The next day this bastard Dr Liu came in and I was sedated and when I can to he told both my husband and I that I would need to go to Loma Linda for surgery that he just couldn't do it. We'll from Barstow Hospital he sent me to a nightmare aftercare called Spring Valley Acute Care and I'll tell you more about that hell hole in a bit. Well so I have 2 broken ankles and he put splints on them. So I'm in this pig pen aftercare and we kept calling his office to get me transferred to Loma Linda and I would leave message after message with his staff and not get a call or anything from this bastard. Close to 2 weeks in this hell hole I'm told I had an appointment with Dr. Liu....ummmmm why? To bilk my insurance? I didn't need to see him anymore but I went so I could ask him what his problem was. My appointment was around 2:00 pm This SOB left me sitting in the waiting room in a wheelchair until pretty much closing and then saw me. At that time I told him the splint on my right foot had a sharp piece that dug into the side of my food and I had a Hugh gaping sore. Then I asked him what the problem was and why was I not being transferred. At this point he exits the room to go home and under his breath he says in about 2 weeks. That son of a bitch let me lay around for over a month with broken ankles because insurance only pays for 20 day stay at this aftercare. We had to arrange for a hospital bed here at home and I finally got to Loma Linda. The doctors there were appalled at this doctor and admitted right there and canceled there other surgeries to get me in first thing in the morning. I believe in KARMA and one day something is going to happen to you or a loved one so remember how you've treated others. KARMA is a bitch and that why I'm kind to everyone be ause I've experienced KARMA. I've decided after all these years to contact the medical board. It might be past the limit but at least someone there will read it and STOP sending me the f***ing $16.00 bill. Kiss my ass! I also found out through employee at Spring Valley Acute Care that you send ALL your patients there and they send ALL theirs to you....humm.. To top it off I caught the lovely infection C-Diff there! Nope wasn't on ANY antibiotics nor had I been. Filthy dirty nasty place. Their ssupposed to bathe you twice a week. I got 3 baths from there disgusting employees there entire time there. Thank God for my husband that would come in and bathe me doing the employee job. The food there isn't fit for my dogs and I don't even think anything starving stray dog would eat it. Your a disgusting human being and I say " human being lightly....your a monster! All your into is lining your pockets and I'm praying to my God to handle you and your greed and callousness towards others. Then just told me to lose weight, walk and swim for exercise. The reason I was there was because I couldn't walk very good to start with since I had bad knees. I had previously already lost 45 pounds. The doctor seemed like he didn't believe me. He told me to wear my brace and exercise. Going to this doctor was a waste of time. He didn't do anything to help me. I know I need to lose weight, but I know he has seen other people bigger than me. My weight may put pressure on my knees, but is not the reason for my bad knees. It will help to lose weight, but will not fix the problem. I asked for an appointment summary and was told the next day I could pick it up. I went the next day and was told it takes 2 to 3 days. I came back, it still wasn't ready. I came back a week after my appointment and I still don't have it. He did nothing for me, told me nothing new. This was a big waste of time. I will be going to get a 2nd opinion. Hopefully find a doctor that can help my knees.

Dr Kelekar did such a fabulous surgery on his arm. He followed his complete advise on the physical therapy after, plus did additional exercises & his arm recovered fully. Since his arm turned out so wonderful, he chose to have Dr Kelekar for a long needed surgery on a torn Anterior Cruciate Ligament in his knee, that had been giving him problems for years. He was once again extremely happy with Dr Kelekar, the surgery on his knee & the results after. We would definitely recommend Dr Dilip Kelekar to anyone!

I recently visited the High Desert Foot and Ankle Clinic and wanted to share what my experience was…read morelike. Parking at the clinic was a little tricky. I realized there were two parking lots available: the larger lot in the back of the building and a smaller one closer to the entrance. If possible, try to park in the smaller lot near the entrance for easier access. Please note that the larger lot had a gate that said it closed at 7 PM. The sign said, if you find yourself locked in after hours, you will need to call the listed number, incurring a $100 fee to exit. This is good to know, especially if your appointment is later in the day. Additionally, a few other businesses within the medical center allow their customers to use available parking spots. The entrance appeared to be accessible for walkers and wheelchairs, but I'm not sure about the width of the door. Upon entering, I could hear the gurgle of the aquarium. The receptionist was behind a plexiglass barrier and provided a tablet for the check-in process. It involved answering questions on the tablet and completing a few paper forms outlining administrative details, including potential late and cancellation fees. I arrived at 3:00 PM for a 3:15 PM appointment and wasn't seen until 3:50 PM. This office uses Klara, a system for communicating with the office before the appointment, and then also uses a patient portal, once the patient has an established doctor visit. Communication using the Klara system was interesting. I was unable to upload the DICOM files containing the images of my previous X-rays from a different doctor's office, and asked the representative if I should bring anything else. She said, "that would be all thank you!" To me, that sounded like the end of the conversation, that everything was fine. When I arrived, I was asked if I had the X-rays. Regarding the clinical environment, the facility appeared to be an older building with some visible maintenance needs. I was able to get new X-rays done in-office the same day. When we went to the X-ray room, I observed debris on the X-ray plate and requested a cleaning before use, which the assistant performed. Ultimately, the high-speed nature of this clinic and the level of facility upkeep were not a match for my personal preferences. While the doctor was clinically knowledgeable and provided me with a stretching handout and a review of my in-office X-rays, the communication style of some of the support staff was quite brusque and felt hurried. It raised my blood pressure and really annoyed me. It made my visit feel overall unpleasant. It's possible that some of the staff were having a bad day. Everyone has those. The "talked at" communication style wasn't the right fit for me.

I was in so much pain for a week, and their office ignored my pleas for pain meds. Unless you reschedule a week in advance, they will count it as an absence because I would call 24 hours before my appointment and cancel. They would still count it and eventually told me I was kicked out right before I was supposed to have surgery. So, I can no longer go to this doctor due to their screwups. Probably better off.
