Her expression alone could've soured the soda machine. Every word she forced out sounded like it had been dredged up from the bottom of a clogged drain--thick, bitter, and dripping with open contempt. It's a hit or miss. Mostly miss. Orders constantly wrong , or takes twice as long , missing food in your order. We've tried ordering from this location a few times throughout the year thinking maybe this time , maybe there's a different crew working maybe they'll get a simple order right or on time and I'm even thinking even if they are running a few min behind no big deal it happens but I think they are just not being properly trained and no one is taking the impotence of running or managing this location properly. read more

Was already having a bad day when I decided to settle for wingstop since I did not have time to get something that I actually wanted. I placed an online order and realized that I forgot to select all flats for my wings since I do not eat drums. When I realized my mistake, I called the store to let them know what happened and asked if they could cancel that order since I made a mistake. The lady who answered the phone told me there was no way to cancel it on their end so I asked if there was any way that I could just pay extra to receive all flats. I could hear her speaking to a man in the background, I'm assuming to find out if this could be done. She first told me that I would have to pay double.. I asked "so you mean to tell me I would have to pay $14 on top of the $14 I have already paid?" Then she told me no, that I would just have to pay .80 cents extra, since that's how much it is to have all flats. I asked if she needed my order number and she said no, she asked for my name and said she would tell the cook to make all flats. When I arrived to pick up my order, I told the man at the counter about the conversation I had on the phone and he seemed to know nothing about it. All he did was looked at me with a stupid expression and told me "I didn't make all flats". I said okay well is there a way you could make all flats?" He looked at me disgustingly and told someone in the kitchen to make all flats then he came back to the register and told me my total was $11. why in the hell am I paying $11 when I just paid $14 and I was already told that I would only have to pay .80 cents more. I wasn't going to argue so I ended up telling him, don't worry about it. That I would take the meal that was already made. He said "sorry about that" and I walked away. I was obviously upset when I went back to the car so my mother asked what happened. I told her what happened but I said let's just leave but she went inside and asked for a manager. The man at the counter told her he was the manager, he would not give her the phone number for the manager who is above him and he said he didn't speak to me when I called so he basically has nothing to do with the situation. I just feel like as a manager, it's your responsibility to rectify situations that happen at your store. It may not be your fault if an employee gives false information but it is your fault for not making the situation any better. Took 40 minutes for my order and everyone that was in front of me got my order within 10 mins of wait time and all i ordered was a chicken sandwich. I had to go up and ask about my order and I was given attitude about it, and so was my girlfriend when 10 minutes later she got up and asked about her order. It turns out her order had been called but they pronounced her name completely wrong and she was cool about it but just got sassed by the worker who insisted her pronunciation was the superior choice. She then continued to come bother me and my girlfriend when obviously we weren't interested in small talk after waiting so long. She just seemed like a pick me girl you'd meet in highschool. The workers are too loud and constantly shouting and having loud banter with each other. I'm glad they're having a good time but its ruins the atmosphere of staying to eat inside. Overall it seems like they're understaffed or half the staff is just too busy goofing off on their phones to care. I go to restaurants all over texas city and its just weird that Wing Stop is the only place that makes you wait that long. The food was of poor quality on top of everything. I will not be going there again and I do not recommend any one to eat there for the time being. Unless they have a complete 180 but its Texas City I don't see that happening. read more

I had never eaten wing stop wings! Really. I tried their fries many years ago. But to actually go in a wing stop and eat some wings, never. I ordered through the app and got it to go today. Four mild and four regular hot. I ordered the classic bone in wings. WOW!! Sooooo good. Got it with a side of veggies, nice fresh crisp celery and carrots. Ranch dipping sauce. I'm not usually a fan of ranch dressing but it complimented the meal as a dipping sauce very well. The cashier that greeted me when I walked in, according to the receipt her name is Ericka if I'm not mistaken. She is very welcoming, friendly, polite, and professional. They had Under The Boardwalk playing in the restaurant when I walked in. It's an old song by the Drifters. Good music people listened to before humanity became phone addicted. Was nice. Bunch of people eating in there looked like they just got off work and were enjoying a nice meal. They have one of those Coca Cola remix fountain drink machines in there. Once you figure out how it works it's great. I like those fountain machines. When I walked in about 15 minutes after I ordered on the app, my order was ready to go. This business gave me the impression of running like a well oiled machine. I was in and back out with my food in less than five minutes. Over all a very good experience. This was the first time visiting this location. matter of fact first time ever to Wingstop. When arriving i was greeted by a fairly tall and skinny black male who seemed to be in big rush to take I order. Being the first time there I needed a minute to look at the order. He asked me for my name and when I said I needed to look at the menu first and that I haven't ordered anything yet he became very angry and started yelling NO..! NO..! NO..! I NEED YOUR NAME..! When I provided my name he just continued explaining why he needed my name and so I had to give it to him 3 times before he finally reallized I was actually providing what he was asking. My order was for 8 hot wings. Nothing more. When I placed my order I got a condescending head shake from this person who is suppose to be the first contact for this company. After I paid he said it will be 18 mins for my order. Which is fine. After like 15 mins the male walked out the front door and sat in his car located right out front. Again. This is a person who works at a retina location and is allowed to park his car right outside the front doors. Mind blowing business model. Wing stop claims to to have the freshes wings available and that is what attracted me to the location to begin with. But what I got was far from fresh. Out of the 8 wings I received it was pretty easy to tell that 3 of them were freshly cooked but the other 5 were definitely not. The wings were lathered in hot sauce but the meat underneath was tough and dry. Like product that was cooked 2 days ago and allowed to sit out on the counter before being heated up and reserved to some unexpecting customer. The vision in my head was food that was discarded by another customer a few days ago being reheated and sold. Tx City location on Palmer Highway is very Hit or Miss. Sometimes they will have your order prepared as requested. Most times lately I have to have them redo my order Due to failure on their part to actually pay attention to what's being requested. Tonight was the worst, I asked for well done wings and twice they gave me not well done- with the second back softer than the 1st. Should have requested a refund- the third round of wings was burnt. The is the absolute WORST location I have EVER been to. My order was completely messed up, and I didn't notice until I got home. I called and they told me they could only fix it if I brought all the food back, so I packed it all up, went back and they REFUSED to correct my order because they gave me what was rang in. First of all, it's not my fault that someone on their side messed up putting in my order. Second, why even have me go back if you weren't going to fix it?
