I met their representative (Mick), and he spent less than 30 minutes looking at the job, and explaining the scope of work. I got a call from Mick about 30 minutes later, telling me the total was going to be $12,107.40. I told Mick that was too much money, thanked him for his time, and ended the call (it was a two minute call). I bought a shop vac/buckets/bags/tyvek suits, hired a friend and spent six hours cleaning up the mess myself. Anyway, no big deal, until I saw the $350.00 charge on my credit card statement from Pioneer Floorcare. I had given my credit card number, and verbally authorized $50.00 for an estimate when I first contacted them. I made a follow up call, and spoke to a guy who sounded sympathetic, and agreed it was too much money, but said he couldn't do anything about it. I found it with Pioneer. Scott came out the day I called and gave me a quote. We got it scheduled for a few days later and I had to change the appointment but Scott made it work for my situation. The technician came out and did my three bedrooms, stairs, living room and tile hallway, it looks so much better. The carpets weren't soaked to the core like I've seen in the past either, mildly damp and walkable the next morning. The price was reasonable and the customer service was great. So much so I called Scott back today to have my primary home cleaned next week! If you need quality carpet and floor cleaning at a fair price and great customer service I don't think you'll go wrong with Pioneer Floorcare.
