Cajun fries, hot honey rub, lemon pepper & Louisiana rub
Patrick R.

Wingstop is a convenient and safe choice when you don't really know what to eat, but wings seem like a good idea. Easy to order online and pick it up to eat at the comfort of your home/hotel. You get a good deal for your bucks. I had the combo with Cajun fries, 2 tenders St. Louis rub, hot honey rub wings with bone, and the boneless lemon pepper. Had more than enough, usually it's for 2 people but I did it all by myself.

The long hold time

No stars. first of all I told the worker not to fry my wings hard ASF I don't want the wings to be hard as wood the worker acknowledged my request but guess what hard ASF so therefore I called Wingstop on 124th and capitol drive and I was on hold for 8 minutes and 2 second I'm sure the worker that took my order earlier today is the same worker that answer the phone this evening but it's cool I WONT BE BACK but I will b getting n contact with the store owner and possibly the health department

Regular fries but I ordered seasoned fries

Waited for 40min for 10pc classic lemon pepper wings and seasoned fries only to get regular fries and wings with a lack luster amount of seasoning.

5 Reg and 5 garlic parm.

At the Managers request, I gave them a second chance and found things much improved. Service was good and so was the food. :)

The decor is modern with bright colors and cool chicken art on the walls. My 10 piece original bone in chicken wings were a choice of two flavors and two dipping sauces so I got the Buffalo and cool ranch with blue cheese sauce. The Buffalo was tossed with the standard tangy slight heat buffalo sauce. The cool ranch fell off the rails because I got a garlic flavor which was very good and dry rubbed with a light crispy coating. The wings were not the smaller or the biggest but average. The wings were hot/cooked order with moist/tender meat on my visit. Overall the wings were delicious and good on my visit but as all my reviews it depends on what you order and if the restaurant is having a off moment or a stellar moment and my visit excellent.

I placed a mobile order for 10 honey BBQ boneless wings with fries and also got a side of mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was gross. Something about the taste was very off-putting and the "cheese" consistency was like paste. The fries were battered, which is always a plus compared to plain, boring fries served elsewhere. Even with being in the to go box they maintained some crispiness by the time I got back to work. The breading on the boneless wings wasn't very thick or crunchy, but the chunks were BIG. They used a heavy amount of sauce, which wasn't a bad thing as the sauce was good. Paired with the fries, I feel like I got very good value for my money. I wouldn't get the mac and cheese again though.

They came out piping hot. The buffalo garlic was listed under hot sauces but it is not hot IMO. We had carrots and celery with blue cheese on the side. We had also ordered onion rings - they came out hot but we would skip them next time - kind of bland. The place was packed, so it was a little tough to get service but the staff was hustling. Our server was was very friendly and helpful when we were able to get her to our table. TomKen's gives typical Wisco neighborhood bar vibes, with lots of local memorabilia on the walls and several TVs with sports on. We may have to go back and try the fried chicken - tables all around us were ordering big baskets of fried chicken and all the sides.

TomKen's has classic sports bar vibes. They were busy when I visited on a Saturday afternoon. It took a little while to get my order in. But the people were nice and there was a Brewers game on TV and I didn't mind hanging out for awhile. I got the famous friendly chicken dinner. This was a 4-piece half chicken dinner with coleslaw, fries and Italian bread. It was a lot of food especially for the price. The chicken was juicy and the batter was nicely salty. The fries were the crinkle variety--nothing special on their own but a nice potato-ey complement to the chicken. The cole slaw was solid--a little sweet and not too mayonnaise heavy. One should not eat fried chicken every day of course, but I would definitely come back for a treat.

It was pretty quiet when we got there around 5 but picked up as the night went on The decor...first thing in noticed is there isn't too much sports memorabilia on the walls. People have commented on that and I'm torn..the walls do look a little bare but overall its a nice clean look that eliminates that kind of junky look sports bars some times take on. TVs..lots of them! Its easy to watch a game here and the high top tables and chairs were very comfy...bar seats looked similar. We got appetizers to share at the table..fried pickles (whole picke spears!), quesadillas, and wings. The wings came eith with both blue cheese and ranch that were very good and lots of carrots and celery. All the apps were decent but wings were my favorite. They had a happy hour special (I think $2 off most drinks?) They had a decent amount of NA drinks and I had an athletic IPA and Heineken 0. Our server was the nicest girl and she got us our food super quick and accommodated all our requests. Another great perk is the parking lot in the back! North Ave can be busy for parking alot of times Final result - im a fan! Great game watching spot in east Tosa.

I asked what time the kitchen closed--got a flat "10" from the bartender. It was almost 11, so fine. Then I asked about their Bloody Mary mix. Instead of a simple answer, he launched into some condescending monologue about how they make their own, but only for the daytime crowd--when people "actually drink Bloodies." Cool, thanks for the attitude. It was clear pretty fast that this guy had no interest in being remotely welcoming. I pivoted and ordered the Lambeau Leap Mule. Turns out they were out of melon liqueur--whatever, it happens--but instead of offering literally any substitute (ever heard of schnapps?), he just dropped the other ingredients on the bar and walked away. No comment. No effort. Then, because this trainwreck wasn't done, he got into a heated scheduling argument with his younger coworker right in front of us. Completely unprofessional and incredibly awkward. I mentioned we might leave, and he scoffed. Like we were the problem. Round Two, better than the first but still mediocre at best. I am relatively certain this was a different person but the vibes were the same, think hipstery gatekeeping bartender meets bare minimum effort. Unsure if I will try again.

I stopped in and placed a to go order of their six piece legs and thighs with breaded corn for the side. When I saw breaded corn was an option, the first thing my mind went to was breaded corn nuggets. Never once did I think "hey, maybe they mean literal pieces of corn on the cob that are breaded." Boy, that surprised me. The breading kind of fell off the corn as you started eating it, so it was mostly just corn on the cob that was a little mushy compared to corn that isn't fried. I wouldn't get this again. I feel like I got a good amount of chicken based on the price. There were three legs and three thighs in the container and they weren't necessarily small pieces. Unfortunately, neither the breading or the chicken itself were seasoned, so each piece was just plain chicken in plain breading. Not bad, but also something I wouldn't get again.

I'm happy they are doing so well and have multiple locations now! We just wanted a drink and a quick bite to eat and being during a baseball game, lots of places in the area were busy. There was a good crowd there watching the game as well. It's an interesting setup, reminds me almost of a living room (with dining tables) and then the small bar area is to the side. To order food, you do it through two wall kiosks which I like because you can look at options and not feel rushed unless there's a line. Outside they have tables and a tv as well. I choose a veggie sandwich which had a good kick to it! The smaller size was good enough for me. It was a bit confusing how to get your food, from what we understood, you have to go through a door to get to the kitchen window (bathrooms are that way too) but no one calls your order number or anything. I'd suggest an improvement on that way you know your food is ready or maybe we missed something. Overall, I would return and would like to try other items on the menu!

I went w the shanghai soup dumplings and wontons w chili oil in addition to some crab rangoons. They come out crispier and are served in a delicious sweet-and-sour sauce with a very subtle kick. The regular sanji itself is well seasoned, but too doughy. The green scallion pancakes were not life-changing, but still good - probably among the better ones I've had in Milwaukee. Other dishes, like the fried rice, are pretty standard American Chinese food. The dim sum feels more pre-made, and the selection is limited anyway.
