Well I got duped again by this brick and mortar retailer - I came here to pick up an item that was…read moreadvertised by Walgreens to be available for in store pickup, turns out this item wasn't a stock item and only available online at walgreens.com, no fault of the extremely friendly and professional staff here, but still frustrating. As I roamed the aisles hoping that the aisle signage would put me in the vicinity but after several laps I knew it wasn't going to happen and thankfully a wonderful woman in a vest with a badge stopped to assist - she wasn't sure if they had either but started on yet another journey around the store to see if we could locate it - I mentioned to her that it may be available only online but she wasn't hearing of it until we exhausted every shelf without finding it. After thanking her I decided to see if maybe the pharmacist knew of this item and lucky for me she did - and informed me that this item was only offered online and suggest I try CVS by this time I'm thinking Amazon would definitely be my almighty savior but now I would have to take her recommendations hmmm that's quite the drive but I exited without purchasing anything because it seemed this may be a marketing strategy Walgreens uses to get me here knowing I might buy something else well which wasn't going to happen just an FYI CVS uses the same strategy as Walgreen except they offered to help me order it online. Like I mentioned earlier no fault of the staff here and I do appreciate all their help but shame on their employer this is why I don't frequent these places. Fast forward less than 24 hours - Amazon delivers...

This was for a Z-pack. Pretty common drug. I called my doctor and they called the prescription in to the Walgreens on International Speedway in DeLand. Surprise! They had it in stock. I'm done with this pharmacy.

Shame on this store for acting in such a manner, even if was for such a thing even those type of people deserve access to clean new and clean syringes because that causes much more harm to the community as a whole for the sickness that reusing them causes. I thought deland was a little more progressive than this antiquated way of thinking that literally harms peoples life's. that pharmaceutical professional needs to realize the harm she is causing and that she is doing nothing for the war on drugs. thank you for those dirty looks that lead me to an eye opening education today on a major and dangerous issue facing Florida.

It literally took them almost 10 mins to checkout one guest, they were moving slow per usual and normally when I come to Walgreens I'm usually in and out fast and efficient, but for some reason this location just needs some improvement with their staff. It was so bad that some guy in front of us allowed us to get in front of him because we only had like 2 items to check out while he had a few, which was really nice of him. This location just need to be more fast and efficient with more staff. Hope this helps anybody in the near future
