Amazing! Miss Lauren and all the teachers here have been excellent. All the staff have been patient, firm, sincere, and unflappable. The atmosphere is friendly and upbeat, but also calm and a good combination of structure and independence. We love the Winfield KinderCare! We had to drop off our first child at this daycare during the middle of COVID and we were not able to enter the building at any point. We were already nervous dropping out daughter off at day care for the first time to then add all the regulations of COVID on top of it. However, the staff and teachers at KinderCare made us feel so welcome and continued to communicate with us to help us through such a hard transition! We cannot wait to be back next fall! read more

Winfield KinderCare is my sons home away from home! Ms. Lauren and her staff go above and beyond for the center. My son has been attending since he was 6 weeks old and each and every teacher that has crossed our paths have been amazing! He's now in the toddler room, since I'm a former toddler teacher I LOVE seeing the hands on activities that they do. The infant teachers were also amazing with having sensory activities available for the children. The communication at the center is wonderful. My two girls kids have been going to this facility for about a year now. We had an AMAZING home daycare in the city so were a little nervous for the kids coming to a completely different environment with a lot more kids. Needless to say, the transition could not have gone smoother. Overall we are pretty happy with this facility. We especially enjoy that they do a "summer camp" of sorts for the kids with different themes and activities with "water day" every Tuesday. This helped tremendously as our 4 year old daughter didn't feel left out while our 6 year old son was in actual summer camp with the Winfield park district. read more

One of the worst providers I have yet to ever encounter they are nowhere near organized very unsanitized children are left unsupervised they get to Rome the different classes as they please!! I have even witnessed one child going into the kitchen and passing out food from lunch mind you it was already 5 PM no one noticed he was in there that is definitely a hazard as well as he could've hurt himself or caught the day care on fire or given something to a child that could've potentially been allergic to the food!! He was passing out food to the children and for the teachers not to say anything was absolutely baffling.. Now the director Angela she is Absolutely one of the most unprofessional people I have ever encountered!! Angela made it seem like it was very family orientated and I had no worries.. Boy was I Proven wrong!! My son continuously complain about children picking on him.. when I brought this to Angeles attention she told me boys will be boys completely dismissed that my son was being picked on and being hit!! My son numerously would come home with bruises scratches and marks they had no explanation on how he receive them!! Another big issues was my son was complaining about children that were school age which in my opinion has absolutely nothing and no business being around children that are four and five years old. So I bought a watch that did not only GPS/satellite in on my son but also gave him the option to call me that is when I realized even more than ever my son was not properly being taken care of he was being bullied teachers were ignoring him when he would approach them with concerns with other older children picking on him.. They did absolutely nothing!! I am very happy that I am no longer in this facility the first time I went to this facility it was ran by Cynthia boy did I miss her the second time around!! I had to place my son in another Kinder Care.. I can honestly say he has advanced when it comes to learning reading math an site words is definitely ready for kindergarten this fall!! Unfortunately at Kender care in Winfield they have no structure very unorganized no educational program even though they tell you they do it is false advertisement my son did not learn a thing but play!! He is now attending another Kender care he has thrived in so many different ways the staff are absolutely amazing and absolutely day and night compared to this Winfield Kender care!!! I am pretty sure this post will be taken off do too The Truth being spoken!! Just as well as the others with truth when it comes to the professionalism that they have witnessed the lack of care for our children just like their post have been taken down I'm sure mine would and Will be as well I hope everyone has a great day!! Love this place! My children have been going there for a few years now and I wouldn't take them anyplace else. EVERY teacher is kind, patient and understanding. My kids always want to go back and love their teachers. They pay attention to my kids individual needs. We plan on moving come the new year and this completely devastates us because I don't want to take the kids out of a school where they are so loved. Totally recommended!! read more

This center has gone through many changes in management since I started bringing my two daughters here about a year and a half ago. I feel this is a negative, as it has been confusing and frustrating to keep up with who is in charge and how each director does or does not lead the center effectively. As a positive, though, I feel that the teachers have been there consistently, and while there is some teacher turnover, there is a core group of teachers who are really caring, well-trained and professional. And in the end, it's the teachers who have a positive relationship with the kids. I have contacted the regional director a few times, and I always felt like she tried to help the center solve any problems that it was experiencing. Overall, I feel that my kids are well cared for and learning in their classes. There are many wonderfully sweet teachers who truly care about my kids. My kids have made good friends there, and enjoy themselves during the day. My only hesitation in recommending this center wholeheartedly would be that the only constant at Kindercare Winfield is that the managers and assistant managers change from one season to the next. If this center could finally hire a long-term, solid director, the whole staff might be better supported, and the kids would really benefit! read more

We've been attending this WINFIELD Kindercare for 3 years- now going on 4 and have nothing but great things to say! We absolutely love the staff- our kids have developed great bonds with them. They take the time to really get to know our kids and what makes them tick. They are always willing to work with us- either with schedules or the ups and downs of our kids' development. The staff is well lead by a great director and co-director that have very high standards. We just had a third baby and was a little apprehensive about going into the baby room as this will be our first time sending a newborn to Kindercare (we did at home daycare with our first 2 until they were 1 and 3) but they've been wonderful answering all of my questions and putting me at ease! To those who are on the fence my suggestion is to get to know the staff- this is the best way to feel connected and to really know how your kids are doing adjusting. My kids have learned SO much while here. My son was totally prepared for kindergarten and my daughter well acclimated to playing with other kids and learning from teachers. We looked at many facilities and stuck with this one for the staff, amazing curriculum, and happiness of my kids- seriously- they love it here. Wouldn't choose anywhere else! read more
