I had an appointment scheduled and they canceled it because I arrived 8 minutes late. No warning, no flexibility. At most medical, dental, or even eyelash appointments, there's usually a 15-minute grace period -- not here. Apparently their grace period is 8 minutes, and they don't even bother to tell you that upfront. It was already difficult to get this appointment, and I had been in serious pain for over a week, but they seemed more concerned about being 8-10 minutes late than helping someone who was clearly hurting. I immediately called another chiropractor's office and had no issues at all. They actually allow a reasonable grace period and, unsurprisingly, have much better reviews. That alone says a lot. Would not recommend if you expect understanding or basic flexibility. read more

******UPDATE!!! Dr. Sara, I am not sure why you are offering two free visits when I already asked you to do the adjustments that are covered by my insurance and you told me..... AND I REPEAT "Sure, but it won't work and you will need a lot of ice, because you will be in more pain." Please answer why, when you are telling me it be won't work and I will be in more pain, knowing full well I am in severe pain day and night, would you offer me two free services??? I went to this business because I have serious issues with my back and it was on the list through Kaiser. Dr. Sara took two visits to tell me that she thought she could really help me and she could relieve me of 95 percent of my pain. I cried because I have had severe pain in my back for over 20 years and for the first time I had hope of being almost pain free. I asked her how much my copay's are and she told me $10. On the next visit she told me that it would cost me $5400 to do this, because the fancy machinery that would fix my back was not covered by Kaiser. I said I do not have that kind of money, can we just do what is covered by my insurance? She said sure but it won't work and you will need a lot of ice, because you will be in more pain. I was devastated, crying and went to the front to pay my copay. I was waiting for another patient and she said you do not need to pay the copay. I said thank you and left. Fast forward over two months and Kaiser sends me a bill today for the $10 copay. Not only did she waste my time, she lied to my insurance saying I didn't pay my copay when she told me I didn't have to pay. I will pay it, that is not the issue. She needs to do what she says she is going to do and not lie!!! If I could rate it zero stars I would but that does not give me the option. I was not going to do anything about my experience but now I will be filing a grievance through Kaiser. I believe they should know who they are outsourcing their patients to and I see another review where another patient had a similar experience so I know I am not alone! read more

They really do mean it when they want everyone to live a pain free life! I had never been adjusted or to a chiropractor but as a teacher, I definitely needed it and was recommended to this specific place by other teachers. Dr. Sara Griffin is amazing. I unfortunately had a bad experience with a chiropractor and never really trusted them. That was until I started waking up in constant neck pains and was recommended by my sister to seek out Dr. Griffin. I'll be honest I was a bit nervous and during my initial assessment, but she was very caring and I explained the reasons why I was in pain and created a plan to help me. Almost a year later and I no longer feel the constant neck pains and I wake up refreshed. Friendly staff! The ladies in the office were very kind and welcoming. They even gave my 7 year old a sticker and complimented her on her politeness. As for Doctor Sara, she was not as friendly as I remember her being. (Haven't been there in a while). I didn't feel comfortable with her, and she seemed to be rushing to get me out. When she asked me how long I had been experiencing pain, I mentioned it had been a while, and I recently had an MRI done. She then responded after rolling her eyes, "You didn't answer my question as to how long you have been feeling pain." Yes, I probably should have responded with an exact date, but I honestly could not remember how long it has been. As previously mentioned, after her response, I felt really uncomfortable, and I didn't really want to have much conversation with her. I was very sort and probably not as friendly either. Dr Sarah and her team have been so great! Right after Christmas I went in and was having such horrible knee problems. I thought for sure if have to have surgery again because it hurt so bad to walk. She recommended a new treatment they were doing called shock wave. I stopped in to Dr. Griffin's quite unexpectedly. I was getting my car windows tinted in the same mini-mall, and had some time to wait. I remembered that I'd been intending to get my tight jaw and neck muscles worked on, and Dr. Griffin's window indicated that the massage therapist on site was likely to be very professional. So I stepped in. That therapist, it turned out, was on pregnancy leave, but another named Shelly was filling in for her. I asked to speak with her; sat down with Shelly; went over what I needed; and compared notes on our backgrounds in massage and philosophies. Shelly was a perfect match! She has the same sort of analytical approach to massage as I do myself, is well trained; and that makes her a perfect complement for a chiropractor's office. We just did a thirty-minute session the first time, but it resulted in a great improvement in the muscular tenstion in the jaw area, increased jaw opening, and other positive results. So I have an hour session scheduled for this Friday, and will likely continue to see Shelly semi-regularly. The office is a nice, pristinely clean facility. I didn't observe the chiropractic treatment rooms or equipment, but Shelly's massage room (which she had just cleaned) was very relaxing and quiet. I only briefly spoke with Dr. Griffin herself, but the practice overall seems very competent and organized. read more
