Online ordering is truly not great but the staff was extremely accommodating after a pricing error when placing an online order. They weren't able to fix in advance because it was a scheduled order but they promised to throw in extra wings to make up for the price discrepancy. I wish I got the managers name because she was an absolute gem and SO sweet when trying to help! I know it wasn't the stores fault but the websites and she took care of it. EDIT: When going to pick up this scheduled order they forgot the extra wings and our food was ready 1hr after the scheduled pickup time. Absolute mess. It's truly a gamble coming to this location but what always seems to frustrate me is the staff. They are consistently rude and plastered with attitude that makes the environment extremely uncomfortable and tense. The line will build up extremely fast and there will be one bag done every 10-20 minutes for one simple order and whomever ordered that bag never comes to pick it up. I have sometimes peeked back and noticed that there are workers standing around and some are not even focused on what they are doing and/or they complete their work slowly and without any acknowledgment of the busy atmosphere that is behind them. Once the food is ready, which currently, I am waiting for, and it has been coming on an hour, it is pretty good quality. But at this point I don't know if it is worth it to come back to this location due to the incredibly short staffed and harsh environment. The workers will give you attitude if you are concerned as well. Very short tempered and they need to learn self control. Now, specifically, I was at this location with a friend of mine after our classes at Central Connecticut State University. A young girl was behind the counter calling another young girl to fight, and you may think, yes, she should be using her phone in case she needs help, but she had family there and they were all laughing along with her. Nice spot if you want some wings. This place has a very relaxed and casual vibe. Come as you are! I ordered the 8 piece wings which included a drink as well as fries. The flavors were garlic parmesan wings and lemon pepper. I thought they were ok. The lemon pepper could of used a little more seasoning. However I did like that they provide you with a good amount of dipping sauce for your wings. The service was great and the food didn't take long to get served. I am so conflicted writing this review. I wanted to leave two stars but I'll throw a third in because I love, love, LOVE Wingstop wings (Garlic Parmesan and Lemon Pepper, all flats, extra well done for me each and every time!). Lately, the service at the Hartford location has been lacking and the wings seem to be getting smaller and smaller (although they are still tasty as ever). I'm not sure if the service issues are due to new employees or if it's COVID-19 related, but the service leaves a LOT to be desired. It takes little effort to be kind to paying customers regardless of the rough location, as you attract more bees (or business!) with honey. Also, if I order online and receive an email confirmation that my food will be ready in a given timeframe, I don't expect to get my (now almost lukewarm) food 15 to 20 minutes after the end of the quoted time, especially when I live 25 minutes away, and with no explanation from the staff. Again, I chalk that up to lack of training or perhaps they just don't care. This is the third time I've had an issue at this particular Wingstop location (the last two times they simply forgot parts of our order and we didn't realize it until we were home). I hope they get it together soon because again, I really don't want to give up my favorite wings! Pro Tip: For those who can't decide between Garlic Parmesan and Lemon Pepper wings, Wingstop has brought back their Lemon Garlic flavor for a limited time which is a mix of both! On top of that, I was placing my largest Wing Stop order ever at 55 wings with 6 different sauces, some all drums, some all flats, with sides, dressing etc. hoping that they wouldn't screw up and then never hear the end of it. However, during this past Sunday I placed an order for nearly $200 in wings far in advance for a 5pm deliver. I didn't mind if it was late, since football was on and assumed it was busy. Have ordered from here a number of times, and the food has always been consistent and tasty. None of their wing flavors are what I'd call bad, so you can't really go wrong with any of the choices. Fries are good too - fairly generous and it has a hint of sugaryness, which is not something you usually expect from fries. I do like the expanded flavor variety from Buffalo Wild Wings since it allows a lot more mix and match, but they're much further away, so Wingstop being nearby will do just fine. read more

Unfortunately when I got home I found that some of the sauces I ordered weren't included. I should have checked right when I got the bag but didn't until I got home. Besides not getting some items I paid for the food was good. The Louisiana rub, garlic parm, and lemon pepper were mostly butter but the other sauces really good.
