I never do the big shop here because the prices are too high, where you might as well go to Whole Foods. Parking is usually easy, but you have to watch out for people who may be wandering in the rows, so you don't hit anyone with your car. The flow of people in Publix is never too challenging, so you can find what you're looking for. I don't normally do the Deli because the wait times are usually too long and the flow is slow, so I'll go for some fried chicken if I need something fast for dinner. The self-checkout certainly makes things easier. But I haven't had challenges when I have used one of the person-handled checkout aisles. Overall, it's an ok location being close to home, and I need a few items.

But we eat alot of veggies and fruit. Their produce is the worst I have seen anywhere . The straw berries always have moldy ones in it, blackberries are always mushy. They dont seem to mind selling crappy lettuce and slimy carrots, you get the point now. Who ever is in charge of the produce? SHAME ON YOU. Compared to publix your produce and meat looks like your buying 2nd hand food. Just plain gross. Avoid anything in the Bakery late in the evening today I was shopping at the Publix in Loxahatchee…read moreGroves and was around 6pm. I bought 4 "hot ham croquette" from the Bakery. As soon as I left I bit into one and it was cool, dried, tasteless like of they were baked yesterday. I immediately called and spoke with their manager Cory. He said that he was sorry but they are baked first thing in the morning. I explained that if that was the case they should get rid of them and don't sell them after 1200. He informed me that they couldn't do that because corporate does not allow them to throw merchandise away and if I have a complaint to contact corporate. Looks like Publix if willing to sell an out of it life product to its customers to save a buck. Cory did offered if I wanted fresh one to return to the store and they ll bake fresh one. Driving back for four croquettes is not worth it. But I learn a valuable fact about Publix. It's not what it used to be. "Where shopping is a pleasure" NOT!

And their sale price on eggs is usually decent. As long as you don't care about name brands and are willing to take a chance, you're ok. Lately not so much. I'm getting tired of spending money to try one of their house items and not liking it. We had been at the nearby Culver's and decided to stop here for a couple items on my list. Unfortunately, they had neither of the items. Tons of pumpkin spiced cream cheese in a tub, but not one container of regular cream cheese. And your only choices in the jams/jellies section were honey, grape jelly, and strawberry jam. Again, not what we were looking for. We walked through the weekly specials section of non-food items and the shelves were a disaster. Everything in a big jumble like the locusts had swarmed through . Guess we won't be shopping here...

Plus it had a lot of features not at my local branches. I was surprised to see a large (long) salad bar, an olive bar, a separate coffee cafe, and a popcorn station (!). The produce was arranged like a painting -- colorful and decorative. I was here to find parsnips for a recipe. I'd already been to two other grocery stores with no luck. And yes, they had them! We even got a few other items on sale -- like coffee. There were not many folks shopping when we were there. I'm not sure if it was the time of the day or what. Meanwhile we were happy to have a quick short wait at the cashier.

We buy most of our groceries here and have been an Aldi customer for at least 10 years. Overall we…read morehave been very pleased and always recommend them whenever we get a chance. However today we're bought a bag of frozen salmon and when we thawed a few pieces to make for dinner it was spoiled. My wife has saved the receipt and I bagged the spoiled pieces and the remainder of the frozen pieces and brought it back to this location where we purchased it. Unfortunately my wife has thrown the over bag with the barcode on it away and has paid with her card. The cashier was unbelievably rude and advised me of having bought it elsewhere. Then claimed I hadn't bought that fish from them. Then because I didn't have my wife's card with me she also objected but then agreed to give me a store credit but in the meantime a manager has arrived and ultimately approved the refund but told me she didn't believe me. So this was a bad day in terms of Aldi being good to it's customer and I am very unhappy with how I was treated I did get the refund on a store gift card and bought other items so Also ended up with a bigger sale. And I will still shop with then because they are a great store but these team members need some serious coaching on how to resolve customer issues with courtesy and grace.
