The teachers are knowledgeable in child development, create engaging and creative activities, and appear to genuinely enjoy their jobs. Our son started at TLE as an infant. He has been in 3 rooms total over the past 2 years. There have…read morebeen 3 directors and turnover with many of the aides. You often don't know the aide who is taking care of your child as they do not do introductions of the new employees. As another review mentioned, there is a lack of communication at this center. With every room move, we had no formal introduction to the new teacher. No explanation of what to expect in the new classroom. Just pointed in the direction of where the new room is located. There is a monthly email with the "theme" of the curriculum. For example, Oceans, Family, Forests etc. However, do not expect to be told specifically what words, colors, numbers, letters your child is actually working on. We randomly figure out what our son has learned by the new things he says. They just started to add some information like the color and day of the week to the app. This center does not hold any sort of parent/teacher conference or provide any progress updates on your child's development. The app...Do not expect this to be updated throughout the day. Most updates come through after 2/3PM at the end of the day. I have brought up the lack of pictures and updates to management plenty of times but there was no improvement made. For the price point of this daycare, I expected the app to be maintained as promised. Their pricing is in line with Gardner School + KinderCare who also offer an app. I would consider other options if having an app, receiving development progression updates, or overall communication are important to you. The quickest we ever heard from the director was when we sent an email advising we were withdrawing our son. We got a call within 5 minutes. He never asked why we were leaving or if there was anything he could do to keep our son there. His call was to advise a form needed to be filled out...His lack of concern confirmed we made the right choice to switch daycares. To top things off, we were charged today for two weeks of care even though we were told billing would be taken care of correctly. I will say the teachers are caring and would be the only reason to stick around. Ms. Kim in Infant room is the best! Our son adores her. Sandra + Daniela in the Twaddler room are the dynamic duo and have great energy. Ms. Natalie in the Twos room is super sweet. Diana + Sam took great care of our son. We were looking forward to having Ms. Cece for preschool.

From the top down, every single person that will be around your children is a special person and one the genuinely will care for and enjoys being around your kids. They have a perfect mix of youth and wisdom in their staff. It feels like a home away from home here. Communication is perfect via their app. You can get a live stream of your child's room during the hours they're open. No extra charge. Summer Camp. Biggest yard/playground you will see. Serious acreage back there! All this stuff is a great plus, but our kids have been here and will remain here because of the people. I wanted to list all of their names but that's probably not a good idea. I will always credit Childtime Glen Ellyn for providing the first formal education and roots for both of my daughters. Did I mention they have a commercial Kutcher and cool fresh meals for the kids 2-3 times per day? I get jealous at their breakfast meals daily!

I WOULDN'T SEND A DEAD DOG TO THIS PLACE!! LEARNED MY LESSON THE HARD WAY! IT WAS THE FIRST PLACE I…read moreSENT MY DAUGHTER TO, AND THEY TRAUMATIZED ME! I am looking at these reviews and trying to figure out how their reviews are this high. It is very misleading!! PLEASE, if you care about the sake of your child's health and well-being, do not send your child here!! THIS PLACE IS FILLED WITH ALL YOUNG PEOPLE WHO EITHER DON'T HAVE KIDS OR DON'T KNOW A THING A KIDS. AND ONE OLD LADY IN THE BABIES' ROOM. Unfortunately, I sent my daughter to this daycare for over six months. They seemed like a good daycare the day I was touring the facility, but as time passed, more and more things started to reveal themselves. Every time I would pick up my child, she had dried up snot all over her face, and not only that, that place started having a foul smell when I would walk into the facility like they were not cleaning anything at all. Yes, I get that kids cry, but why not use a wipe to ensure that their faces are clean? They will neglect your child and have them just crying in the crib, trying to get them to shut up. My mother and I witnessed it when we would drop in. They leave the kids to wipe their noses themselves, and that's exactly how the germs and sickness were spread constantly. Damn, nearly every month of my child being in the facility, she was sick, constantly coughing, and having diaper rashes because they would not change her diaper in a timely manner. This "day"care" is not dependable. It was days they would text our phone SAME DAY, stating that they did not have enough teachers to support the classroom, so I would have to pick my daughter up earlier. 10/11 am most days because of their need for more staff. Also, the director, Jill, was very rude. I would call her, and she would not answer, so I had to leave voicemails. Instead of returning my call, she would email me at the end of her work day to avoid me altogether. Whenever I saw her in the facility, she never spoke to me or my child. What kind of atmosphere is that to have your child in? My last straw with them was when I picked my child up, and she had dried blood coming out her nose, and no one could explain what happened. THE ASSISTANT DIRECTOR tried to tell me her nose MAY HAVE started bleeding because of the cold air.GTFOH! WHY TF SHOULD A FACILITY BE THIS COLD FOR MY INFANT DAUGHTER'S NOSE TO BLEED, AND IT TAKES ME TO COME TO PICK HER UP FOR ME TO ADDRESS IT. My daughter's nose has never started bleeding randomly, NEVER! I told them to check the cameras, and they stated that this place had no cameras. THEN I CHECKED THE REPORT AND THE ASSISTANT DIRECTOR LIED AND STATED IT WAS "DRIED BOOGERS AND NO BLOOD TO COVER THEIR ASS OF NEGLIGENCE. WHAT BOOGERS BLEED?! GTFOH! IT'S A REASON THEY DON'T HAVE ANY BECAUSE THEY KNOW THEY DON'T TAKE CARE OF THOSE KIDS! That was the last day I had my daughter attend that school. I transferred her immediately. This place should be shut down because it is no place for ANY CHILD, especially those who can not talk.

My three-year old now goes to the Tuesday/Thursday class from 9 to 11 am and his teachers are wonderful - patient and caring and they are so dedicated to helping the kids participate in a lot of fun and educational activities. My 15-month old will start soon with the parent-tot class also. It is so fun to watch the little ones interact with each other and explore the activities and toys in the room.
