I honestly didn't see the signage since I was distracted by all the activity. No sooner did I step in the store, an employee barked at me "We're closed! We're closed!". I said okay and turned around to walk out and another woman stated they were closed (with an attitude). Everyone seemed on edge. All of the workers have been nice to me and I look forward to seeing them when I shop. I also learned to look in the app for coupons which helps a lot with saving money. I discovered recently how great their cakes taste. Originally I was going to get the 2 tiered cake for my daughter's birthday but when I went back someone already bought it. For $30 you can't go wrong. I ended up picking up a single layered round cake, I believe it was roughly $15, and was surprised at how well it tasted. It was pretty moist but what really made an impression was the whipped icing. It made it not overly sweet which is why my daughter normally doesn't like cake. She actually wanted to save a piece to eat it later. You can also preorder custom cakes but there is always a good selection in the fridge when you're in a hurry.

I don't shop in places in person anymore due to a variety of factors but my partner does and he finds this location helpful and satisfactory.

She is very mean towards her customers and is very condescending. I don't think I have ever seen her happy or nice. It's not really comforting walking into that store if she is there. As for the person who posted that they started by selling milk and expanded to what they are now. Two of my brothers worked at their original store in Folsom, PA is an understatement. In 1974 they had a contest to design a new logo. My brother submitted one and his design won. His concept was that WAWA was a native American word for flying goose. And personally I wish that they would bring back the heated bagel with pepperoni and mozzarella cheese.
