My stay here was beyond what I've ever experienced at a hotel, when I checked in all of the front desk staff were so nice and helpful. There were fresh baked cookies in the main area where theres also a fireplace and a cozy area to have family time. My room was extremely clean and there is also a full oven/stove, fridge and microwave. I slept like a baby and theres actual thermostats on the wall so you can adjust your room temp to be exactly what you like. The Manager Rhonda was sooooo amazing she heard it was my hubbyand I's " staycation so she even made us adorable goodie-bags filled with treats, as if this stay couldn't get any better! We woke up to a complimentary breakfast that was actually filling and so yummy and fresh! If you're looking for somewhere to stay in airdrie do not pass this place up! You are also walking distance to superstore and some nice restaurants so you dont even need to use your vehicle. Thank you so much for our amazing stay! read more

Very impressed with this hotel, the staff have given 100 percent customer secvice, hotel is very clean with nice rooms. This is in a smaller city that is very rural but so accommodating. They offer a nice contentinental breakfast every morninfg- even with that lack of amenties such as a pool I loved my stay. The manager and her staff are amazing and have been a highlight to my stay. We have stayed here numerous times and initially chose it because it is pet friendly. Unlike other hotels we have stayed at with our dog that put us on the 6th floor, they put us 1 or 2 rooms away from a side door on their main floor. Their breakfasts are included and are always fresh and good. Also their staff is always very friendly and accommodating. I feel confident recommending it. read more

Are you looking for a clean, modern hotel with friendly and caring staff? Do you want to stay in a hotel where you feel good about your stay and know you got more than full value for the price you paid upon checking out of the hotel? If yes, look no further than Wingate by Wyndham in Airdrie. I have stayed at this hotel on two separate occasions and was impressed with each visit. The hotel opened in May, 2016. The look and feel of the interior decor lends to the feeling this hotel will seem to be "new" for many years to come. I've only stayed in the King Bed rooms. The rooms are adequate size with a bed, desk, chair, and dresser for the main furniture. The bathroom has lots of space. The beds are comfortable and the pillows are great. Each morning an excellent continental breakfast (included in the room rate) is served with many options, including waffles and other hot foods. The hotel location is prime. A 15-18 minute drive from the Calgary International Airport and close to the Queen Elizabeth II highway with easy access. There is no road noise from the QE II in the hotel. The amenities in the immediate surrounding area are top notch. Grocery shopping, clothes, shopping, restaurants, etc are all within one or two blocks from the hotel. And only a mile or two away, is the "Best Baked Lasagna in Southern Alberta" at Athena's Grill. I highly recommend staying at this hotel. If I was a visitor to the area and doing day trips to different southern Alberta tourist attractions (Banff, Lake Louise, Drumheller, etc) I would make this hotel my base. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The Guest Services Manager (is her name Rhonda?) is professional, experienced, and hard working (I think she works 24 hours a day). She will do anything possible to make guests feel at home. Other hotels in the area will have to take notice of what Wingate by Wyndham Airdrie is offering for the price. read more
