I arrived around 6:20pm and though the host sat me, I decided to take a stroll around the "neighborhood" since my date hadn't arrived yet. It was a lovely day, probably around 74º, shady skies with just enough sun. I walked around their back-side patio which was fully equipped with artificial turf, jumbo Jenga, plenty of seating picnic tables and had a huge projector screen for any prime-time game. There were also other eateries (outside bar, ice-cream station, and other restaurants) that accessed the same area. It was very inviting! I continued the walk and wrapped around the block to notice that the row of restaurants/bars were all home-themed. It was very college-like. I landed back in my seat and about 5mins later my friend arrived. We sat at the first two-top high-table near the bar close to the entrance. There were about 2 servers, a host and 2 bartenders to accompany the small crowd. We had a young man as a server and her treated us well. Neither of us had eaten there before so he provided us with a few recommendations but ultimately said, "ya can't go wrong." And he was right! We ordered the Crispy Chicken Sliders, Salt & Pepper Fries, Mango Thai Chili and the BBQ Honey Red Curry, both boneless (her suggestion). We chatted for what only seemed like a few minutes before our food arrived. Not going to lie, the appearance of the food wasn't mind-blowingly irresistible but it's not the looks that matters most. Normally I stay away from boneless wings because you don't know how thick the breading will be and the breading-to-sauce ratio is often never quite balanced but I was incredibly impressed at how juicy and proportionate the wings were! They each were a mouthful and tasted wonderfully. Even though they were both great, I think the Mango Chili may have won over the BBQ Curry. The sliders were about what you'd expect, a solid entrée but the bread was the best feature. The fries were as expected as well, very Buffalo Wild Wing -esque (with ranch). Overall, I spent $40 for two and still left with food in-hand, WELL worth it. We stuck around to watch the ending of Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semi-finals (Celtics vs Knicks) but really I was too stuffed to do much else. The backside patio is a vibe. It has covered seating, plenty of space and is very pet & child friendly. Establishments like this prove that you don't have to spend much to eat good and have a good time.

While it wasn't crowded, the atmosphere is indeed casual, relaxed, but somewhat noisy...we would have preferred a more quiet area. However, everything else about the place was as reported...wide variety of food choices on the menu, and our choices proved to be delicious. I had the Philly cheesesteak, and husband had the lasagna. He could only eat about a third of it as it was a very generous portion, meaty and saucy, just the way he likes his lasagna. My Philly was excellent; plenty of steak, also generous portion, huge! Meat was tender and juicy. The only ding Id give the sandwich was that it was a tad salty, so just be careful of that when cooking the steak. Our server was excellent, welcoming, polite and professional, and accommodating to my food allergy. He definitely earned his tip for the day. I asked the price for a miniature Bundt cake and I thought she said $2.50 it's 6 inches yall...so that's a good price. I made my selection of 2 cakes which look like 2 servings (one for me and one for hubby) when I checked out she said $21 for the cake. What you say???? I didn't hear correctly. I think that's too much for a miniature cake.. maybe it's just me. Nothing bundt cakes the miniature aren't even $10 a piece. So with my registered shock face, I asked her to put one back! The staff said they stop serving all the other items at 9 o'clock, aren't they open until 12:30am. My wife took a picture of one of the drumsticks in comparison to a catsup package wich was barely larger than it. When I tell you this was the smallest whole chicken ever! i mean without a dought the smallest whole chicken pieces i have ever bought. Absolutely disappointing experience.

After adding mustard, the burger improved a bit, but overall it still landed in the "average" category for me. The Oklahoma onion flavor profile I was expecting never really stood out, and the burger simply didn't have that memorable quality that makes you immediately want to come back for another round. My wife shared a similar opinion about her burger as well. We also tried the onion rings. Flavor-wise they were decent, but the portion size compared to the $6.99 price felt a bit hard to justify. For that price point, I expected either a larger serving or something more memorable. That said, I always try to keep perspective when reviewing local restaurants. Running a small business is not easy, and I genuinely want local places to succeed and improve. While this wasn't one of my stronger burger experiences in the OKC area, I still appreciate the effort, friendly service, and opportunity to give them a try.
