I'm actually addicted to Wing It On. Wings have three important factors: quality of meat, sauce and juicyness. The quality of meat is definitely an A. There is a lot of meat on each wing and not big chuncks of fat. The sauce is A+. To be honest I've only tried two of their twenty three flavors: the classic hot buffalo and the Wings of Prey. Both sauces taste awesome with a well balanced flavor and not overly salty. The third factor for wings is juicyness. Wing It On gets a B here. I think they could shave 30-60 seconds off the cooking time. This factor has not faltered my resolve. Wing It On is still my go to wing spot. It sounds lame but I highly recommend downloading the app. It makes ordering very easy and you get loyalty points pretty quickly which are used for discounts. I thought it's takeout was very good. Wings great. Curly fries great. The only complaint was that the portion of fries was too small.

I ordered through Uber Eats. They completely forgot to add my salad. For someone who already works in the industry I just have to say this is unacceptable. That's why you have to double check the orders. Not only was my salad not made but I specified how one of the sandwiches needed to be and it was clearly not read correctly because the sandwich wasn't made correctly. Not only that when I called yes they admitted they forgot but didn't provide proper solution. Just call Uber eats and see what they can do they may give you a refund or maybe send someone else but it'll take time. The place warmed up on me. The first try? I was surprised by the type of meet and the packaging. Maybe I wasn't expecting the entire experience besides that, the food was bland at best. I was expecting more flavor. The second time I went, food tasted the same but no more surprise as to what to expect. I like it. It's different, hopefully healthier. Wait time wasn't bad. If you're looking for a place for wings or dumplings this is the place to get them. They're hot wings and they're dumplings have very different seasonings or sauces. Great tasting wings....but very expensive if you try to feed a family.....they are not whole wings but one wing splint in half. So they call that two wings...I call it one. So six splint in half wings (three whole wings) over 6.00 dollars. Go to drumstick if you have to feed a family....great portions at drumstick. read more

Went there for 1 st time yesterday it was GREAT! It was so good I brought my wife today & it was mediocre @ best. Very light on the dry rubs { 2 different ones} almost plain wings. WING IT N O T went first time today! To Stratford one on Barnum Ave. I Online ordered it. I did not get a order # or a confirmation from the business to my cell phone so I had to call them 3 x because they put you on hold before you can get in a word and you W A I T and W A I T until they come on. The third time was the charm, the young lady was very friendly and confirmed my order. I went at the time I chose and it was ready and waiting, BUT I left and forgot the sodas and the girl apologized for the mishap. My ISSUE was I asked for Garlic Parm I know it was dry brushed but these taste like nothing no stick flavor to the wings at all, I also asked for extra crispy BUT they were crispy dry! so lesson to learn DONT order Garlic Parm! or Extra Crispy. I ordered regular Buffalo same thing xtra crispy and these taste better because they were not xtra crispy dry! these were better to eat then the Garlic Parm ones which were also VERY SMALL like not much meat unlike the Buffalo ones. Huge difference between both orders. Also the fries and curly fries BOTH terrible. regular fries were too salty and the curly were not that seasoned or had the orangy color most do at other burger franchises I have been to. Youve been worned people. I rather order my buffalo wings at Golden Wah much meat on the them and great buffalo sauce as well. Sorry Wing it On, you had a great spot in waterbury that I use to go to. What a refreshing treat! I had the opportunity to visit this location for some wings and can I tell you they were on point! Based on the wings before you even put them in your mouth, they were hot, juicy, succulent, mouthwatering, and they smelled amazing! You can always tail the quality of service based on the dipping sauce. You can tape that they put money into this dipping sauce. Now I don't know if they made the sauce themselves or just purchased a good dipping sauce but let me tell you! The quality of that blue cheese was so delicious and thick and savory, oh my goodness! Now let's get back to these wings! These wings when you bite into the first one, they were cooked well done. I love it when you can see the thickness of the sauce and it was not watered down. The crispiness and the juiciness of the wing coupled with that hot thick buffalo sauce! Man oh man oh man! Mouthwatering, juicy, I can go on and on talking about this wings. If you have not tried this place out, then what are you waiting on? This must be one of Stratford's top secrets! To taste and get an idea of what this place is about I ordered a take out of 6 piece Classic Chicken Wings with Buffalo Sauce for the total of $8.58. When I opened the box at home, I discovered that there were only 5! tiniest wings ever. 5! Unless it was an intentional rip off, how could anybody mess up on a tiny order like this? Is counting to 6 makes this much of a skill to work in this place? No surprise: the "miscalculation" was in favor of the business, not the customer! for the microscopic 4 drumettes and 1 wingette, which is what was in the brown box. There was only one other customer, who came in after my order was already taken. Can't blame this one on "being busy!" Is this how the employees gather food for themselves for dinner by gypping customers on their order? Or is it corporate policy? Are the employees that highly skilled that they can NOT count to 6? How can they possibly rip customers off on a tiny order like this? Is this a new strategy of establishing new businesses and customer relations in neighborhoods? This is not to say about the poor quality of this meal! Given the nature of this eatery, I highly doubt that these were organic high quality wings, which could account for the tiny size, had the chickens were the size the nature intended them to be. My feeling is that these are the rejects that don't make it to the market and are purchased at a fraction of the cost, thus bringing a hefty profit. Apart from the microscopic size of the wings at $8.58 for "6", they tested rubbery. The "mild Buffalo" sauce was a watery substance with no spice or heat to it; just red color liquid slightly thickened by who-knows-what. It is hard to imagine anybody making this substance to be called a sauce. Or is this another instance of a rip off, when sauces get diluted with water in such a way that it can rightfully be called a soup? This leaves a very bitter taste in one's mouth not only from the food itself, but the entire experience all around, being cheated out of the portion, money, size, and quality of the product at the top dollar price. Do not place order online! We ordered through their website. Showed up at assigned time, told order never received. We had to prove the charge on our credit card to get a refund. Ive never been to this establishment, however, the front counter employees took their time with me and suggested great flavors. The outside seating was a great touch. If I could give a "0" I would. This food is not as consistent as the previous location in Bridgeport and the service is HORIFFIC. I ordered my food online for my family and the order arrived with items missing. I attempted to call and no one had time to speak with me to resolve the issue. "We're too busy...someone will call you back". I requested the manager, again "too busy". I requested a refund for the missing items " You have to wait for the manager"...who again..."is too busy". First time customer here. This place was hopping busy, and I mean staff was hustling and some customers were yappin about taking too long. It's been open since Saturday so people need to relax. I ordered online and to my surprise it said order would be ready in 20 min. Got to the lot and was fulll!! Uh oh!! Went in and was greeted immediately. I was told it would be a few min. Well. About 25 min later my order was ready. All I will say is it was definitely worth the wait. I got two orders of wings. One dry rub Cajun which is my go to, and a ragin garlic sauce on the other. Cajun to me give both sliders and dew drop a run for there money. Crispy but not over cooked. Great rub! Ragin garlic were very good also, little more heat would make em perfect for me. Staff, Held their cool and got through. Expeditor was spot on, give her a raise. To open in a pandemic and get slammed must be difficult people, be nice and be patient.
