I was greeted by a very nice gentleman called Juan. He listened to my needs and wants.... and budget!!! He then steered me in the direction of three different mattresses for me to start my search. I am Interior Designer so I knew what I was coming in for. But decided to try all the mattresses since I was there. The original one I wanted, I could not find on the floor to test, so I decided to try a completely new company called Stearns and Foster. This is a very high-end mattress firm and I had not considered them, thinking they would be too expensive. I ended up buying the Stearns and Foster Cassatt pillow top. I was in heaven. What an incredible mattress.!!! Unfortunately, I have a bad back and hip problems, so after a couple of months, my body was hurting. Alas, the mattress was too soft for my body and my needs. I looked at the return policy and realized I could still return the mattress and pick out another one that would support my body in the way it needs to be supported. I called mattress firm and they told me to come in and they would take care of me right away. I went in, I was greeted by Juan again with a great big smile. We went over to the desk in less than half an hour he had processed the return of the Stearns and foster mattress and processed the sale for the Beautyrest beyond , that decided to buy in the end. I happened to luck out .....there was the exact mattress I wanted, coming in the very next day! I got a call and before I knew it I had a new mattress being brought over to my home and the Stearns and Foster one would be taken away. That is what you call customer service!! If you are in need of a good mattress, don't mess around ordering roll up ones on the Internet, just go and get a great deal with Juan!

So, during their most recent visit, they told me that they were buying me a new mattress and weren't taking excuses. Since they had such a positive experience at Mattress Firm in their town (Melbourne), they took me to the Mattress Firm closest to me (Winter Park) and we were very glad with this decision. First of all, I have to give a shout out to our sales representative, Rafael! He wasn't pushy and encouraged us to take our time while showing us a variety of mattresses and explaining the differences between them. Rafael was also very patient (I'm pretty indecisive) and alerted us to all the sales and discounts that they were offering at that time. Therefore, we got an EXCELLENT deal on the queen-sized Beauty Rest mattress I decided on (which is awesome and enhanced my ability to sleep!). I also need to give a shout out to the Mattress Firm delivery staff (sorry guys, O can't remember your names!). They were friendly, clean and very careful with taking out my old mattress and setting up my new one. They even wore disposable booties to cover their shoes so as to not dirty my floor - very much appreciated! The next time I need a mattress (I'll try not to wait another 20 years!), I'm definitely making a return visit to this Mattress Firm!

For some reason the mattress world seems to be ruled by shady salesman, biased websites, and a lack of clear And helpful information. I quickly found myself overwhelmed and decided to stop on over to my local mates store just to test some or and get a feel on my own. I've had plenty of bad shopping experiences, especially when it comes to salespersons. They almost always are so set on making a sale they don't actually offer any support and help you actually need. Entering the store I was greeted by Tucker, who immediately was so friendly and welcoming. He put me at ease immediately and I felt comfortable right away. He was actually there to help me and take the time to stress my needs. He was very patient and have me an incredible amount of attention and time. What was one a terrible and overwhelming experiment turned into a fun and released one. Tucker really knew his stuff and guided me until we narrowed down to my perfect mattress. At no point did I ever feel pressured or like Bree was just trying to make a sale. That is truly appreciated and wonderful. It was clear he just genuinely wanted to help me and I walked away feeling like I got a good deal and not taken advantage of like I usually do. Tucker. I can't thank you enough for all the help and great experience! You set the bar, and are a model of what sales people should be! The young gentleman was very polite with me I explained what was going on he let me try different beds and I told him that I needed a full size bed he then explained that he didn't have any full size bed there but they had a place that he can order from and they had one left and he was giving me a really great deal so I was excited he made sure that I like the bed and then after I told him that I wanted to purchase I would begin to sign all this information on a tablet and of course I was given a quite a big credit line through synchrony Bank so we signed and he explained to me he was giving me a free warranty, he was giving me a free mattress cover, and very nice and promising he said that it was a very good choice and I'd be happy they was giving me a big discount when it was all said and done they did deliver my bed a few days later set it up real nice people and I slept on that bed for about a week and I began noticing that where I laid like sinked downso I started sleeping on different parts of the bed to see if it still did the same thing and it did it left a big indentation that didn't come up so I called the customer service line and it instructed me to go on a website which kept crashing and it said if you want faster service we suggest you go on the website so I kept going on the website and it kept crashing so I finally stayed on hold for a very long time only to get someone to tell me that did you go to the mattress place you bought it from I said no I was instructed to call y'all to put in a claim and so after telling them that several times and going over it they were not listening to me so they finally took the info on the phone and told me someone would get with touch with me within 24 to 48 hours it is now the fourth day and I have not heard anything from anyone so I went up to Mattress firm like they asked me and spoke with a gentleman named Alex and he was not at all listening to what I had to say. He said I was not there and I cannot speak for anyone I said I understand but the guy told me that he was going to go to another location to work and he wasn't there and he kept telling me that he was not in the middle of the conversation and he couldn't verify what it was I understand I said but this is what he told me they told me to take pictures when I began taking pictures to send in I noticed that there was a big yellow tag and it said used I spent $3,300 on this bed. And when I told him it said used he said did he not tell you that it was a used bed it was aan outlet that he ordered the bed from. He began telling me that anyone knows that an outlet is called clearance items used floor models so you have no warranty and I said really I said he told me I had a warranty there's a warranty on my paperwork I said I want to talk to him he told me he still works there into locations and he said I will talk to my manager leave your phone number and your number on the bed which is your reference number to your claim and I will talk to the manager and then we'll talk with the guy that you talk to it but I want to let you know now just because I told you that it's not mean that you are going to be it's going to be in your best favor. The absolute worst experience from start to finish…read more Salesman Bryan sold me $1800+ of merchandise including a mattress that was out of stock. He told me he would update me with status in a week if not sooner. Never received any status on item. Had to call multiple times to finally learn that the mattress was not ordered because apparently the delivery truck brings a random assortment of items and not what a customer ordered? Crazy that I paid up front for an item that wasn't prioritized. I am also convinced that had i not called and showed up in person that I never would have received any status. I finally canceled the mattress and requested delivery and setup of the furniture items. Again, Bryan was supposed to call to schedule, never heard from him. Had to go in store and speak with manager, Anna to schedule the service. So unprofessional all around. Again, I paid for everything up front and couldn't even receive the courtesy and convenience of a phone call to schedule delivery/setup. Fast forward to delivery-another nightmarish ordeal. The two delivery personnel were rude, immature, and unfriendly. They claimed that they didn't perform setup and could only delivery despite Anna telling me that my items would absolutely be setup. What kind of furniture store wouldn't offer setup? After calling the store, it was finally determined that the delivery men would set up the items. Again, their attitude was appalling. They were clearly angry that they had to perform an additional 30 minutes of work. And the best part? Of course as soon as the items were unboxed, it was discovered that the incorrect hardware was in the box. I suppose the plan was for me to discover this on my own and be unable to setup the items. After receiving instruction from the store manager Anna, the delivery crew came back with correct hardware and setup. It was nearing 9:00pm when they finally finished. It was laughable when finally setup. The dresser I paid over $600 for was ripped up, scratched and just horrifically banged up. Looked used honestly. The bed posts weren't correctly setup. I of course called the store next day to return the item and ask for a refund. Anna was agreeable, but not apologetic and never once offered an apology. My only ask was that different delivery drivers pick up the item as I didn't want the original two back in my house. I was promised a manager would collect the item. But of course the same ineffective crew turned up much to my discomfort. I will never work with this store again or any American Freight. The manner is which I was treated is deplorable and quite frankly the store should be ashamed and embarrassed if this is the highest level of service they can provide. Do yourself a big favor-avoid this chain and service your furniture needs anywhere else. I've had great experiences with Kane's, Rooms to Go, and Cort, etc... We came into the shop knowing that we wanted the Luxe Breeze mattress and needed guidance on the power base. The associate that greeted us kept showing us mattresses that didn't have the Breeze technology, but after a lot of unnecessary wasted time we got to the Luxe Breeze. Keep in mind that the OOLER will definitely get colder, but if you have back pain, the manipulations the Tempur-Pedic's base system offers is the way to go. The Tempur-Pedic system consists of two parts: the mattress and the power base. Our associate ordered a split King Power Base, but not a Split King Mattress set. When we inquired if we should do a dual mattress, they brushed off our inquiry and explained that if we don't like the single mattress we can always get our money back and go for the dual. Let me remind you, we came in for a holiday special they were running. It appeared that the associate was struggling with the computer system and the deal we had found online, and didn't want to redo the entire order. The entire process was confusing and not worth the little we saved. Our unit was on back order, so we had to wait a month. When the installers came, one side of our bed didn't light up. They said they would order a brand new light kit and bring the new system, but this never happened. We do wish we would've pushed for the associate to put I the order a different way to get the dual mattress as well. My husband and I have different injuries and often have to settle for one person receiving relief over the other. The product stands though! Prior to getting the bed, I was averaging 3 hours of sleep. Now I'm up to 6, and I can attribute this to our mattress. Overall, you would think there would be better service and quality control when ordering a $10,000 bed. But the product is good, and we are happy with it.

Additionally, the email we received listed the cost of labor and parts as $89. However, during a follow-up phone call, we were told that labor was not included and that there would be an additional $135 charge for a technician visit. Given the significant investment we made and my long-standing relationship with your brand, I am very disappointed in how this situation has been handled. I expected better support and clearer communication from a company of Tempur-Pedic's reputation.

I had someone from Saatva do an inspection on my mattress today and they confirmed that the mattress we bought isn't authentic. I contacted Johnny to let him know that what he sold us was fake. He then apologized and said he would do an exchange for us for another mattress because he can't process any refunds, only exchanges. It was weird to me that he couldn't refund me even after I found out what he sold was fake. He then asked me to drive 45 minutes to his storage to check out mattresses that I can exchange for at no cost difference. I am 9 months pregnant and went to his store with my kid and when we got there , we tried other mattresses, we felt like we had no other choice but to select another mattress. So when we selected another mattress, he then asked us to pay $300 more. He never mentioned once before we drove there that he'd charge us more. He only said come try the mattress and we'll deliver it the same day. I left crying because I faced such a complicated drive during the last 2 weeks of my pregnancy to fix this issue but he was a total scam and a very greedy person. I have sent his company's information to business bureau now to help me get this issue resolved. I don't want any other customer to face this issue like I did therefore posted a review for a full warning. A mattress is something you sleep on for years and decades.
