and expected it to be smooth sailing. Just two days before taxes are due, we both receive an email from Aleem stating that after weeks of thought he doesn't feel comfortable doing our taxes and completely abandons both of our taxes leaving us to file for an extension. We had already discussed the issue of conflict of interest at length, so if there was a question of ethics, this is when it should have come up and we would have understood and worked with someone else. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional behavior and I would never recommend working with Aleem or Farid Kanji and associates.
