Active Care Chiropractic is truly a five-star office. From the moment you walk in, the staff greets you by name and makes you feel incredibly welcome. They are always so friendly and accommodating, especially when it comes to schedule changes, which I really appreciate. The entire team is simply amazing. Dr. Sara and Dr. Madori are both extremely knowledgeable and provide excellent chiropractic care. I originally came to them when my quality of life had significantly decreased due to severe lower back pain. Through their treatment plan, my pain has improved tremendously and my overall quality of life has increased. I would absolutely recommend Active Care Chiropractic to anyone experiencing similar pain or looking for a caring and professional chiropractic team. read more

I had an appointment scheduled and they canceled it because I arrived 8 minutes late. No warning, no flexibility. At most medical, dental, or even eyelash appointments, there's usually a 15-minute grace period -- not here. Apparently their grace period is 8 minutes, and they don't even bother to tell you that upfront. It was already difficult to get this appointment, and I had been in serious pain for over a week, but they seemed more concerned about being 8-10 minutes late than helping someone who was clearly hurting. I immediately called another chiropractor's office and had no issues at all. They actually allow a reasonable grace period and, unsurprisingly, have much better reviews. That alone says a lot. Would not recommend if you expect understanding or basic flexibility. read more

Dr Sara and her staff are very kind. But the office feels gimmicky and I feel like I was being swindled, and on the way to be taken advantage of. The costs of services here vs at another chiropractor I've see as a cash pay patient are included, not extra as they are here. This is just my honest opinion and feelings. read more

******UPDATE!!! Dr. Sara, I am not sure why you are offering two free visits when I already asked you to do the adjustments that are covered by my insurance and you told me..... AND I REPEAT "Sure, but it won't work and you will need a lot of ice, because you will be in more pain." Please answer why, when you are telling me it be won't work and I will be in more pain, knowing full well I am in severe pain day and night, would you offer me two free services??? I went to this business because I have serious issues with my back and it was on the list through Kaiser. Dr. Sara took two visits to tell me that she thought she could really help me and she could relieve me of 95 percent of my pain. I cried because I have had severe pain in my back for over 20 years and for the first time I had hope of being almost pain free. I asked her how much my copay's are and she told me $10. On the next visit she told me that it would cost me $5400 to do this, because the fancy machinery that would fix my back was not covered by Kaiser. I said I do not have that kind of money, can we just do what is covered by my insurance? She said sure but it won't work and you will need a lot of ice, because you will be in more pain. I was devastated, crying and went to the front to pay my copay. I was waiting for another patient and she said you do not need to pay the copay. I said thank you and left. Fast forward over two months and Kaiser sends me a bill today for the $10 copay. Not only did she waste my time, she lied to my insurance saying I didn't pay my copay when she told me I didn't have to pay. I will pay it, that is not the issue. She needs to do what she says she is going to do and not lie!!! If I could rate it zero stars I would but that does not give me the option. I was not going to do anything about my experience but now I will be filing a grievance through Kaiser. I believe they should know who they are outsourcing their patients to and I see another review where another patient had a similar experience so I know I am not alone! read more

I have been dealing with horrible back and hip problems for many years and it was only getting worse. I have been coming here since February, and I have noticed a big difference. Since I started coming here I noticed that I still have some pain, but I can now walk and move around with little to no leg and hip pain. I also take less breaks when going out. Dr Sara and her whole staff have made me feel very comfortable since day one. They are all very friendly and I love coming here. I highly recommend coming here to find out what they can do to help you with any pain issues you may have. Or at least come for adjustments, they feel fantastic lol. read more

I came to Dr. Sara with very limited mobility in my right arm and shoulder. After treatments, I now have complete mobility. Of course, I will have some follow up appointments to ensure I continue to have mobility. I'm so happy with the results and would recommend Active Care Chiropractic to everyone. read more

They really do mean it when they want everyone to live a pain free life! I had never been adjusted or to a chiropractor but as a teacher, I definitely needed it and was recommended to this specific place by other teachers. My sciatica was giving me major issues to the point I couldn't even stand sometimes after laying or sitting down for long periods. After a couple session I started to see a huge difference and especially noticed it when I started the school year and wasn't in as excruciating pain as I normally was. I can't tell you how good it feels to not be in pain. You live with it and tell yourself it's just "getting old" but you can live pain free. As for the staff and Dr. Sara, they are truly wonderful people and so friendly. I am so grateful to them. read more

I've been seeing Dr.Madori and she has helped my neck pain so much I also felt a lot of pressure and tightness at the bottom of my skull and she helped me with that, staff is friendly and nice read more

Cranial facial release with Dr. Sara Griffin at Active Care Chiropractic improved my health dramatically. She moved the bones in my skull by inserting and inflating 6 balloons in my sinus passages (3 on each side). My 12 treatments included full body chiropractic adjustments and laser treatments on my sinuses to prevent inflammation. After one treatment, my face was more symmetrical. Before my treatment, my nose and mouth tipped to the left, and my cheek bones were not even. Dr. Sara took a before and after picture. Cranial facial release hydrated and opened my dry congested sinuses bringing more oxygen into my body, and the flow of spinal fluid increased. After the 9th treatment, my pineal gland and brain were activated, and I had pleasant sensations throughout my brain. Melatonin, serotonin and other hormones were released bringing better, deeper sleep and other health benefits. Dr. Sara recovered from sleep apnea with cranial facial release. Some people get improvements in vision. My treatment improved my health in ways that I cannot explain. I paid $2400 for 12 cranial facial release treatments. These treatments were life changing. read more

Dr. Sara Griffin is amazing. I unfortunately had a bad experience with a chiropractor and never really trusted them. That was until I started waking up in constant neck pains and was recommended by my sister to seek out Dr. Griffin. I'll be honest I was a bit nervous and during my initial assessment, but she was very caring and I explained the reasons why I was in pain and created a plan to help me. Almost a year later and I no longer feel the constant neck pains and I wake up refreshed. I still get nervous when it comes to adjustments, but Dr. Griffin always has a caring and fun personality which helps when dealing with the anxiety i get. I wouldn't do her justice if I didn't talk about how amazing Dr. Midori and the rest of the staff are and how friendly they were when I first started coming in for treatments. All I can say is thank you Dr. Griffin for helping me and getting me back to being 100% again!!!! read more

Professional and kind. Dr. Griffin is efficient and amazing. She is strong and is healing my body.

Friendly staff! The ladies in the office were very kind and welcoming. They even gave my 7 year old a sticker and complimented her on her politeness. As for Doctor Sara, she was not as friendly as I remember her being. (Haven't been there in a while). I didn't feel comfortable with her, and she seemed to be rushing to get me out. When she asked me how long I had been experiencing pain, I mentioned it had been a while, and I recently had an MRI done. She then responded after rolling her eyes, "You didn't answer my question as to how long you have been feeling pain." Yes, I probably should have responded with an exact date, but I honestly could not remember how long it has been. As previously mentioned, after her response, I felt really uncomfortable, and I didn't really want to have much conversation with her. I was very sort and probably not as friendly either. I'm super disappointed. Who knows, maybe it was just one of those days....but I'm pretty bummed since I'm not sure where else to go for an adjustment. read more

Let me start off with a shout out.Sarah, Abby, Kat..Thank you so much! First time at a chiropractor and it has to be the best decision of my life. Didn't have insurance and it was worth every penny. I am very grateful for the care my Chiropractor. Dr. Sara has given me for the relief of back pain and much discomfort with my neck and mid back. I love Dr. Sara so much. She genuinely listens and wants to help. I've been going here for almost two years now. They do take medical insurance so just stop by and see what your insurance covers! This is the best place to go up in the high desert. My entire family goes to her and I don't think I'll ever trust anyone else. For anyone with knee problems I've had two knee surgeries and she really helps me by adjusting them, smoothing out scar tissue, and laser therapy. They also have really good massage therapy. I really feel welcomed here, everyone knows my name. They always do a great job! Once you do paperwork everything goes smoothly and appointments are easily made. They also have text reminders for appts which I really like. Almost every first Saturday of the month they have appts too so check that out! read more

I have been going to them for a good minute and they have always been great. I love the open floor concept and the level to which they ask all the right questions in my book. Dr. Griffin got my x-rays and is deep diving to see why I have pain when everything looks good on top layer. I am grateful to have a doctor that cares about me as a person not as an insurance claim. Well today I came out therapy to find out I had a flat tire. The therapist came outside and checked on me, changed my tires and changed out the flat. Offered to make sure I made it home okay. This way above and beyond the level of service that any medical establishment has shown me. I highly recommend them!!!!! read more

I'm new to the high desert and I was impressed with Dr. Sara. My lower back was killing me! I moved to the high desert a year ago and I didn't know where to go so I came here and she fixed all my problems. She did a great job. Will be coming back! read more

I have been going here for about 6 months. The process to start was easy and the receptionists are always friendly and helpful. Dr. Sara has been professional and punctual. My first appointment she took the time to figure out what was going on and set me up on a game plan that has worked. I have to admit I was skeptical because I had never been to a chiropractor but had back issues for years. I never feel rushed and she is always on time for my appointment and kind. I will continue to go because I have not felt this much back relief in many years. I also like how I never feel pressured like they are trying to nickel and dime me to get more services. The care is great and I highly recommend. read more

I stopped in to Dr. Griffin's quite unexpectedly. I was getting my car windows tinted in the same mini-mall, and had some time to wait. I remembered that I'd been intending to get my tight jaw and neck muscles worked on, and Dr. Griffin's window indicated that the massage therapist on site was likely to be very professional. So I stepped in. That therapist, it turned out, was on pregnancy leave, but another named Shelly was filling in for her. I asked to speak with her; sat down with Shelly; went over what I needed; and compared notes on our backgrounds in massage and philosophies. Shelly was a perfect match! She has the same sort of analytical approach to massage as I do myself, is well trained; and that makes her a perfect complement for a chiropractor's office. We just did a thirty-minute session the first time, but it resulted in a great improvement in the muscular tenstion in the jaw area, increased jaw opening, and other positive results. So I have an hour session scheduled for this Friday, and will likely continue to see Shelly semi-regularly. The office is a nice, pristinely clean facility. I didn't observe the chiropractic treatment rooms or equipment, but Shelly's massage room (which she had just cleaned) was very relaxing and quiet. I only briefly spoke with Dr. Griffin herself, but the practice overall seems very competent and organized. read more

Phenomenal care, I've been a patient for 9+ years and trust Dr. Sara with my back and overall health implicitly. Great massage care too!

Best Chiropractor in the HD!!! Never fails to make you feel better and gives great advise on how to help yourself at home.

I'm very disappointed on how unprofessional this business is. They called a day before to cancel my Saturday appointment and reschedule me for the following week same time at 9am. I show up today, Saturday at 9am, and the parking lot is empty. Get your business together or look at your calendar I'm very upset because I've waited two weeks now.
