First of all, this place is all the way in Homer, not in a large city where you can find a Cabelas or a Bass Pro shop, this place is God sent to the fisherman and outdoorsy folks of this town. You can practically construct a boat from scratch from their inventory. You can outfit a fisherman with the top quality gear here. The other reviewer said their prices are high...ok lets see it this way, try driving 5 hours to the closest largest city and then try finding the same brand for the same price. I am not giving an excuse for prices, because I have actually been to outdoor gear places in Anchorage and the prices are pretty similar. The gear Shed also has several items on sale that you cannot find anywhere else, you just have to look. I found Columbia reflective long johns at 1/4 price. So yes, I can see why people love this place, not only they carry professional grade gear, but the staff there knows their stuff.

Kusi.aat replaced our old fujitsu last year with a Hisence model. They were easy to work with and…read morehad competitive rates. Unfortunately, the Hisence was a dud. It was loud and didn't heat very well at cold temps. Kusi.aat replaced it with a Midea brand model free of charge, no questions asked after multiple people had issues with their Hisence model. The Midea model doesn't have the ionizer or as many features as the Hisence, but it heats WAY better. Kusi.aat is great. Recommend going with them if you are not in a rush.
