I attended this school from kindergarten through sixth grade. One positive aspect was its diverse…read morestudent population, with students from many different backgrounds. However, in my experience, the school could have done a better job addressing concerns related to race and inclusion. I felt that complaints involving racial issues were not always taken as seriously as they should have been. Additionally, I did not always feel that Black students were represented or supported as effectively as other groups. While this was my personal experience, it sometimes created an environment where some students may have felt overlooked or unheard. Overall, the school has strengths, but I believe there is room for improvement when it comes to fostering inclusion, ensuring all students feel valued, and responding appropriately to concerns involving discrimination or bias.

When they entered public school, they were much more advanced than most other students.
