Plus a good selection of beer from Belgium, England, Austria, the Czech Republic and more (much of which I didn't recognise), all at reasonable prices. The shop itself is worth a mention too: wood panels everywhere, with the beer bottles presented neatly on shelves. Throw in the friendly service and slow trumpet jazz sountrack playing softly in the background and it's very difficult to leave the shop without buying something. They tell parcel owners to go elsewhere to drop off packages as they refuse to accept. They likely pocket a monthly fee for pretending to accept EVRI packages, so this is fraudulent behavior.

For a tiny shop, Crispins has a ridiculously large selection of treats imported from the US (pop-tarts, brownie mixes, pancake mixes, runts, mini reese's peanut butter cups and yes Brach's candy corn). Light struck is the term used when the hop compounds that cause yummy bitterness react with UV light to produce methyl butane thiol (MBT). MBT is a similar chemical that Skunks use to make their fantastically stinky skunk smell. Beer in cans block out all UV ray, brown bottles most, green less and clear none. When you approach Drinkers Paradise, it's quite apparent that there are many bottles visible in the window. I'm guessing the owners aren't the biggest beer drinkers. Not to mention the big Fosters logo on the outside to make anyone who enjoys good beer cringe. Please for the love of God stay away from Drinkers Paradise.

Bourbon was not in short supply, fortunately, so I helped myself to a bottle of Elijah Craig, too. They also carry Buffalo Trace and Woodford. I did not see any Maker's Mark for those of you who love you some Maker's. I would have loved to have seen Blanton's, but beggars can't be choosers. I'm just glad to have found a smattering of good bourbon in this town. SW4, a locally produced gin, was in house as well as Junipero, all the way from foggy San Francisco. They don't, I was told, seem to stock Sipsmith as it seemed to be too costly for them to do so. Bummer. And, as the name would suggest, they do boast quite a lovely selection of single malts.
