Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way, it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities where Publix opens a location are very grateful for a Publix opening by them. I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location for that matter and I give it five stars.

If you are a first time shopper you may not be impress because there is usually one brand and each item looks like a main brand item. Example instead of Aunt Jemima Syrup it is called Aunt Maple and looks like the same container. It takes a while to get use to their marketing of products. Our biggest purchases is always the fruits when on sale. Example Mangoes .49 cents, blueberries $1.19. We buy in bulk and freeze them for smoothies. The European chocolates and the German pretzels are also good at a good price. Bring your own bags unless you want to pay .10 cents for one. Also bring a quarter for rental of the basket which you get back after returning it.

They will not give you a discount when it's short as I asked because every single bag for an item was under the stated weight. So I passed on buying those items.
