Everyone he does surgery on needs a second or third surgery. He does something while doing surgery…read moreso that you will have to have another one. He is a cash cow for your insurance. Everyone I met while doing physical therapy had to have a second surgery. Every patient had to have a second surgery. My carpal Tunnel surgery hand Hurst worse since I had surgery I'm sure he did something so that I would need another surgery. Find another doctor.

I broke my wrist earlier this year. After going to St. Mary's ER, the doctor said I needed surgery…read moreand referred me to Dr. Pathi. Dr. Pathi assured me that my wrist would be "100 %" after surgery and physical therapy. This could not be further from the truth. He completed my surgery incorrectly and disfigured my wrist. I needed a plate and screws, he put them on top of my wrist, they should have been underneath. I needed bone grafting, he said he did that, I'm not to sure that he did. My wrist was dislocated from my hand and was starting to veer to the left. He offered to do a second surgery to remove the plate and screws and to shave the bone down on my wrist KNOWING IT WAS WRONG! SEE ATTACHED PHOTOS! If I could post my phone number to help YOU. I would. I went through so much pain both physically and mentally with the surgery that he did. I consulted two other very competent surgeons that specialize in the hand and wrist and they were both astonished at how my wrist looked. I chose one of those surgeons, and TWO SURGERYS LATER, my wrist is on it's way to recovering the correct way. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this surgeon. He is incompetent of doing invasive surgery's. Last but not least, his office staff is rude. I was told I couldn't have a copy of MY x-rays because of HIPA laws. THEY'RE MY X-RAYS! I asked for a copy of the paperwork that I had filled out and signed. No response. The customer service with his staff and the incomitance of Dr. Pathi himself is shocking to say the least. If you need a competent surgeon for upper extremities (hand to shoulder), call Dr. Rose in Newport Beach. He is amazing.

I was in the hospital for a surgery and I needed help with the door and other staff passed by and he walked by and said a quick hi and he asked me if I needed help? And I said yes please and he helped me with that and I said thank you!! And he replied no problem or something.. he's very nice and he's always professional and he puts his patients at ease and he is always joking. I really wish he was practicing. He's a great doctor!!

DR PAUL STANTON didn't do anything for me. He had my MRI which showed bone spurs, no cartilage,…read more etc. He showed me the bone spur and I confirmed the antiinflamitory meds I was taking. Then just told me to lose weight, walk and swim for exercise. The reason I was there was because I couldn't walk very good to start with since I had bad knees. I had previously already lost 45 pounds. The doctor seemed like he didn't believe me. He told me to wear my brace and exercise. Going to this doctor was a waste of time. He didn't do anything to help me. I know I need to lose weight, but I know he has seen other people bigger than me. My weight may put pressure on my knees, but is not the reason for my bad knees. It will help to lose weight, but will not fix the problem. I asked for an appointment summary and was told the next day I could pick it up. I went the next day and was told it takes 2 to 3 days. I came back, it still wasn't ready. I came back a week after my appointment and I still don't have it. He did nothing for me, told me nothing new. This was a big waste of time. I will be going to get a 2nd opinion. Hopefully find a doctor that can help my knees.

I recently visited the High Desert Foot and Ankle Clinic and wanted to share what my experience was…read morelike. Parking at the clinic was a little tricky. I realized there were two parking lots available: the larger lot in the back of the building and a smaller one closer to the entrance. If possible, try to park in the smaller lot near the entrance for easier access. Please note that the larger lot had a gate that said it closed at 7 PM. The sign said, if you find yourself locked in after hours, you will need to call the listed number, incurring a $100 fee to exit. This is good to know, especially if your appointment is later in the day. Additionally, a few other businesses within the medical center allow their customers to use available parking spots. The entrance appeared to be accessible for walkers and wheelchairs, but I'm not sure about the width of the door. Upon entering, I could hear the gurgle of the aquarium. The receptionist was behind a plexiglass barrier and provided a tablet for the check-in process. It involved answering questions on the tablet and completing a few paper forms outlining administrative details, including potential late and cancellation fees. I arrived at 3:00 PM for a 3:15 PM appointment and wasn't seen until 3:50 PM. This office uses Klara, a system for communicating with the office before the appointment, and then also uses a patient portal, once the patient has an established doctor visit. Communication using the Klara system was interesting. I was unable to upload the DICOM files containing the images of my previous X-rays from a different doctor's office, and asked the representative if I should bring anything else. She said, "that would be all thank you!" To me, that sounded like the end of the conversation, that everything was fine. When I arrived, I was asked if I had the X-rays. Regarding the clinical environment, the facility appeared to be an older building with some visible maintenance needs. I was able to get new X-rays done in-office the same day. When we went to the X-ray room, I observed debris on the X-ray plate and requested a cleaning before use, which the assistant performed. Ultimately, the high-speed nature of this clinic and the level of facility upkeep were not a match for my personal preferences. While the doctor was clinically knowledgeable and provided me with a stretching handout and a review of my in-office X-rays, the communication style of some of the support staff was quite brusque and felt hurried. It raised my blood pressure and really annoyed me. It made my visit feel overall unpleasant. It's possible that some of the staff were having a bad day. Everyone has those. The "talked at" communication style wasn't the right fit for me.
