Poorest customer service I've been involved in. Won auction on gunbroker Nov 26. He got money order payment $95.95 & made shipping label Dec 4. First had PO box prob with UPS, we did not know he was shipping UPS, did not specify on gunbroker but claims he ships UPS all the time. I apologized for the mix-up & sent physical address Dec 8. The same address that is provided to sellers on my gunbroker account. Address update was provided to UPS until Dec 9, UPS did not update till Dec 11. Tracking shows sortation delays as it went to wrong UPS sorting facilities. Next time we asked what was happening Dec 20 & staff said package was moving again, tracking said address changed again. Details show delivered to Inwood, on the other side of state, 5 hour drive away. Detail shows Inside Delivery & but Returned to Sender Dec 24. I emailed them about prob Dec 24, called them Dec 26. again Dec 28, called again Jan 2, Jan 3, using my other number. Message was changed to be closed till Jan 8 for inventory. I had tried to sort it out first but had to file gunbroker BPP claim since UPS customer service rep said sender must file & confirmed updated address was not mine at all. Carl & his staff were not communicating at that point. He finally contacted me after I filed the gunbroker BPP claim. His response was belligerent over BPP but no one responded till I did it & he was not concerned about my issue only worried about his reputation. He said he would send refund Jan 7 but I would be blocked. I still have not received the refund as of Jan 14. He probably sent refund to same wrong town that the package was delivered to- Inwood, WV. He has me blocked so who knows if it was sent or not. Funny I have bought from him before in 2015, no problem then. Now I get 15 days with no response over issue, then he gets mad about what was required to get a response from him. The firearms business is under attack nowadays, why attack the people trying to buy from you. Where did you learn to talk to a woman like that? I have the emails too. Please Carl Weiss seek help! Try to make life better, not worse. Communication is customer service. How you do it is key. I will update if refunded. Be careful buying, problem solving or communication with Carl Weiss, it is not his specialty. Listed below is full tracking details provided to me, as the receiver I could not see or modify the addresses given to UPS. It should not & would not take a package almost a month to travel from Maine to West Virginia. A good business person would have been concerned enough to see what was going on & fix it. He could have asked UPS to return the package to him before it went every else & to the wrong address but he did not, his staff did not.
