Anita knocked it out of the park at our wedding!!! We loved the florals so so so much! The ceremony was just absolutely ethereal; I almost wished I wasn't the one getting married so I could've had more time and attention to appreciate them! And I adored my beautiful bouquet. I liked it so much that I am getting it preserved! Thank you Anita so much for helping make our weekend an absolute dream. read more

We could not have asked for a better florist for our fall 2025 wedding! Anita was amazing from start to finish--she understood our vision and brought it to life even more beautifully than we imagined. Communication was seamless and reassuring throughout the entire process, which made planning so much less stressful. The floral arrangements were stunning--huge custom deep jewel tones with a bunch of greenery that perfectly matched the vibe of our venue. Every detail felt intentional and thoughtfully designed. We received so many compliments from our guests, and I'm still in awe thinking about how gorgeous everything turned out. Highly recommend! read more

I didn't have a day-of coordinator for my small and intimate elopement at Carneros Resort in Napa and Anita and her team made sure I didn't need to lift a finger the day of. Our florals were magical and really elevated the ceremony and dinner reception effortlessly. It was everything we could have wanted and then some! I also very much appreciate that this was such a smooth and painless process. Florals were one of the things that seemed the most intimidating to me, but Anita made it so fun and easy! read more

Anita/Wine Country Flowers is AMAZING! We used Wine Country Flowers for our wedding flowers in October. Flowers were a center piece at our wedding and we had it used as our main decorations. They did incredible work with all of our different floral arrangements! Throughout the whole process, Anita took the time to really understand our vision and color scheme. Every color and flower she chose was exactly what we were looking for! A couple weeks before our wedding, we had one final call and she even added a few missing items we had last minute to make sure our night was perfect! One example was that Anita was sweet enough to include a small floral arrangement for our cake last minute. She arrived onsite early to our venue and did all the set up seamlessly. She even took the time to put on the boutonnieres on all the men and showed the women how to hold the bouquet correctly for the best pictures. I truly cannot recommend Wine Country Flowers enough, they did amazing and we received so many compliments throughout the whole night! Thank you so much Anita for all you did! read more

Anita was an absolute delight! She's creative, enthusiastic, professional, and flexible. She was able to work with our budget and create something that exceeded our expectations! When my mom and I arrived at her barn in Sonoma country, we were met with warm, positive, reassuring energy. Anita was a great thought partner; she walked me through options and inspirational photos for my vision to take shape! She offered up great suggestions, including, but not limited to: decorating my grandma's (a former florist) walker, having my other two granmas as flower girls, a flower pillow made out of fresh flowers for our ring bearer, and my favorite, the most beautiful array of fresh flowers for my hair that made my look unique and vibrant. Anita was on top of everything from start to finish, checking in with me on floor plans, guest counts, etc., and she even fulfilled my last-minute request for an extra 200+ extra candle votives around the barrel room. I wish I could get married again just to hang out with Anita! Book with her, and you will not regret it. She's the energy that all brides need! read more

This is an overdue raving review for Anita and Wine Country Flowers. November 7th, Anita created a magical fall floral wonderland for our wedding at the Sonoma Mission Inn. Starting with our first meeting, Anita made every effort to understand my taste, colors, and budget. I wasn't a simple client because we planned the wedding over two months, the guest count grew from 45 to 97, the floor plan changed from a buffet to plated dinners, and at the last minute, I added extra corsages and boutonnieres. I was also wearing a dusty pink dress and liked succulents and unusual flowers. My bouquet and all the flower arrangements blew us away. They were stunning, incorporated my colors, and gave a feeling of warmth and joy. The roses were the largest I've ever seen and burst with fragrance. All the arrangements lasted for weeks after the ceremony. I was highly impressed that Anita personally handled every aspect of the delivery. She delivered the personal flowers to the correct rooms and at the hotel and personally decorated the indoor and outdoor environments. We were pretty surprised to find that she created a few extra arrangements to adorn the room. Anita, thank you for adding much splendor to the wedding ceremony and celebration, You're an artist, and I appreciate being the recipient of your talent and generosity. read more

I gave Anita color inspo and a few of my favorite flowers and she knocked it out of the park! She is so creative and made the most stunning arrangements. Anita went above and beyond with our vision for our wedding. We met her to go over what we wanted and she took her time going over all of the arrangements she had brought to life in other weddings. We told her what we wanted and she knew exactly what to show us. She communicates very well and it very detailed. We went over the order a few times and she gave her honest opinion on what is needed and what we could do without. The whole process was seamless. The day of the wedding came and she was so organized when it came to putting everything together and even helping my mother in law with the sofreh when she needed more flowers. The ceremony and the reception was a dream. This is long over due! However, Anita is the absolute BEST florist EVER!! My now husband and I were planning on a May 2020 wedding, but as we all know that wasn't going to happen. Luckily, after multiple venue changes we were able to have our wedding in July. With every venue change Anita always had amazing ideas on how to make our florals work with that space. Anita Isaza, owner of Wine Country Flowers, is a florist of astonishing talent, with deep expertise in her craft and a steadfast work ethic. While I had a very defined sense of the style and palette I wanted for our wedding, I am not knowledgeable about flowers. My talented planner, Kendra Nixon, recommended Anita to me--an absolutely brilliant call that I will always be grateful for! Anita guided us every step of the way, curating a stunning floral selection that was pitch perfect for the season, our venue, and our style. She was an easy-going collaborator who immediately understood and embraced our vision, contributing substantively to make it better. Anita was the one who came up with the idea of the gorgeous tree wrap for our ceremony--something I never would have conceived of but absolutely loved. And while Anita is big on vision, she also digs in and gets the work done, on time and in budget. I never had to worry about that. She worked seamlessly with our planner, our baker and our other vendors. When the bowls I had bought for the dining table bouquets ended up being too small, she helped us find new ones, get them painted to coordinate perfectly with our table settings, and even went above and beyond to arrange for the sale of the bowls we weren't using. From a day filled with love and beauty, Anita's flowers have emerged as one of our very favorite memories. I still tear up every time I see the flowers in our pictures, and I know my darling husband and I will always treasure their beauty when we look at our pictures over our lifetimes together. I whole heartedly recommend Anita and her team at Wine Country Flowers as you make plans for the wedding of your dreams. My very best wishes to you. I am so incredibly happy that we had Anita Isaza from Wine Country Flowers do all the florals for our wedding!! I would highly recommend her. She is such a hard worker, extremely professional, very friendly, and really works with you to figure out your vision. This was a destination wedding for us since we now live in Colorado. I printed out pictures of flowers/colors that I liked, and brought them with me to CA in August, a month and a half prior to our wedding. My meeting with Anita went well, and she appreciated having pictures of things I liked (colors, types of flowers, styles and looks of bouquets, etc.). My now-mother-in-law and I looked through all of Anita's portfolios and gave a lot of "yes, I like that!" to "no, definitely not!" while Anita took down notes and started forming an idea of what I wanted. One of my big things was that I wanted a mixture of bright, sunset-like colors...yellows, pinks, oranges, blushy colors...and nothing "tight"...I wanted a mixture of textures in something somewhat "loose"...none of those helmet-like, totally-round type of bouquets. If you look at the pictures I uploaded, you will see that Anita carried out my vision!! Another issue was to have colors that were warm and would work with gold tablecloths, and also, more importantly work with my husband's military uniform which is a mixture of blues, maroon red, golds, etc. The flowers really worked with everything. I was so, so happy! My husband also thought the florals were beautiful. I also requested to have Anita supply fresh flowers for our wedding cake from Michelle Marie's Patisserie. Since we were going to do a white-on-white buttercream frosting design, there wouldn't be too much problem with adding fresh flowers on the cake and flower petals on the table. It was gorgeous!! We also rented votives from Anita which added a beautiful, warm touch and glow to everything. A last note...since we live in Colorado, were getting married in California, and honeymooning in Hawaii, we would not be able to keep any arrangements for ourselves. I decided to purchase floral vases through Anita so we could have our guests take home the centerpieces. They just loved them! We did also take along the large florals (that were in urns on columns) back to the hotel. My niece and nephew took out as many flowers as they could to give to their teachers that week. They were so excited about that. Anita, it was such a pleasure to work with you, and I just can't thank you enough!! Your hard work helped to make our day so very beautiful and memorable. Our guests kept talking about how beautiful our wedding was, and part of that is due to you!! Thanks again!! read more

Anita did the flowers for our wine country wedding in October 2014, and they came out beautifully! I wanted orange for fall, but didn't know much beyond that. When I first met with Anita, she showed me pictures from past weddings she's done that gave me some great ideas, and she used her very thorough knowledge about flowers to recommend what would be in season and look great at that time of year. The end result was amazing! My bouquet was incredibly gorgeous, and my bridesmaids' bouquets (which were just smaller versions of mine) really popped against their navy dresses. Anita wrapped the bottoms in a navy satin to match the dresses, and she added a pretty brooch to mine, which made it extra special. I had asked her to go a little smaller on my bouquet from her original estimate, and I was glad I did since I'm pretty small and my bouquet was huge and very heavy (should have worked out more before the wedding!). We wanted a slightly modern feel to our flowers, so we used a variety of clear glass vases - she had a lot to choose from in different shapes and sizes. She did two large arrangements in tall cylindrical glass vases for the ceremony, which sat on top of two wine barrels surrounding us and looked unbelievable against the fall backdrop. She also hung flowers from the aisle chairs using navy ribbon to match our colors. For the table centerpieces, she did low square vases (I always hate when the flowers are too tall, making it harder to talk across the table) with small votive candles surrounding them. She was able to make a great recommendation for how large we should go on the centerpiece based on the size of tables we were using. Anita was very patient as I went back and forth on whether to do extra arrangements for accent tables or not. I was trying to be slightly budget-conscious, so in the end, I think we only had her do one extra arrangement for the welcome table, and then our wedding coordinator moved around some of our arrangements and even used the bridesmaids' bouquets to accent the inside tables when we were done with the outdoor areas, which was a great compromise. Some people mention price being an issue, but I didn't feel that Anita pressured me at all to add extra arrangements. I'm not sure how Wine Country Wedding Flowers compares to others since I didn't shop around after seeing the work on her website, but her prices didn't seem unreasonable to me, and you really do pay for what you get when it comes to flowers. Before I started wedding planning, I didn't think that flowers would be one of those really important things for me, but I'm so glad that I ended up making it more of a priority - it makes a huge difference for the look & feel of your wedding to have beautiful flowers throughout, and makes your wedding photos look that much more amazing to have a gorgeous bouquet. I was so happy with how the flowers turned out for our wedding, and I would definitely recommend contacting Anita as early as possible to lock her in for your wedding date! read more

Anita totally killed it with our wedding flowers at Viansa in May 2016. I will freely admit that I am a bit of a control freak. Choosing the flowers for our wedding was one of the most difficult aspects of wedding planning for me. First, I know almost nothing about flowers. Second, I was all over the place when it came to my vision for flowers. And finally, I was planning the entire wedding from Texas with the exception of one visit a few months before the big day. That being said, Anita is the ultimate professional. She takes SO much time getting to know you and your vision for your wedding. There are questionnaires and meetings and LOTS of pictures to review, all to get the creative process going. She also creates inspiration boards for each couple. So even though I wasn't the best at communicating a consistent design theme, Anita still was able to read between the lines and create the most perfect wedding flowers. I was absolutely floored the day of our wedding when she arrived with our flowers--they were even better than I imagined! I could not have been happier! She is incredibly knowledgeable and you can tell the minute you meet her how passionate she is about her job. I also really appreciate that Anita stuck firmly to our budget and was upfront and realistic with me about how to stretch our dollar while still getting the look I was going for (ex. less peonies, more garden roses.) She was also great about adapting to my ever-evolving vision. We even exchanged texts and phone calls in the weeks leading up to the big day to hammer out final details! To other reviewers who said Anita seemed "annoyed" at times, I have to disagree. I think she is persistent in asking the right questions in order to understand her client's vision so that she can execute her designs to perfection. Although Anita was 100% upfront with us at the beginning about this, it is important to note that as of now (May 2016) she does not accept credit cards. So if you're planning on paying for parts of your wedding with a credit card, it can't be this! Anita, thank you for helping to create the wedding of my dreams! I contacted Anita (& a few other florists) last year when I started wedding planning. Her initial quote was not bad compared to others. I LOVED the pictures I saw online of her work & style. I wanted classic, lush elegance. Not a fan of the loose bouquets with lots of greenery that're so popular now. She invited me to her farm to chat & see more. Since flowers were important to me, my mom & I made the trek from the East Bay. We instantly loved Anita! She was so warm, welcoming & personable. I booked her for my date soon after! Throughout wedding planning Anita was in touch, making sure to get details from me that would help with the vision. I knew she got me & my vision and knew my flowers would be gorgeous. I actually made some last minute changes to the centerpieces, to which she did not mind at all. I felt so bad, but she assured me it's normal to be indecisive while planning my wedding!! lol The thing I was most impressed with... while making changes to centerpieces, I threw some ideas out. Anita helped me to work with my budget, the overall vision (my reception was in Gloria Ferrer's wine cave), assuring that everything would be aesthetically appealing & "make sense". I easily would have spent more money (hubs wouldn't have been happy!), but Anita changed my layout to what would look best, & it actually saved me money!! Planning a wedding, you often feel like some vendors are trying to add-on, then your budget spirals out of control. NOT the case with Anita! When my wedding day came Anita personally delivered my bouquet. I was beyond stressed & anxious, but seeing her and my gorgeous bouquet made me so happy. I can't say enough about Anita & her team. So many guests could not believe how gorgeous my centerpieces were, and myself and my bridesmaids all loved our bouquets. I will say, almost 4 months later, I am still heartbroken that my photographers somehow "forgot" to take photos of the centerpieces. They were one of my FAVORITE things about my wedding. Sigh! :( Well, if you are thinking about booking Wine Country Flowers for your wedding, do it! Do it NOW! You will quickly learn through wedding planning that the best vendors get booked quickly. & Anita and her team are the best! read more

Flowers were a wild card for our wedding. We were working on a very tight budget and my wife and I are both into very simple, super modern arrangements, but neither of us knew exactly what we wanted our flowers to look like. After almost a month of looking, we hadn't found anything or anyone in our price range or to our liking and then - just like that! - we ran across Anita at Wine Country Flowers. I think Anita was a flower in a previous life. She knows the pros and cons of literally every species of flower on the planet and her portfolio is really diverse (country to modern to eclectic). After explaining to her what sort of colors and styles we liked, she began pulling photos of arrangements she'd done in the past. We quickly found a number of things we liked and Anita worked with us to change things up and really make the arrangements our own. Looking back on our big day, my wife and I loved all of the flowers, but our centerpieces - in particular - were in a class all their own. A number of people told us they were the most dramatic arrangements they'd ever seen! They were the highlight/hero of our decor, made a serious statement about our design sense, and Anita rocked 'em! So, if you're looking for a creative, friendly, flexible, extremely talented florist head to Wine Country Flowers. You won't be disappointed. Yes, Anita's work was professional and she was able to bring out what I wanted on our wedding. However, there was something to note about her attitude. She looked and sounded annoyed when my mother in law and I were in for the first consultation and came up with too many ideas which resulted us to go over the time frame. And when I mentioned that her 1st quotation was $500 over our budget, she said "it is ONLY $500 more". We were very realistic about the budget and were not those millionaire clients she may always have dealt with. So I was not happy with what she said. Anyway, we reduced some of the flowers and stayed within our budget. I was really specific but my request was really simple. There were ONLY two color scheme for the flowers and I was not picky about the type of flower as long as they had the color. And I just wanted to differentiate the bride and groom from other wedding party. And I was shocked to hear Anita saying "I know you are very picky and we will try our best but things will slip on the day." Yes, we had a wonderful wedding and I could not ask for more. However, only after the wedding, I noticed the rest of wedding party had the color in their boutonniere/corsage which I specified that was only for the bride and groom. Therefore, they slipped and screwed up my order. Overall, she did an amazing job and I was really happy to see all the beautiful flowers she and her team created. And I believe she knows about flowers well and knows what she is doing. But her attitude was rather arrogant.... G'luck on your big day! read more

I will be honest - growing up, I never had dreams or fantasies about my wedding day. Yet, when the planning started and the day came - flowers ranked as a number one priority. Yes, even over the food, cake ....and my dress. Anita is an amazing, talented artist. Her work is incredible!! When I looked through her portfolio of work I was in awe! During my first meeting with Anita I was only certain that I wanted beautiful, autumn colors and a large bridal bouquet. I left the meeting with a feeling that no matter what she delivered - I felt confident it would be amazing. She offered guidance and suggestions throughout the entire planning process, always mindful of our budget. It was evident that she knew her work so I trusted her input entirely. I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the beautiful flowers on our wedding day! Everything was absolutely PERFECT! All the arrangements were gorgeous! I have received so many wonderful compliments and inquiries about who did the floral arrangements and gladly will refer anyone to Anita... Thank you so much Anita!!! read more

Anita is incredible! I had no idea what I wanted in terms of flowers. I'd chosen a pretty vineyard for the wedding (Viansa), and so I didn't feel like I needed a lot of embellishments. Unlike the other florists who persisted in asking questions for which I had no answers, Anita just dropped some books in front of me and asked me to point out what I liked and didn't like. She then asked some more questions and within a short amount of time she had great recommendations (Tuscan colors to go with the Italian theme and some awesome iron centerpieces). When I had to choose tablecloths, she also gave me great recommendations (dark & shiny to pick up the candlelight). Anita made everything so easy, and I was thrilled with the way all of the flowers and bouquets looked! read more

Getting married for the first time (luckily!) means that you don't have a clue what to expect, the right questions to ask, or what red flags to look out for. I found it to be extremely helpful that Anita wouldn't just go along with whatever we hypothesized, but instead gently added her valuable input as to what works and what doesn't. She knows exactly what looks best with different lighting, what is in season at all times and how to coordinate with the overall wedding color scheme. When it comes to a wedding you have enough on your plate so this is why I give Anita 5 stars. 1) She was always prompt with answering questions and getting us information when she said she would. 2) She was EARLY for our wedding day. (We had two separate wedding locations and she came prepared to both.) And trust me, even when someone is exactly on time you'll be stressing about it. 3) Reasonably priced in the insane world of wedding costs 4) And perhaps most importantly she made fantastic arrangements for us. We had her do all the flowers for our ceremony location (in a vineyard) as well as our centerpieces, bouquets and boutonnieres. My only advice to make her life and yours easier is to bring in photos of flowers/arrangements from all the wedding magazines you will inevitably accumulate! At least that will give you a starting point. read more

Anita Isaza did the flowers for my wedding in July - and I absolutely could not have been happier! It was a destination wedding, which can be a little scary when it comes to the floral arrangements - but she was so professional, prompt with replies and patient with my questions that I felt totally confident...and the results were more than I could have hoped for! We only met once and I brought print-outs of ideas I liked - but she got such a good sense of me, my style and the wedding I envisioned through that meeting and our follow up conversations that our flowers were literally everything I dreamed they'd be! Everything went so quickly that day - but the true test is the photographs, and even when looking at the close-ups and the big picture - and I said multiple times "wow, that was EXACTLY what I hoped the pictures would look like!" - she did it! A side note about her customer service - it was over 100 degrees on our wedding day (yikes!), which can be a little frightening for the flowers, especially when our wedding ceremony was at 12:30 but reception didn't start until 5 PM...but she and her assistant made multiple trips between the church and our reception location and took flowers on and off ice in order to keep everything fresh - I could tell that she truly cares about her work and really wanted to keep everything perfect. Her personal touch and the fact that she was present that day really made a big difference. Highly recommended! read more

When we went in to meet with Anita I was pretty sure about what I wanted but was open to her thoughts as well. I felt like after that first meeting we got 85% of the way there. But as always happens during the wedding planning process I just wasn't sure about a few things and she was more than happy to meet with us again. After our second meeting I left feel totally confident that she would create exactly what I had pictured for my dream wedding - and she did! The best part about working with Anita was that the channels of communication were always open. If I had a question or another idea I would just shoot her an email or give her a call and her responses were always immediate and constructive. As wedding days always do, our wedding day whizzed by and I realized I never really took in how beautiful all of the arrangements were. After getting our wedding photos and our wedding film back, I have an even greater appreciation for how beautiful and professional a job she really did. Our wedding was almost a year ago and I still get comments from people about how much they adored the floral décor! Thank you Anita! It was such a pleasure working with you!! read more

We hired Anita to do the floral for our wedding in October 2018. I could not have been more happy with how everything turned out! Anita took the time to sit down with us and go over all of the details to make sure she knew exactly what we wanted. When it came time to go over more in depth details and pricing she was always fast to respond and always got back to us in a timely manner. She was more than willing to modify pieces we really wanted to make sure it was closer to the price range we were looking for while still keeping our vision intact! Anita is literally amazing. The day of our wedding when everything arrived it was exactly how I envisioned and the colors were perfect! I don't know how she does it! A short while before the wedding I realized I needed more floral for our guest entryway. Anita took the time to make an amazing chandelier piece to go over our guest card table. Trust her visions they are amazing! It looked like something out of a movie! Anita made the most AMAZING wedding flowers for me. They were exactly as I had imagined and I couldn't believe how beautiful they were when I arrived to the venue on the day. Anita was lovely through the whole process, totally understood and was patient with me when I changed my mind at the last minute about a few things! Anita also helped me out at the last minute to add flowers to my cake when my cake supplier didn't come through. If you need flowers for your wedding, do yourself a favor and speak with Anita.
