Then real life hit--I had a serious housing emergency and had to drop $6,000 just to deal with it. On the day of my appointment, I was hours away handling that situation. When I explained this, instead of showing even a little bit of understanding, they immediately jumped to a $100 no-show fee. I told them I wasn't in a position to pay that given what I was dealing with, and they said they'd call me back to reschedule. They never did. Instead, I get a cold, corporate email saying I'm no longer welcome as a patient because I "refused to comply" with their policy. No conversation, no follow-up, no attempt to work anything out--just cut off. Let's be clear: life emergencies happen. The way a business responds to that says everything about them. This office chose zero empathy, zero communication, and total disrespect. What makes it worse is saying one thing (we'll call you to reschedule) and then doing the exact opposite behind the scenes. That's not just bad service--that's dishonest. If this is how they treat new patients over one emergency, I can't imagine how they handle anything more serious. I'll definitely be warning others I know who were considering going here. There are plenty of dental offices out there that actually treat people like human beings.

Since we are both in our late 70's that involves many years of comparisons. Dr. Jeff is thorough yet does not go beyond procedures that are not necessary and gives the patient a rundown on pro/cons of options available. We both put our complete trust in his field of knowledge and expertise. Our very first impression upon meeting Dr.Jeff is that he is a person of high integrity and compassion as well as personable. He has a way of putting a patient at ease. We live in Pine and have no issue traveling the 70 miles for appointments in Heber. I got a goody bag and the front desk came from behind the desk to make sure I was ok and comfortable. Going back the assistant Alayna was super nice and gave me a tour. I told her about the issues I've been having and she was just very helpful and listened to everything I said or asked. The dentist Dr.Bains was also super nice. She came in checked everything out and explained everything in great detail and if I had any questions she answered them. She referred me to a surgeon and also gave me prices and dates for their surgeon. I will definitely be back !!!! I called, set an apt & made the 3 hour trip to see Stephanie, she made her assessment before I gave her his recommendations (per her request) and sure enough all I need is to repair two fillings! "You don't know what you don't know" which is why I always dread having to find a new doctor, because of dentists like that it makes it really difficult to know what to believe and who you can trust. But I LOVE AND TRUST STEPHANIE. I am so grateful for her, her expertise and her practice. All personnel in her office have always treated me respectfully, have been kind and always professional.
