I visited this store today looking for a specific product, but I couldn't find it, so I chose a…read moresimilar item and proceeded to check out. While I was paying, I asked the cashier if he knew when the product I wanted would be back in stock. He wasn't sure, so he called over another employee who appeared to be the manager. This employee had already seen me standing at the register paying for my items and waiting for them to be bagged. When he came over, instead of greeting me professionally, he abruptly asked, "What do you need?" in a rushed and unfriendly tone. As I was holding the items I had just purchased, he then asked, "Are you buying those?" When I replied yes, he immediately asked, "Where's your receipt?" At that moment, the cashier realized he had forgotten to hand me my receipt. He quickly gave it to me and explained to the manager that I had already paid for my purchase. The manager responded by saying he had seen me carrying the items and walking toward the exit, apparently assuming I hadn't paid. Being questioned like that in front of other customers was embarrassing and made me feel as though I was being treated like a shoplifter, despite having done nothing wrong. Afterward, he returned to my original question about the product I was looking for. He simply told me they no longer carried that brand. When I asked if he knew when it might be back in stock or if there was a similar alternative, he replied "no" in what came across as an annoyed and dismissive manner. He didn't make any effort to check the inventory system or offer any assistance. I understand that mistakes and misunderstandings can happen, and I appreciate that preventing theft is part of a store's responsibility. However, there's a respectful and professional way to handle those situations. Unfortunately, the way I was treated left me feeling embarrassed, judged, and unwelcome. I left the store feeling genuinely disappointed. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and reminds employees that good customer service includes treating every customer with respect and professionalism.

They have a pretty good selection. The worker is kind. Clean and safe! Ended up getting the Oyster Pinot Noir. Had some for lunch. It was smooth and really good. Nice little buzz! They offer multiple options from basically all of the local microbreweries, including seasonal releases. They also have quite a few beers from breweries that are within an hour or so of Fresno. In addition to beer, they have a huge soft drink selection, and a lot of different liquors too (just quickly browsing, I saw a ton of bourbons/whiskeys). Prices are fairly average. Parking is super convenient and their hours are good too. Definitely a great place to visit if you are looking for local craft beer!

Like many other reviewers, I primarily shop at World Market for their selection of reasonably priced interesting and international snacks. On this particular occasion, I purchased a Fanta "exotic tropical soda." $3 for one can of soda is a lot, but I was reallllly thirsty, and it was "exotic." It really is probably my favorite flavor of tropical soda I've ever tried. The store location was clean, well lit, and well organized. It was easy to find what I was looking for, which was the selection of international drinks on the back wall. Other than Fanta, World Market also carries all kinds of chips, cookies, crackers, candy, condiments, and small snacks from all around the world. The clearance section was much smaller than the one in Folsom. I'm not sure if this was due to timing, or due to a higher number of customers browsing the clearance in Fresno. The checkout line was unbearably long, especially since I was thirsty. Not sure if they were short staffed or something. But when I got to the register, the cashier was friendly and everything. Overall good experience and I would check this location out again when I'm in the area again.
