This Wingstop location (as well as many others) is a pretty basic food spot and if you're craving wings & you live nearby, might satisfy your craving. In all honesty, I would not go out of my way to get Wingstop. At any location. For some reason, many people I know do crave Wingstop and prefer it over many Buffalo Wild Wings locations but to me, I would rather go to a bar / restaurant that specializes in wings (haha). The person loading the food cleaned something on the floor, didn't have gloves (nor did anyone in the back preparing food). This person wiped the floor with a wet paper towel, threw the towel away and went back to loading food.. yuck. Although it wasn't busy inside, there seem to only have been two workers and a bunch of online orders. a lot of people were waiting for their food including my boyfriend and I. We ordered the 15 piece chicken wing meal for 2 including the large fries and 2 drinks. We didn't mind waiting because it appeared to be a busy night with hangry people waiting and coming in. The online ordering process was easy to use and I liked how you could switch off the flavors/sauces for the amount in each order. You can also choose to have your wings cooked "well done" here which we like because it makes them extra crispy! I got five medium honey barbecue wings and five of the Cajun ones, all boneless. I was actually really impressed with the quality of the meat. The meat was juicy, cooked well, and the Cajun flavor was hands-down my favorite. You have to dip them in ranch though for the best combo so make sure you have some nearby ;) The employees were working really hard here, because of how fast our order was done! My husband said that everyone in the store picking up to go orders were standing more than 6 feet away from each other and the employees were wearing gloves. Definitely great to hear about those sanitary practices during this time. Overall we're surprised why the reviews are so low here. I've tried this Wing Stop location twice and I was disappointed. I asked for the wings to be extra, extra well done, in some restaurants the terminology is fried hard so that the skin is extra crunchy and the inside won't be slimy, fatty and slippery. The wings weren't cooked fried hard and I was pulling off loose skin, fat and slime to get the meat. I ordered went at Wing Stop and went to get Chinese food a few doors down, came back, in total I waited 30 minutes and they weren't cooked properly. I don't think they followed the request at all. Worst wings ever. Their cooks should check out a few of the local all chicken places to see what fried hard means. The skin on the wings and all the slime in wings can take a lot of heat and can be cooked a long time to achieve a crispier texture. I know they want to get food and customers in and out quickly, but if customers prefer hard that's how they want them. I'll put the wings in the broiler to get the texture right tomorrow, I'm pooped tonight and luckily I had chinese food, so I at least ate tonight. Stopped in on a Tuesday night about forty mins before they closed. I had phoned in my order so I could expedite my ride home. I got there about ten mins after I ordered, my order wasn't ready but another four mins or so and I was on my way home. The restaurant is wide open, modern looking with tvs all along the walls. The sauces are amazing, the sweet heat from the mango habenero over powered the flavor of the hickory bbq. But it was well worth it. The fries appear to be hand cut and they are delicious. Had the absolute worst experience at this location . The "manager" Jesus smelled like alcohol , was also slurring his words and looked drunk so unprofessional. Waited extra 20 mins for my online order that was supposed to be ready. This defeats the purposes of online ordering. Also The cashier is walking around with no hat or hair net and handling food and money without washing her hands. which is very unsanitary And you can clearly hear the employees discussing me very rudely in the back. This is blatantly FALSE ADVERTISING and unprofessional, and I wonder how many other customers got tricked by this sign.
