From the start Valet of the Moon was super communicative and sooooo knowledgeable of the valley! They sent over great options of a variety of vineyards to visit. Once we selected the places we wanted to go, they set up the PERFECT route to allow us to hit everything that we wanted to a a pace that allowed for the perfect enjoyment at each location. We were carefree and so relaxed as Colleen treated us like royalty but kept us in perfect sync with our schedule. If we needed to deviate from the plan, she was on it and Colleen went OUT OF HER WAY to act as a personal concierge for some celebratory needs that we requested. Really, I cannot say enough great things about our experience with Valet of the moon!

During…read moreour time in Sonoma, we connected with Sharon from Valet of the Moon Tours and had a great experience. She met us at our B&B--right on time--and was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable about the Sonoma area. She was very accommodating when we discussed our favorite wines and places we hoped to visit during the day. In addition to taking us to the places we requested, she managed to squeeze in several off-the-beaten-path gems that really made the day memorable. (Small Vines was our favorite--definitely worth a stop.) Also, she took us to a sandwich shop that we really liked, I wish I could remember the name. (I blame the tastings..) Regardless, Sharon is definitely a guide that cares about her passengers and makes sure that everyone leaves Sonoma with terrific memories.

I felt like after my email was sent...within a few hours (at most) she replied with a helpful, detailed response. During our trip, we never felt rushed. Our itinerary was perfect! If you are planning a trip to wine country...make sure to ask Melanie for help!

In advance of my first trip to Napa, I booked two day trips with Melanie at Booker and Butler. We…read morehad a group of 9 people and wanted to explore the wine country. First, Melanie set us up with a limo to take us to several wineries and an amazing wine collective in Yountville. Second, Melanie put together a half day bike tour for our group in Sonoma to visit several wineries and a cheese factory. Booking with Melanie was super easy. She asked me what our group's preferences were, what our budget was and if we had any special requests / needs. She handled all of the booking fees, payments and confirmations. Before the trip, Melanie sent me a very detailed itinerary with our driver's name, contact information, the contact people at each winery, directions just in case the driver didnt have them (was not an issue) and the cost for each part of the day trip. Melanie was also reachable while we were out there in case anything came up (was not an issue - everything ran smoothly). Melanie was also incredibly helpful providing restaurant recommendations, shopping excursion ideas and providing a general sense of what attractions there were in Napa / Sonoma beyond wineries. Having someone else book the group trips (for a very reasonable cost) and getting a local's perspective on the wineries and places we should visit made the trip so much easier to plan and it was much more relaxing once we got there as I knew everything was taken care of. I would definitely recommend Melanie and Booker and Butler to any family, friends or colleagues who are going to Napa and Sonoma.

PF Wine Tours helped me plan my 50th birthday trip with my friends. This was our first trip to Napa…read moreand our pick-up originated in San Francisco. PF Wine Tours tailored our day trip to accommodate our time constraints, budget, and tastes in wine. Not only were we able to find a winery to suit everyone's taste, but some of the most beautiful wineries were selected, since having beautiful views was important to us. If you want an affordable, upscale experience, with a personal touch, I highly recommend this company. On this trip, we visited Pride Mountain Vineyard Caves (gorgeous views and an organized lunch), Robert Biale Vineyards, and Trefethen Family Vineyards (gorgeous)! We enjoyed them all! We selected the option where PF Wine Tours provided the car and chauffeur for the day. However, there is a less expensive option where they can drive your car or rental car. We want to return to Napa and visit more wineries and will return and use PF Wine Tours. The personalized service and extra special touches made my birthday special and we all had a wonderful day.

He was great to work with, punctual, and very responsive whenever I had any questions. I checked around with a lot of other companies for pricing and he was by far the best deal for the area. Once the day of our tour arrived, all we had to do was be ready at our hotels and then Luke took care of the rest. This was a great way to see Sonoma and I would recommend Luke to anyone looking for a winery tour!

Even after visiting others in the region, this truly set the bar too high that no others compared! Located in a beautifully scenic area, we absolutely loved the drive from Winters to Nichelini, stopping at some scenic spots along the way. When arriving, we were blown away by how cool the historic house was and the valley it was located in. Tastings take place inside the historic home, where you can see old photographs of the home and generations of family members who have run the winery. Reservations weren't necessary which seems like more of the exception in the area which was perfect, though e had made some beforehand online to be safe. We absolutely loved all of the wines we tried, and Tony was amazing in guiding us through the tasting process, with us trying wines that aren't normally our style, though we really enjoyed at Nichelini. They walked us through the wines in such a helpful way to really understand each in a very approachable way. We absolutely loved how as people who like wine but aren't very knowledgeable that this really was a really great experience to learn more. Everyone at the winery couldn't have been more nice or welcoming, with us staying to talk and try wines over a few hours. When we mentioned that we were taking a trip celebrating our new engagement, they were sure to make it extra special, which we appreciated so much and will always make this a special place in our hearts! I think this will have to become a special anniversary spot in the future after the wedding to come back and celebrate!

For our first time in the area, this set the bar extremely high for how friendly our hosts were and how beautiful the winery is. After surviving wildfires and the tests of time, the main building from the 1800s holds so much history, as evidenced by the numerous photographs lining the walls. The signature tasting consisted of four hand-selected wines: 2024 Moscato, 2023 Caterina Reserve, 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon, and a 2022 Petite Sirah. I was wary of the moscato at first because i don't like sweet wine, but this one actually has a sweet flavor without the sugary taste. The next wine on the tasting was the Caterina Reserve, an oak-barrel aged white wine unlike any other I've had before. My favorite wine was the Zinfandel, a red wine that had a nice smoothness and semi dry. We got a bottle to take home for a special occasion. Overall, the Nichelini Family Winery is hands-down my favorite winery in the region and a must-try for anyone visiting!
