This particular Winn-Dixie supermarket is located in the Shoppes of Victoria Square shopping plaza and is the anchor store of that particular shopping plaza. He advised that they also have a Winm-Dixie liquor store in the same shopping plaza Winn-Dixie has definitely made a comeback in the last few years. They did a remodel and multiple locations, they also closed multiple locations. The best thing they did was put a focus on their meat department and start bringing in more USDA Choice grade beef.. For a while, Winn-Dixie was selling mainly USDA inspected, but not graded beef. You could definitely tell the difference. Now, they are selling beef that you would want to buy. This has to be by far the worst grocery store I have ever had the displeasure of walking into. The produce section is absolutely horrible!! The fruit and vegetables are disgraceful. I don't even know how they could sell half the stuff they have out on display. Moldy, rotted, wilted, just terrible. Furthermore, watch the expiration dates on everything you buy. They clearly never rotate their food. A lot of things are outdated or ready to be outdated within the next few days. Be very cautious when shopping here. Just stick to the non-perishable items and you'll be fine. Avoid fresh food at this location at all cost. You will be extremely disappointed. Finally, the checkout is beyond despicable. Lines are always backed up, cashiers have no idea what they're doing extremely slow. So I've decided the last few times to go to the self check out , I don't understand why I am always being harassed by the masked woman name MARY, who works the self check out lanes. She's rude, nasty and does have any business working in customer service. She has zero people skills. And for the love of God, whatever you do do not use the bathroom. Talk about filthy...there is barely running water and the toilets hardly flush. It should be condemned. It's so bad. These 2 stars are probably too many. Most of this stores staff are severely lacking in people skills, especiallyin the meat department. On top of that, the store opens at 7, but the staff starts to trickle in at about 7.30, then the saws don't start up until 8. That would never happen at Publix. read more

Went to Winn Dixie 2/1 and bought variety pack of chips. opened a bag of chips and are stale. chips expired on 6/16/2020. Why were they for sale? I tried calling Winn Dixie for refund, line is BUSY! call 5x already. I called their ft. Pierce location and unable to help. Trying YELP in hopes of possibly getting a response. I have returned to Winn Dixie now as they are again giving RAINCHECKS for sale items they are out of. I suspect it was an expensive lesson. They newly renovated store is very much improved. I read a review sayng the steaks were terrible. Of course they were, I'll bet they were the $4.99 lb. weekend specials. Beef is graded: Prime (most of which goes to restaurants), Choice (most common in stores), Standard ($4.99 special) which has no fat and is tough. And one other I cannot remember. Standard is good for stews & the last one is for dogs. This, my store is on Jensen Beach Blvd about 1/2 miles west of the railroad. It is clean, I think the aisles are wider, One Complaint: Sell beef fat or leave more fat on your Rib Roasts. It's not store policy, it's South Eastern President's policy and he eats out. The pharmacy tech staff is under qualified, unprofessional, and unmotivated. I know they have also been extremely disrespectful to the manager as well. Constantly there is missing staff and little help for the pharmacists and they are over worked and absolutely underpaid. Hire better quality techs! read more

The Winn Dixie in PSL is nice and clean. The staff is courteous but you don't get that warm friendly feeling. They offer a good selection and competitive prices. I love the gas discount on certain items. The one thing I don't like is something their supposed to be good at, their meats. In my opinion not all that good. They have some issues with freshness (rewrapping and refreezing I would think) Same issue with their poultry. My phone # wasn't recognized at my local Shell station when trying to get gas. I wrote W-D about it asking, per their site, that they reply via phone. I became impatient and called. The CS rep yapped over the top of me, interrupting, not listening, and was really out of line. I asked to speak to another rep but was left on permanent hold. Are those calls recorded? I called back and got a friendly voice. We went over a couple of things and she asked if I would hold on while she got more information from their system. Of course, I will. Another permanent hold. I received an email, after all the above, advising me that I can't use my phone # at the gas station. Of course I can. It's the station I have always used and had no previous issues using my phone #. The W-D store uses my phone #. Even the Shell clerk tried but the W-D whatever WOULDN'T RECOGNIZE my account. I don't shop W-D for the fuel perks. But, as long as they are handing them out, I'll take them. Now that they have convoluted a simple procedure, I'll save gas and shop Publix and Wally's. They really need to look into their CS department. I mean, what does it cost to attract a customer and what does it cost to lose one? 9/23 - I received a call from the second person I spoke to. Not recognizing the #, I let it go to voice mail. Her message addressed my hold issue stating that the music doesn't play while on hold. Still the very calm and friendly voice. To the crux of the matter. Despite using my phone # numerous time to get gas it's still my fault for not carrying around yet another piece of plastic needing to be swiped. Nice job on the remodel! Store is much cleaner and shelves are well-stocked. Lots of specials and bogos. It is not my main choice, but I do stop in about once a week. Produce is fresh and well presented, but a bit pricey. Meat is good quality and the prices are competitive, especially the specials. I remember the original grand opening of this store...it was the first grocery store west of the Publix @ Rivergate! Glad they're still here. It's always good to have choices! read more

This Winn Dixie is very clean, organized and well managed. I had no trouble finding my groceries and when I was ready to check out the cashier was super friendly. I go to places like Walmart or publix and the cashiers look like they're going through the motions, which I get, they could be tired of having a bad day, but the cashier I had was very friendly and energetic. I've gone a couple more times, sometimes the same cashier sometimes different but they're all very nice. This is now my preferred market. read more
