I have a 9' 6" x 11' 6" hand tufted wool rug which is a classical oriental-style replica. I bought it used 5 years ago. It has been in a high traffic area and been through several dogs, some better trained than others. Needless to say, it was incredibly dirty, and had a bad odor. Elias gave me a quote via email, then we spoke on the phone. He was polite, professional, and on time to pick it up. I had a specific turn around time need because I was moving. The rug was not only returned on time, it was deodorized (extra, if your rug smells before it is cleaned, pay the extra for it, all the places charge the same for it - so worth it). It looks AMAZING, and is so soft it looks and feels like new front and back. I recommend you give them a try. I have two more large hand tied wool true oriental rugs, and I will be transporting them to Winter Park Rug Gallery for cleaning in the near future (I moved to another county, out of their pick up/delivery area). read more

What an outstanding experience purchasing a BEAUTIFUL rug at a very fair price at the Winter Park Rug Gallery! Sia, the store owner, is a master of his craft - he grew up in the industry, had funny and really interesting stories to share about his brushes with celebrities and was a genuinely nice guy. I went to his store based on all the positive Google and Yelp reviews and couldn't be happier that I did. Believe the reviews, fantastic selection and fair prices from a really good guy. I will be back! Highly recommend! read more

He has a great selection I'm his store and he will look elsewhere to find the perfect rug for your home. His price point is very fair. The next time I am in the market for another beautiful rug I will go to him first. I highly recommend him! Susan Fagan English Design Firm read more

Sia, the owner, is such a great guy with a big heart. I approached him asking to rent out a couple rugs for a music video set I was making. He offered them up at no cost in efforts to help me. It was incredibly generous. I did end up falling in love with one of the rugs so I decided to buy it once all was said n' done :) Will absolutely be back here again. read more

The owner Sia is extremely knowledgeable about handmade rugs. He had a fantastic collection of rugs and vintage pieces. Unlike other rug shops I have been to, the owner was friendly and willing to answer all of my question all about my own rugs. I would highly recommend visiting this shop if you are interested in speaking with an expert in the field or viewing/purchasing a beautiful handmade rug. read more

Walked in knowing very little about my rug. Sia spent the time educating me on the various aspect of Persian rugs and what to look for. I've never gotten that level of attention from a business owner. Sia is easy to talk to and I recommended going to have a look at his collection if you have any interest in acquiring a handmade rug! read more

Winter Park Rug Gallery is the best! Wonderful selection of quality rugs and their service is exceptional. I had four rugs cleaned, some of them antiques. They came out beautifully and look new again. The price was reasonable and they only had my rugs for a week which is very fast service. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

We went for an appraisal of my grandmother's Sarouk that had been ruined in storage for potential insurance reimbursement. As other's have mentioned, Sia is very knowledgeable, open, and frank about rugs -- noting that this type of Sarouk, while old, is not particularly valuable since they were very popular in the 1920's, it had a lot of wear, had been motheaten, and that, most importantly, in his experience movers/storage and insurance companies will not pay off for moth damage. So he advised us not to waste our money on what would have been a $400 professional appraisal, and take whatever they might give us. I can well imagine a less scrupulous rug gallery giving me inflated hopes and wringing the appraisal fee out of us. So for no cost we had a fun and informative visit -- Thanks, Sia! read more

Sia repaired my rug and did a beautiful job. His knowledge of Persian rugs is vast and I would go to him first when I need another rug. I highly recommend his shop. read more

Friendly & knowledgeable guy who sells rugs! He knows about cleaning & restoring as well, & he's who you should call if you wish to buy a rug, repair a rug, or clean one. Definitely the spot for all rug questions. Other than rugs (yes, oriental too), he also sells furniture, lamps, & framed art, etc. This rug store has a connecting door to an antique business. read more

Another great neighbor we have a relationship with! Sia, the owner, is pleasant and wonderful to chat with, and knows a great deal about fine art and rugs. Clients that sell to Orlando Estate Buyer know we will take care of them concerning their coins, silver, gold, and diamonds. Every now and then clients also have paintings they are looking to sell. We don't take paintings, but we are happy to send them to Winter Park Rug Gallery! There is a plethora of beautiful items in there, and just as much knowledge to back it. read more

Just bought 2 beautiful rugs from Winter Park Rug Gallery. They look gorgeous in my home and I am so happy I found this place! Sia was extremely knowledgeable and even delivered the rugs and laid them for me. I highly recommend his expertise if you are looking for high quality, timeless pieces. He will be my go-to guy when I need additional pieces and to keep the ones I have in tip-top shape! Thank you Sia and Winter Park Rug Gallery! read more

Met Sia recently when I was desperately trying to find out a fair market value for Persian rugs owned previously by my family. He was so friendly and incredibly helpful in identifying the exact origins of the rugs and what specific decade they were made as well as other professional verbiage specific to each of the five rugs I showed him detailed photos of. We chatted for some time as I was overwhelmed by his openness to helping me so we started talking about other things related to the rug business and what's happened overall to the value of many of these oriental rugs. I felt him to be a very honest, kind man. I decided to keep one of the rugs and brought it in to him for cleaning and he did a fantastic job. Thanks Sia! He's also very knowledgeable about other antiques and has a store filled with beautiful objects. If he doesn't know the piece's value you're bringing into him, he'll research until he finds some idea. I think he would be a great person to work with whether you're in the market to buy or sell something of value . read more

Auction buyer beware! I purchased and won an item through their online auction. I have done this multiple times before with auction houses across the country, and check on their requirements ahead of time. I was so excited when one of my bids won. I also received a follow up email confirming my win. Days later, the auction house sends me an email canceling my win due to not reaching the reserve (there was no mention of a reserve in the description or requirements). Then, when I emailed them back about it they were rude & told me it was partially bc I didn't register to bid. Again, I verified all of this prior to the auction. No registration was required, there was no mention of a reserve, (they also had a buyer's premium listed as 0%, which I knew was wrong & confirmed), and I won and received a winning email only to have them say I was canceled! If I had buyer's remorse do you think I could have said nevermind? Absolutely not! Do not purchase from them online! read more
