The Half Marathon started and finished at the southeast corner of Lake Eola Park in Downtown Orlando on a USATF Certified Course that took runners through parts of downtown Orlando. Course nutrition included Gatorade, GU Energy Gels, Clif Shots, & water. The course had 9 aid station opportunities with 2 port-a-potties per station. The Half Marathon started at 7:25am, the 10k started at 7:05am, and the 5k starred at 9:00am which gives runners the option to do both the 10k and 5k runs in the same day as part of a challenge which gets you 3 medals. The 2020 marathon medal featured a ferris wheel, the 5k medal featured a Rollercoaster, the 10k medal featured a movable swann, and the 5k + 10k challenge medal featured a fountain, rainbow, swann, and Rollercoaster. After the race we were able to indulge in unlimited titos vodka, unlimited low cal Michelob ultra beer, fresh bananas, snickers, milky way, crunch, butterfingers, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, chocolate granola bars, potato chips, brownies, bolay chicken rice bowls, bolay salad, panda express chicken rice bowl. There was also 2 different areas for photo opportunities. I look forward to attending the next best damn race when it comes back to Orlando and look forward to the 5K Leftover race in Safety Harbor August 1st! I highly recommend you sign up way in advance for the Best Damn Race because it gets more and more expensive as more people sign up, so you can get a really good deal if you sign up early!

The man won 7 races and have two championships belts. Donta cars are so fast and he is a skilled driver. To no one wanted to lineup against him. He had to race 5 times against himself. Because, he had to challengers. One opponent pulled up to the line against him. Then backed out saying something was wrong with his car. There was 2 brave opponents that did challenge him. But, to no avail. He was just to fast. We were there as his guest. It was such a God given blessed night. The weather was about 70 degrees with a light breeze. The people was so friendly and welcoming. Between races I walked around the park and ran into some of my Masonic Brethren. I ran into business owners, that I grew up with their parents. For instance a business owner name James " psych" Brown of JBW TOTAL SOLUTIONS LLC" of Orlando Florida. This young man is from Clewiston, Florida " The Muck". And he is Big Balling" in Orlando. Team is owned and sponsored by SVB CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE LLC. I felt like a superstar there at Orlando Speed World. The people was great. We were hanging out with the champ and his family. Champ mom, uncle, sister and friends was part of his team. The were so down to earth. Me myself, love it when you get to see the young people still hanging out and working with there parents and elders. What a great day to be alive!

Great Experience for kids!…read more We had reserved a birthday party package for my daughter, and when we arrived, I expressed a little disappointment that we had not been placed in the event room in the back. However, the manager swooped in and made everything a wonderful, enjoyable experience for the kids. It turned out that our table near the viewing area was the best seating. He decorated it with racing helmets, medals for the kids to wear, and reward trophies. They placed candies and goodies on each child's plate as a surprise and doubled their arcade credits. I could swear they even gave us a little extra food. The kids all had a blast! I have never seen them have this much fun, and we have done many parties in town. The parents of our guests were very impressed. We even noted that the food was much better than that of the other places we have been to (including other go karting businesses in the area). Before we left, one of the moms requested a party date for her son.

Dezerland kept us busy for a few hours and inside during a very hot day. Besides the Auto Museum, Dezerland also features an arcade, escape room, bowling alley, bumper cars, lazer tag maze, ax throwing, and pool tables. Being of a certain age, we chose to visit just the Auto Museum. There are a variety of attraction packages available if you want to use one or several of the attractions. Everyone entering must fill out a waiver, even if you're visiting just the Auto Museum. The waivers are available online as well as advance ticket purchases. There is also a food court and several shops within the Dezerland complex. I'm not into cars myself but the Auto Museum was impressive. My husband especially loved seeing the vintage cars from the 1940s through the 1970s, although some of the cars shown preceded the 1940s. The displays include vehicles used in movies and popular culture. My favorites were the Mystery Machine and Herbie the Love Bug as I saw the movie Love Bug as a child. Besides cars, the museum also features vintage motorcycles, scooters, bicycles, fire trucks, police vehicles, post office delivery vehicles, subway cars, and buses. The backdrops, movies posters, pictures, and cardboard cut outs of the movie 'stars' and historical figures greatly enhance the experience. I can't imagine the time and energy it must have taken to amass this collection of vintage vehicles. We spent about two hours browsing the huge collection of cars but easily could have spent another hour or two here admiring the old time motor vehicles.
