The Director along with the teachers, go above and beyond for all of the children. The love and dedication they demonstrate definitely does not go unnoticed. The design and structure of the space is filled with fun touches, from the little village in the hallway, to the movie theater and the adorable little kitchen area. Everything is always extremely clean and well managed. The Kidsreports app is very comforting. We receive daily updates which include photos, activities and a meal/snack log. This application also allows us to communicate with the teachers and director. Cadence Academy has not only provided a great space for my son to learn and develop new friendships, but has also become such an important addition to our family. We truly love all of the staff, but wanted to personally thank Ms. Jamie, Ms. Kristen, Ms Leonora and Ms. Julie for always taking such good care of our son...you guys hold such a special place in our hearts. I definitely recommend Cadence Academy for those with littles ones.

I would highly recommend this daycare in comparison to the other surrounding ones. Ownership and…read moremanagement truly care about the kids and are very hands-on themselves in the overall care and attentiveness to their kids and facilities. The education and curriculum is far superior then most other daycares. The place is extremely clean as well. I started off my first born there 3 years ago and now I enrolled my second child and both love going everyday.

I would not recommend this school. We had a terrible experience there with our 4-year-old, whose…read moreattendance at the school was a short 4-months. From just a few weeks in, we noticed that he was more irritable, and somewhat sad on a fairly regular basis. He would constantly ask us to stay home, stating that he "hated" his new school. We also noticed that there were constantly new teacher assistants, (none of whom would ever introduce themselves), and he was switched into a new class just 2 months after he started. He began asking us if he was a bad kid and he also started telling us that he would "never let us down." For context, he attended a wonderful Goddard school prior to our move back to the area, and we never had any problems. We had an in-person meeting with the school's administrators to address some of the concerns. He was put a plan to help "correct" his troublesome behavior, and 1-week later, without warning, we were contacted and told that he could no longer attend. On his final day, he came home and told us that his teacher told him he was leaving the school because he was a bad kid. The administration told us we should have him evaluated as his behavior was "troublesome". Against our better judgement, we had lengthy meetings with both our pediatrician and an outside evaluator, and both informed us that he was a perfectly normal 4-year-old. They both agreed that they thought something else was going on at the school that we had not been privy to. It's been 2 months since we left Goddard, and our son is a different person. He is so much happier, and his "spark" seems to be back. In summation, this school does not care about the children that attend. And the insinuation that something was "wrong" with our kid was beyond reproach. In retrospect, I am grateful our tenure was short-lived and would not recommend this school.

My kids came to this school from a home daycare. I found the Owners to be very helpful and…read morefriendly. In particular, Paul -- always gave my kids high 5s. Director Amanda is excellent and responsive. My son was in the Pre-K room there and my daughter in the 2s and then Preschool Rooms. Megan is/was the Pre-K teacher and I adored her. She was open and up front with the parents. Which is always appreciated. Paulina was my daughter's teacher for the majority of the time she was there and I miss her. She was sunshine. A couple of things I didn't care for: When we'd pick up the kids (at 4:15) my daughter's preschool class was often mixed in with the Pre-K class. And the same when we'd drop them off in the morning. At those times, I kind of felt like they were never doing anything....always running around playing but not doing anything organized. And by running around playing I mean that it came across as complete chaos sometimes. In the end the school did not offer Kindergarten so that is why we pulled my kids out. The school is pretty new, considering the ages of many of the places around here...so I think in time and when there are more kids there, that the kink I mentioned above may work themselves out.

I was so scared to put her in child care but I didn't have a choice and this school made it so much easier. The teachers are great you can tell that they really care about the kids. I cried on her last day. She learned as well as had fun.

I cannot say enough good things about the staff at Mini Steps! As a former employee (director…read morequalified) of five years at KinderCare and an early education major, I held Mini Steps to high standards going in. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised to realize that I could drop my children off at a "non-chain" daycare and receive exceptional care at an affordable price. My youngest son started attending Mini Steps when he was only 10 weeks old. As a single mom, nothing was harder for me than leaving my newborn at daycare while I went to work every day. The quality of loving care and nurturing that he received on a daily basis from Ms. Marie and Ms. Jan was beyond any of my expectations. I quickly felt at ease leaving my newborn at Mini Steps in the loving and capable hands of the staff there. As my newborn grew and moved up to the toddler room, the transition was so easy and natural because he was already so comfortable and attached to Ms. Jan. From the toddler room he moved on to the 2s room with Ms. Sarah and again, I have nothing but amazing things to say. Ms. Sarah loved my son as she loved her own, and I knew that he was in the best hands possible. In the 3s room with Ms. Robbin and the 4s room with Ms. Barbara my son grew into the adorable, stubborn, hard-headed, sweet, hilarious, and smart child that he is today. He loved going to school and playing with his friends, and I loved how much he was learning through play and not even realizing it! My oldest son was a schoolager when he started Mini Steps in first grade. We both love Ms. Kay and cannot say enough wonderful things about her! She is a teacher and friend to her students, which can sometimes be a hard combination, but it comes as second nature to Ms. Kay. Not only is she caring and compassionate, she is strict when she needs to be. I recently purchased a new home in a new school district and had no other choice but to remove my children from Mini Steps. I cried on their last day. How do you say "Thank You" to the amazing teachers who helped you raise your children for 5 years?? Words just don't seem like enough. Tracie and Moe, thank you for giving me peace of mind every single day for 5 years while I was away from my boys. Thank you to the entire staff of Mini Steps for loving my boys the way I do. I will forever be grateful. xoxo
