I have to admit I haven't been much of a fan of Chegg in the very limited amount of visits I've had…read moreover the years. Recently some family members went for happy hour to watch a Phillies game, and they had a great time. We decided to give it another shot for happy hour. We really enjoyed ourselves and thought the value for what we ordered was outstanding. We arrived just after 5pm (happy hour weekly from 3-6) and were greeted by one of 3 bartenders who helped us throughout our visit (all 3 bartenders were great). I asked about their current down east cider on tap and she poured us a taster without having to request it. I ended up going with a happy hour dirty Kettle martini which ended up being super smooth. My wife had a Surfside, also on happy hour. The happy hour food consists of 1/2 price appetizers, fries, 10 piece boneless/bone-in wings and fingers. Drink wise it's $3 off all draft beer & house wine, $5 seltzers & teas, $7 margaritas, and $10 kettle & espresso martinis. I love a good deal and this is it! Chegg also has a fun Phillies special where each game there is a player of the game. If that player records a hit there are drink specials the remainder of the game! We ordered a bunch of food also on happy hour; Garlic Parm Boneless Wings, Fried Pickle Spears, Cheesy Bay Fries, and Bone-In Zapper Wings. I typically prefer smaller wings. These wings were on the bigger side and were meaty and juicy, but they were also crispy, cooked well throughout and not fatty. The wing sauce was really good! Very hot but not overbearing which is just what I was hoping for. The fried pickle spears were also a hit, and seemed to be breaded in house which is a huge plus if they were. The boneless wings were very good, however, we've had better Garlic Parm sauces elsewhere. Still nothing to complain about. After finishing my Dirty Martini I ordered a Jalapeño Margarita which was delicious. The bartender muddled jalapeño in the shaker prior to making the drink. It was limey and refreshing with a subtle jalapeño kick. Well worth the price tag and something I'd definitely order again. I finished up with one of my favorite all time beers, Tonewood Fuego (this drink not on happy hour). I mention this as all of this food and drink came out to ~$65. Again, value-wise I was impressed. I think Chegg has the potential to be great place to watch games. Their bar is very large with plenty of TVs throughout. They also have a great patio bar for beautiful days/nights. I'm sure during big Philadelphia sporting events the atmosphere is pretty great inside and out. I can definitely see myself coming back again for happy hour as the food and drink specials are great in my opinion. This was my first time at a Chegg happy hour. I still feel the prices are a bit high outside of happy hour. If you want decent bar food at a good price Chegg happy hour could be a place for you.

Came in for lunch on a Saturday and we had no issues finding parking or getting seated right away…read more We ordered the Stuffed French Toast with Blueberries, Chicken Walnut Salad, and a side of Home Fries to share. The salad was ok and I wish there were more greens it - seemed like such a small serving for how much chicken came with it. Breakfast Potatoes were crunchy so pretty happy about that. Would give this place another try and maybe order one of the breakfast options instead.

The lady was not friendly and there was no trash can. I don't know if this is specific to this location or normal for wing stop or if I'm spoiled. I was refused a cup for water. I bike around, so any spot that doesn't offer water is a big deterrent for me. So, as with most places, it's hit or miss depending on staff that day. For the food, highlight is definitely the name sake, wings. The variety of sauces to flavor your chicken or wings was fun. If you got a hankering for for there sauces and got a sturdier stomach than I, (I was not raised on fast food like a lot of people are.) I think it's a nice treat every once in a while if you got the craving.

But this night when I went to order was apparently like national fried chicken sandwich day or something because that's how I got my free fried chicken sandwich with my wings order. I put the order thru the website and it said half hour wait. I didn't believe that time so I gave it more 45 minutes and in total about an hour wait. The guys were cooking up a storm. The wings were great. The garlic parm wasn't overly garlic, the spicy Korean had a sticky sweet heat to it and the fries I got with extra seasoning. The fries weren't super hot when I got home but 3 minutes in the air fryer was perfect. Their ranch sauce is phenomenal. I'm not joking. The chicken sandwich (which i heated up the next day) was really good, simple bun, few pickles and a good slather of hot sauce. Obviously I dipped this in the ranch sauce too. The wings and fries combo came with a drink that I almost forgot about but the guy finishing up my order made sure I got a cup and I happily went about my night.

I visited this establishment a few weeks ago on a Saturday. It is near my friend's business,…read moreliterally 4 min away so we decided to try them. Location is in a strip mall with a few other eateries and stores . It was alot going on. As mentioned it was a Saturday and many patrons were coming in to order takeout or picking up orders. It was their 5th anniversary of the business opening. There was a DJ and a podcaster, videographer and cameraman onsite doing a food review. There was also a toy drive and if you brought a toy you got to spin a wheel to win a prize. The establishment is small so with the DJ and podcaster/ entourage and the toy drive there was not much seating available. The wait was extremely long. I had to ask an employee to check my order status twice each time she never came back with update. We were there for about an hour. I saw an order come up waited about 15 min then asked them to check if that was my order and it was. The food was not hot, they didn't give me the signature sauce that came with my order. The strawberry lemonade was delicious, the wings were decent, the fish sandwich and fish platter both looked amazing but was just OK. Didn't care for the sweet potato fries. I truly think it was because the food wasn't hot and the fries had wilted. The set up inside is a bit off with the ordering kiosk right in front of bar stool seating. The kiosk should probably be in the corner on the right side when you first walk in. Away from where folks sit and eat. It's distracting when you're sitting at a stool and the line is long with folks ordering and waiting for take out orders. I would try them again but on a day when there isn't so much going on to get the real experience of the quality of food. I ordered a fish platter, 10 wings, sweet potato fries , strawberry lemonade and a small fountain drink. My friend ordered the fish sandwich, fried shrimp platter and two can sodas.

Every…read moreinteraction I've had whether it's been ordering or DoorDash, very professional and friendly. It was Friday. So I took advantage of the fish platter special. $15 gets you four pieces of fish and fries. I also ordered chicken tenders. 3 was $10 I believe. Doesn't really come in a combo. I added fries it came to $15 and some change. I got an extra sauce for $1. Jerk sauce and a hot honey garlic. I'll start with the good first. Fish was perfect. You ask for it to be fried a little harder.but you can't complain. They perfected that. But they put a sauce on it. Sauce wasn't bad in my opinion but I wasn't asked if I wanted it on there. It has a creamy taste to it like mayo in it so that may throw some people off. But that is all for the good. Chicken tenders. I can't speak on it. I didn't eat any but my lady said it was "real" chicken not the frozen kind. The fries was disrespectful. Cool for the fish platter but I paid an extra $5 for a toddler handful of fries. And they were just so so. Cajun fries only mean it's some old bay seasoning on em. The sauces. I just was expecting something different so I got them, quick tasted and put em in the fridge maybe for something else. But even if I could get over the shortcomings with the food. That Lemonade/ iced tea mixture was horrible. Not just a oh I don't like it but it'll do. No. I almost turned around in my car that I already drove off in because it was so bad. Thats what really cooked me. Better luck next time.
