I was frantic in finding another shop on Sunday being that it was the only day I had free to get my hair done before my trip that week. In searching on Google, at 7am on Sunday I called this shop and asked if they take walk-ins. The lady on the other end asked if I could come in at 8 and I said no I wanted to come in at 11. She said for me to call back near that time to see if someone was available. Around 9:50 she called me back to verify if I still wanted to come...and I said yes. I asked if the shop provided the hair and to my delight found out that they did. I arrived 10 mins to 11 to find that the shop was closed. I called the number back and the lady said she was almost there just to sit tight for a minute. She arrived at 11 and let me in the shop and after discussing the style and sorting through the hair colors, she started work right away. I was impressed with the work and more surprised by the price. I got long cornrows that go past midway down my back. Shops I've gone to in the past charge for extra for the length. She did too but it wasn't much at all, only $90. I'm used to paying $140-160 for the style I got today so I was truly happy. I would definitely go here again as the service was great and the price was superb!

Excited that her shop was only minutes from my home, I felt like I had found GOLD! I texted her for her availability for a consultation (since I know NOTHING about weaves and have had a few unsuccessful installments). She told me she was available the same day for a consult. We made the appointment for 2 days later. I have always admired the outcome of other people's hair after leaving the salon, however; in my 39 years, I can probably count on one hand the number of times I've come out of a salon satisfied. For some reason, I'd always come out with "big hair" on a very small face, Simba's twin :). The few times I've tried to do a weave, way too much hair was added and it was always very lumpy and extremely tight. After spending good money on the hair and the the work, I'd come straight home and take it out. Jasmine was absolutely AMAZING!!!!! From the beginning, she asked the "get to know your client" questions to make sure she was able to deliver something that i would feel comfortable with. Her install was so neatly done and for once I DID NOT HAVE TO GO HOME AND REDO MY HAIR after paying for it to be done. I am soooooooooooo happy with her work. She pays very close attention to detail and even when I thought my hair looked AMAZING, she found things that she didn't think looked perfect and didn't stop until it was perfect, by her standards.
