Regardless, Birchwood Collision ordered the necessary parts and installed a new bumper. When I picked up my vehicle, I noticed the lights weren't working properly and had to bring it back for them to fix the issue. A week later, a dash warning appeared indicating a problem with the electronic brake--an issue I'd never had before. When I called Birchwood Collision about it, they denied any responsibility, insisting it wasn't related to their work, despite my explanation that this was a new problem. Two to three weeks after the repair, the wrapped grille at the bottom of the bumper detached. I returned to the shop, and they initially agreed to fix it. After about a week, they called saying the repair was completed, but the grille was still not properly installed. I pointed this out to the staff, who admitted it wasn't correct and said they'd look at it again. Two weeks later, they told me the grille wasn't covered under the insurance claim. When I questioned this--since the grille was located just a couple of inches from the damaged area--they advised me to contact MPI. After waiting for about 10-15 minutes, they claimed they had reported the issue to MPI and that I should wait for a response. When I followed up with MPI, I learned Birchwood Collision had reported the grille damage as "wear and tear" without telling me. I found their conduct dishonest, irresponsible, and unprofessional. They advertise a warranty on their repairs but avoid taking responsibility and always make excuses instead of fixing issues properly. I would never take my vehicle back to them and strongly recommend avoiding this shop and their misleading practices.
