PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING GOING TO WINGSTOP IN CARROLLWOOD!!!! My first visit. Very conveniently located so figured we would give it a try. We got there around 9:30 pm to place our to go order. The staff was in the back. No where in site. So it took about 5 min for someone to come to the counter. We placed our order with a young lady that clearly did not want to be there. She wasn't rude. But she did have an attitude. Huge red flag and issue for me. But I was hungry so oh well. I ordered the 6 piece boneless wing meal. Smokey BBQ. My husband ordered 10 piece bone in wings only plain with the Cajun sauce on the side. Sounds simple right? Well no..... we did not leave until 10:15 pm. It took 45 min for our order to be complete. So..... CALL AHEAD!!!! Make sure you call in your order. That seems to be the way to go. If not you will be waiting a very long time. That's the only reason for the 3 Stars. Also... get your sauce on the side. I have enough BBQ sauce in my container to sauce at least 15 wings. It's crazy how much sauce they put on 6 pieces of boneless wings.

Large fries

This experience was much less satisfying, the last few have been and for the price paid, this may have been my final visit. I was wanting a large amount of calories in one sitting, and thought why not order wings and beat the dinner rush? I saw their website had a 5 wing special, so I ordered 15 wings for cheaper than usual with veggies, a Dr. pepper and ranch. It all arrived correctly, and when I opened the bag to remove things, a pool of water dumped from my veggies to my wings. That really needs to be fixed, perhaps ACTUALLY putting the veggies in a container would be a good idea (like the fries are). The biggest let down on this visit was how bad the wings were, although the veggies were fine and the ranch was ranch. The wings tasted extremely old, very dry, tough, and a weird texture to the skin. They were off putting enough that I threw away about half of the wings and focused on my veggies. I don't think there's anything outside of the meat quality I would have changed otherwise though, just let down that I was served funky, dry, old chicken.

So much oil everywhere

The pizza was beautifully presented and tastes good! I could have went without the wings. They were just ok. Very small compared to how I remember them being jumbo and juicy years back, plus there was no facasia bread with them. (Maybe they stopped serving that with the wings) their blue cheese is yummy with chunks of blue cheese. Overall, today's experience was pretty good, but came with a high price tag. Considering it's still "pizza and 5 wings."

So we did take out after one very only work day. We got garlic knots (my favorite), garlic wings, and a white mushroom pizza (I suffer from gastritis and can't do red sauce). The garlic knots were amazing, tasting like it was straight from NYC. But I was bummed with the pizza. Don't know if it was the mushroom used or a seasoning they added to the pizza, but I found it very salty. Then the wings were bathing in this white garlicky sauce that I didn't dare touch it. Personally I may keep away from this place, but if friends insist I'll give it another try. But it may be another 10+ years.

I have heard so many good things about this place so I had to check it out myself…read more App: Chicken buffalo dip: 2/5, wasn't a big fan of this as it had a very sweet flavor profile Entree: Half original medium, half lemon pepper traditional wings. Both were a 5/5 imo. The lemon pepper as a unique flavor of a little sweetness plus that lemon kick. Really good! The medium is described as "is hot" and I'd say that it was the perfect amount of spice. Little sister got the mild medium boneless which were also a great flavor if you don't want a little kick of spicyness to them. We sat outside for dinner and it was super nice as they have fans directly above the outdoor tables. They also had trivia night happening. The waitress was very kind but wasn't around a whole lot however she was very kind. The parking lot gets filled up very quickly and they do have multiple parking spot locations. The signs are very helpful!

Bottom line up front - meh…read more I went here this afternoon after seeing this business highlighted this morning by my local TV station, FOX 13 - WTVT. This is a sports bar that apparently serves wings. And they are supposed to be "famous wings." We will see. It was about 1130 when we got there and I was surprised to see quite a few people already in the place, usually an indication that a place is good. The menu was not too big or too small, another good sign (to me anyway) that they have mastered a simpler menu. I ordered 10 wings, which are quite pricey at $18.49. I chose two flavors, "Hot" and "Spicy Garlic Parmesan." Their menu states that the hot is "very very hot." I can eat heat, so I expected "very very hot." They came out hot (just cooked) and about an average size. But nothing about them smelled like they were "very very hot." They were cooked well, meaning they weren't overcooked or undercooked. They come out unbreaded. I looked them over and one side had Parmesan cheese shreds and the other was also wet. But Spicy? No. The 5 wings that were suppose to be hot tasted like ordinary buffalo sauce with no heat to it. The 5 wings that were suppose to be Spicy Garlic Parmesan were not spicy or garlic flavored. You could taste the Parmesan, but that is it. What a disappointment. Since the server did not come back after the food arrived, there was zero chance to address this, even if I had wanted to. To be honest, I usually won't fight with the server to make something better. I feel that if I get something from the kitchen, that they made my food the way they always make that kind of food. So, my point is that they really suck at making wings with sauce on them. Since this is the first time I've been here, I can't say if this version of their wings is the norm, or a one off. But, I don't live in the immediate area and this is just an ordinary sports bar with mediocre wings, so I likely won't come back. Should you? If you have other options, I'd probably not go out of my way to come here. There are plenty of other places to try. If I was a local and looking for a sports bar, this might be worth a few more visits to see if anything else on the menu is worth it., and to watch sports. They have a ton of TVs and from where I sat I could see no less than 5 TVs. One last note. Charley, the wings at this place sucked. You should be ashamed. I trusted you.
