I rarely write a review especially a negative one. Unfortunately, this can not go on any longer!…read more The office staff here has absolutely, no understanding of the term "Customer Service". In the past we did not have any issues with maintenance or the office staff. Now they are quick to say what you want to hear with ABSOLUTELY NO FOLLOW UP & EXCUSE AFTER EXCUSE why they can not fix or address your issue. Luxury apartments....???? We are FED UP !!!!!!!!!

Before picking this apartment over others, we obviously looked at the reviews. The way they respond…read moreto reviews make it seem like they were fake, implying that "Your name is not in our records" or "you were made aware" in a very crass way. But no. This place is the worst place i've ever lived in my life. This is a fake name so they won't treat us differently, since we are stuck in a 12 month lease. As soon as we got there there we were greeted by filth. dead flies, centipedes and roaches, dirty baseboards, and a moldy washer. The dishwasher reeked when we first ran it, now we wash dishes by hand. They assured us they had it cleaned TWO times, but obviously not. The toilet handle broke off the first flush. They did not hookup the washer completely and when we ran it the first time it flooded the laundry room. Speaking of, we've had to call maintenance to get IN to our laundry room since the washer shakes so bad that it blocks the door. Roaches, gnats, centipedes, flies, fleas, and bed bugs are all included in this Luxury apartment, Thankfully for free! Since you'll pay a hefty $1,650 to live here at the minimum. Don't expect to use your patio or balcony if you care about roaches coming in. We got a brand new mattress when we moved in, it has been about a month and we have been waking up with red itchy welts all over our bodies. We pulled off the sheets and in horror there are rusty colored stains all over our mattress from squashed bed bugs. We have since evacuated the apartment until we can get pest control here tomorrow. This shouldn't be the tenants burden, this should've been addressed BEFORE they listed availability. They don't take care of trash. There is currently a huge dumpster blocking the compactor entrance that is already full. It genuinely seems like they don't know how to run a complex. The maintenance staff are generally nice, The true problem is the property manager, and It seems like there's only one for a such large complex. This apartment is a nightmare, and is both emotionally and physically draining to live in. There's always something going on, cut gutter pipes blocking off parking spots, mismanaged repaving, stray cats that if you feed they will threaten a lease violation. There is too much to even put down in a review that's already essay length. This isn't even a safe place for us to sleep in right now, and that says a lot if you're looking for a place to live.

I've been living here since June of 2019. Here are the pros and cons…read more.. Pros - Their curb appeal is SPECTACULAR. Everyone who comes to visit are low-key intimidated that I live in such a beautiful gated community lol ... I will have to give credit to their maintenance staff who work so damn hard. I mean ... EVERY DAY... Every service request I put in for help with something... they really try so hard. I give them BIG KUDOS. The leasing office staff are really nice. I had to ask a couple of times to get help with a few things. But overall they are super nice. Surrounding locations fine, access to decent retail selections and close to the freeway. Cool. Cons - DO NOT SIGN A LEASE UNTIL YOU SEE THE ACTUAL APARTMENT YOU WANT. Do NOT just look at the model. That model ... maaaaaan... That model tour had me in deep fear of losing the chance to live here. I was sold out for IT like I am sold out for Jesus! However... When I got my ACTUAL unit... I was psst... The walk way to the apartment ... ok... honestly, people are trash... but... ALSO I need a bigger budget going to the maintenance crew to power wash the walk ways MONTHLY... hell... weekly... The bugs... the thorn in my side. The beasts of my burdens... Look... trust me on this. And before I go on - I will insert that I am frightened of bugs - I learned SWIFTLY that Georgia is on some bullshit when it comes to their bugs (I'm from California). HOWEVER.... HOW-AND-SO-EVER ... These bugs find some way to get into my apartment. And PERSONALLY... I think MAA needs to come and seal up every crack in every damn part of these buildings cause there is NO WAY they ... look... I went back to California on business for 2 months. I came back and found 6 of them palmetto son-of-a-snitches dead of heat stroke all over my apartment. How? HOW? Every window and door closed air TIGHT... and yet... AND YET... they got in and died on my good good carpet? *woo saaaaa* Who ever MAA hire to paint and clean their apartments: FIRE THEM. Fire them RIGHT NOW. Poor paint job and they did NOT clean my apartment. The maintenance crew ended up having to do 90% of the work I put on my 4 page walk through inspection papers. Ok... that's all I got. Hope this help others looking for a place to live.

This place is for you if you: enjoy the…read morequiet, don't mind kids playing outside (but not running around the streets), and not being bothered. I also feel extremely safe here. I have asked for apt. assistance 3 times, and all 3 times they were extremely prompt and quick to re-mediate the situation. All the floor plans are very spacious and clean. Lots of parking space. Amenities are alright. I am very happy here! The only cons I can think of (and I really have to rack my brain to come up with any) are: -Twice I had heard neighbors while trying to sleep (the noises died down after a few minutes) -Many dog owners do not pick up after their dogs, (however, you don't really notice it unless you're deliberately walking in the grass. I didn't even notice until two months ago!) -I did experience a bug problem (carpet bug), and that was fixed the day I sent a report to the office! :) -Sometimes the gate is broken. You should come in for a visit if you don't believe me; but what you see is exactly what you get - no facades here.

I lived here and hated it from day 1. I am a professional with no money troubles (so this lead to…read moreno falsified complaints on my part) who expected a nice place to live while looking for a house (just moved to the area). The office staff was rude and argued with me on THE DAY WE MOVED IN. I should have known then what I was in for. 1) Our dryer never worked (brand new) and they refused to come clean the vent. We had to dry clothes 4-5 times. This means it takes all day to do ONE load. 2) The roaches were so bad you could hear them flying around and slamming into the walls at night after you turned the lights out. We had them on us in bed at night, and I would kill 4-5 a day! After calling every week to have them spray, we were told that "you can't live in the south without seeing roaches. Seriously? I have lived in the south my entire life and never, never, never had roaches. 3) Our air conditioner NEVER worked. It would run 24/7 and never keep the apartment below 84 in the summer. The air conditioner also leaked. I had to put the largest pot I had under it and empty it several times a day (sometimes getting up at night to do so). Was that my responsibility??? This took more than a month to fix. 4) Our refrigerator leaked in the floor. They could not find what was wrong with it and closed the work order with no actions. I had to mop it up repeatedly. When the AC was paired with the repeated drying of our clothes...our electricity bill was over the top! Horrible. 5) We had a leak in the ceiling over our bed when it rained and had to call three times to get a response. The leak was eventually fixed, but the stains were never covered (very very large and dark). 6) The whole building had mold problems because the roof had pulled away from the siding and brick as the building settled. Two of our neighbors had children that had to be put on breathing treatments and my son had difficulty breathing as well (completely cleared after moving). 7) There is no sound-proofing between the floors. This means that when your neighbors above you pee, you can hear it! Imagine what children playing and running around sounds like? Our pictures, dishes and walls constantly shook. Our children could not sleep and when people visited they thought we were having a thunderstorm. This place is the epitome of CHEAP construction. 8) You will need to use a large bath towel to wipe out the water filled windowsills every morning during the winter. Even if you do this, you will still get mold. I wiped the windows each morning (probably removing 1-2 cups of water) and then had to bleach the sills once a week. This is a lot of work. 9) No one picks up after their dogs. There is poop everywhere. 10) The playground has broken glass (beer bottles) in the mulch. 11) I saw rats on more than one occasion when walking my dog after dark. RATS! They would be dead on the roads after being hit by cars. 12) The trash compactor breaks down all the time. Once, for two plus weeks they brought in a large external dumpster that no one could reach and everyone threw their trash in a smelly, dirty heap. 13) The gates never work and should just be removed. They stick in the up position and then crash down on your car. We had damage to our roof two times. We were also stuck IN the complex several times when they malfunctioned. All of this and they were going to increase our rent $50 a month after the first lease. The clientele decreased tremendously while we were there, as they ran off good tenants and let in riff-raff. 14) Gang colors and loitering teens with alcohol were not uncommon. I felt unsafe walking to my car after dark. 15) The pool is nasty, overcrowded and people openly drink alcohol and pee in the pool. 16) I stopped calling in work orders because the office staff was so rude, acting like they were doing me a favor, never thanking me for calling and always telling me it would be a while because they were so busy. 17) Our breezways were so filled with trash from the kids that loitered there for hours every day after school (listening to music, yelling, etc) that I picked up trash myself. Sad. Also, when you move out...you will get NO money back. They do not have any concept of normal wear and tear. I am a neat freak and they charged me for anything that looked different from the day we moved in! Ridiculous. There is more, but I am tired of writing and trying to just forget that I ever had to call this place home. I am only writing the above to hopefully help others avoid this horrible place.
