The pharmacy is incredibly rude . Have never tried the pharmacy at any Publix before but my husband was given a script for antibiotic and we wanted it quickly filled that evening rather than waiting to go to our usual Costco pharmacy . We walked in this publix at 6:30pm and waited in the drop off area. The dark haired woman behind the counter looked at us a few times with no acknowledgment then finally came over and without even saying hello or looking at the script - says " that can't be picked up until tomorrow " . I said it's antibiotic for his tooth he needs to get started on it right away and she said they were busy with covid shots !!! What ???? There were a few people behind the counter ! This was rude and inexcusable !! I won't be going there again and definitely won't bother with the nasty pharmacy !! Rude !! read more

I'm fairly new to this area and started to go to this publix more frequently. Normally, publix is great and I normally wouldn't write a review about them, but there is an employee at this location that has really bothered me to the point where I have looked for another publix to go to out of the way just so that I don't have to interact with her. I'm not sure if i'm being silly or petty, maybe slightly both, but the woman that works the seafood department is unfriendly. I literally don't know her and feel like she doesn't like me. The first time I went there and asked for some fillets, I was greeted (or literally not greeted at all) by a woman behind the counter that appeared like she didn't want to be there. I'm fairly certain that I said hi how are you and she said nothing. I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but it almost seemed like she was angry or bothered that I was there. There was no emotion on her face at all so it was hard to tell, but certainly not a friendly or helpful one. Perhaps she just really didn't care about doing a good job. I'm not there to have a conversation with you or become your friend but as I left I was thinking "geez she must be having a bad day". Anyways, who cares, right? I've been there a few more times for my fish and have been helped by a gentleman. He was nice/normal/polite. I went again and as I was coming around the corner to the fish department, I saw that there was a woman there and said "oh nooo" to myself. Again, I was "not greeted" by this unfriendly woman, just stared at until I spoke. They appeared to not have the fish available that I wanted which is unusual, but I still asked her if they had it and with a very stern face and cold attitude she said "I don't have that fish" and proceeded to stare at me as if i said something wrong. I don't know why this lady bothers me so much, surely I have received unpleasant or poor service at many other places before. I guess at publix you expect a "no, were out i'm sorry about that, do you want to try this other similar type? this type is pretty good, etc." I just said uhh okay...and gave her a funny look. Annoyed, I'm seriously considering asking her at this point if she has a problem, but I'm not that bold. So I said "i'm not sure about the other fish, ive never cooked with them before", then I just awkwardly walked away because she just stared at me and clearly was not going to say anything else or suggest anything. Maybe I'm over exaggerating or overly sensitive and I guess who really cares if the fish lady has a personal problem, but honestly, I don't think i should feel uncomfortable when I go there so now I go to a different location where I can order my fish without being judged. I love shopping at this Publix but as I was in the back I saw the assistant manager of the meat department handling hamburger meat with no gloves on then go out and help handle things with customers, go back and continue working without washing his Hands and handling raw meat again. This is absolutely discussing if you are handle food you should always be wearing gloves. I was surprised to see that it was the assistant manager doing this. read more

I am a late night shopper, but I am always quick to pick up what I need and get out by closing. At this store, I feel like the management and employees are watching the clock and impatiently tapping their toes waiting for me to exit the store. Two nights in a row I've been "greeted" by a manager at the front door asking if I only need to get a couple of items. Almost every time I'm at this store, my cashier makes some remark about the store closing at 11:00. I know this kind of behavior is not in line with the customer service Publix expects from its staff. For the top dollar I am paying to shop at Publix, I'd expect to be treated better. read more

I have read the reviews and am convinced that these people (who wrote bad reviews) must be shopping in some other store! I visited the store shortly after it opened and the first person I met was a total delight! He ( I believe that his name was Justin) was kind, courteous, very informed about the products that Publix carries and where they were located. I was very impressed since this was a new store. The last visit, I was assisted (in putting my groceries into my car as I am a disabled veteran) by a young man who has Down Syndrome (as does my niece) and was so happy to meet and chat with him. His smile lit up my day! Congradulations on finding and hiring such a wonderful employee! I have visited all of the departments and found everyone working there to be wonderful people. I live about 30 miles west where there are other stores but I drive the distance as I know that I will always have a pleasant shopping experience. read more

This is a smaller Publix store in a decent area. Usually no problem finding what you need. The shopping/ strip mall has a seven eleven, a Duffy's, a nail shop, and a dentist, among other things. The parking lot is also small, but usually no trouble finding a place to park. It is convenient to come here for groceries and fuel. 4 stars because sometimes it takes a while to check out and the store gets pretty crowded with employees stocking shelves. Pharmacy ! I have always gone to this pharmacy and Keith the pharmacist is the rudest person I have ever met . After this last time he was rude I refused to ever go back ! I have already transferred my rxs and will never go back ! He need some customers service classes ! Saw that i was charged double for an item. When i brought it to customer service the rep "sara" treated me like some sort of bum for asking about publix policy of getting that item for free. Very rude. With the "customer service "sign hanging over her head. Too many pu lix nearby for me to go to this one and be treated like a criminal. read more

Worst Publix in Palm Beach county. Poor managerial skills and rude personel. Very deceptive with their BOGO's putting disclaimers in very small print no one could reasonably be expected to see. They hope when you get to check out where you are told , "oh no, not that size, flavor, etc." that you'll just cave and pay twice as much (or more) than they advertised. Avoid if possible and go to the one in Wellington where they know how to treat customers fairly. read more

This is a nice new and large Publix. They have everything you expect to find at a grocery store. Publix has very good deli items, I like their brand of Hummus better than any other you can get at the grocers. read more

Every publix I go to has great Deli service...NOT THIS ONE!!! Every time I come here (about 3 times a week) they only have 1 person working the Deli and is usually a 10 minute wait. It's ridiculous! At most the y will put 2 people when there are 7 or more people waiting. read more

I went yesterday to get $20 from a western union wire(first time ever),the customer service clerk was a blond in her sixties.I had my tracking number,the correct amount($20),the name of the person who sent it and she also asked me about the location it was sent from.After checking a computer for a second,she told me that my last name was misspelled and she couldn't help me.She actually told me to contact the person and made him to correct the spelling(1 letter). I have never been treated with less than utmost courtesy and politeness at this Publix. All the staff are willing to help you find something, smile, and ask if there is anything else they can do to help. That is a culture that starts at the top. I congratulate management. read more
