I think that their waffle fries are better than their regular fries because they are crunchy and their onion rings are cooked perfect. Their beers are always cold and served in an ice cold glass and they have a lot to offer on draft. Everything comes out quickly and always with the perfect temperature. He walked us through the menu, shared their most popular items, and really made us feel welcome. My husband and I like to try a little bit of everything, and he had his heart set on wings so we ordered the hot honey wings with a side of mac and a side of collard greens. He absolutely loved those wings. I was lucky to get even one bite because he cleaned the bones! The mac & cheese was also a big hit for him he wished he had more. The collard greens weren't his personal favorite, but I enjoyed them, and I know that can be more of an acquired taste. I ordered the fried conch with fries and a side of fried shrimp, plus the mystery drink because I was curious. The drink was delicious it reminded me of something sweet and fun you'd grab at the fair, so if you like sweeter drinks, I definitely recommend it. The conch was fried perfectly not overdone, no old oil tastes just crispy and really good. But the real star of the show was that lobster sauce. Pairing it with the fried conch and shrimp took the whole meal to another level. The shrimp were crunchy on the outside and tender inside, and everything just came together beautifully. I'm honestly still thinking about that lobster sauce and can't wait to come back for more. On top of the great food, the atmosphere was wonderful. Everyone was so friendly. We got to meet both the manager and the cook, and they genuinely cared about how we were enjoying our meal and if anything needed fixing which it didn't. Everything was perfect for us. We'll definitely be back soon. This place truly left a great impression on us.

The sliders were juicy and flavorful, and the fries were great for sharing. Simple bar food done really well. Service: The service was friendly and easygoing. Cariflex Sports Diner has Jamaican and Caribbean food in Kendall…read more This sports diner is exactly that! Located within what I'd describe as a warehouse park or plaza, you can find signage on their door and there are a lot of spots but this area actually gets pretty packed, so you may take a lil to find parking. Inside has dim lighting, a bar area, a lot of seating, TV displays everywhere, and a pool table. Came here to grab dinner before heading to Spanish Marie. We ordered the jerk chicken plate, honey wings, and fries. The wings were by far my favorite, and I'm actually a bit picky with wings so this was a win! This was my first time having jerk chicken and the rice and peas and it was just okay for me. This is what my partner usually gets here and he said that it tastes the same as when he used to come years ago so I think I'm just not a fan of the dish itself. Now what is wings without some fries? It's normal for me to get these two together, so I ended up ordering the cheese fries. Now cheese fries from a Caribbean place is not the norm and I have to say, there's probably a reason for that. They were not the taste I was expecting and we ended up not finishing them or taking them home. Other than that, the food was pretty good. Service was five stars! The gentleman that was helping us was super patient and helped answer all our questions of what things were on the menu. A nice spot to enjoy Jamaican & Caribbean food while watching sports in Kendall.
