Castor provided me with those much-needed services, with home care visits from two of the most caring individuals I've ever met. I was able to reach out to them via phone or text, when I needed additional advice or support. I could not have asked for anything or anyone better! Now that I'm getting better and their services have stopped, I miss them! I know whoever they're serving, is also getting the best care possible.

My 98-year-old mother came to Bethany after entering hospice care in another town due to her "failure to thrive." When she arrived, she could barely travel about 100 feet with a walker before she had to rest. After 6 weeks living in a Bethany independent living apartment, she was thriving, had made new friends,was delighted to be removed from hospice care, and pleased to still be independent. She remained in independent living up until her last week. As her heart failed she moved to a room in healthcare. Thoughtful and attentive personnel from Bethany and hospice gave her a peaceful, dignified end to her long and active life. We are so grateful that Bethany Home could be her home for the last chapter of her life.

Due to the trauma on his body and brain being deprived of oxygen he experienced a common disorder called icu delirium and goes away with time. When discharged my father was sent to a rehab facility and due to immobility concerns needed a long term care. We called this facility and was denied due to a medication he was taking for the delirium. Mind you my fathers mind is clear he is able to make financial decisions, and using his laptop computer and cellphone. This facility only cares about money and nothing about patient care. We chose this facility because it has a lot to offer but to be denied over one medication is insanity. They also claim they offer memory care services for patients with Alzheimer's and dementia. If you were to ever look into there medication history you will find the pages of medications for mental health and mood stabilizers. Don't go here they really don't care about helping our community.
