Strawberry EVERYTHING! I love the strawberry margarita from Lime Cantina. Live music at so many stops, I was able to see Boo! and dance all night long. Highly recommend!

Like jam packed. With tons of people yes, but also so many wonderful vendors, small businesses, pockets of live music, and more. The main strip has to span a mile long and there is plenty to enjoy along the way. We generally don't even try to park close, and instead a neighborhood or two away. There are paved sidewalks winding through so it's a nice walk. This year, there was a new addition to the fest that we were immensely appreciative of. The park adjacent the strip (aka all the main action) offered a full set up, that catered mostly to families and kids. Incredible and much needed! We came to the festival with a few other families, and while we would have loved to spend time shopping all the vendors like we used to, it's so tough to do that crowd with strollers and small humans would want to run around. So consider this a THANK YOU! The new park add-on was such a blast. They had a wonderful band playing on stage in the pavilion, plenty of food and drink trucks, face painting, a little train tractor kids can ride on, a bouncey house, a playground, so much grass space to run/picnic/park your strollers, and more! It was great to still feel part of the festival here. All of us - especially the kiddos - really enjoyed the day! Can't wait to return next year and support all of the great small businesses that make this festival happen.

The town celebration is perfect for families, couples, friends, seniors, locals or visitors. There is something for everyone. I imagine when there is not a virus looming, this little town really bustles. On this Friday there were many people enjoying themselves, without a scary crowd. We were able to stroll, have a coffee, shop, dine and finish with a cocktail & live music at a tiny bed and breakfast without ever having to get too close to anyone. There's a ton of shops that line the street offering anything you can imagine. There is jewelry, clothing, gifts, home goods and yard decor just to name a few. You could visit one of the Five Festive Friday Eves and stay a few more days to see everything. I watched families with wagons, walk along putting out lights in bags that line the beautiful main street. Free trolley rides are available. The Rivoli Theater offers classic holiday movies. The Shops At Cedar Creek Settlement gave a way goodies & tote bags, there was a raffle and was decorated beautifully for the holidays. The Cedarburg Art Museum created an Enchanted Garden with holiday lights and a bonfire. Mr. & Mrs. Claus even have a small home built with a mailbox for letters to Santa. Just down the road is Herman A Zeunert Park. You can drive through and experience their holiday lights. A donation as you enter is very much appreciated. In addition to all this excitement, there are a ton of restaurants and pubs. I did not go in but peeked in the windows. They all seemed to have the crowds nicely spaced out. There are so many choices. There is American fare, Mexican, pizza, crepes and even a nice steakhouse. Checking out the wineries, local breweries and even a moonshiery that offers moonshine and whiskey is a must on a later visit. I fell in love with this adorable town and cannot sing it's praises enough. Five Festive Friday Eves embodies everything a small town stands for - family, fun and the holiday spirit!

Families came out for 9 holes of free Putt-putt sponsored by local businesses, autumn treats, face painting, a pumpkin derby, and music on the Paramount Plaza! I love my little Village for all the family fun! This Festival was all about multigenerational entertainment. It was fun to see all the little ones cheering their grandparents at the 8th hole where I represented the Grafton Multipurpose Senior Center & The Grafton Recreation Department. I also noticed there were lots of Dads with their little girls out this weekend too. Way to go Dads! Kudos to all the parents who showed up on a rather chilly day with their kids to have fun. The Village made the day special for everyone by not charging for the Putt-putt activity. The food and beverages were pretty cheap so you could afford to feed the kids a grilled cheese sandwich or buy a baked goodie from the Legion Auxiliary. The entertainment was stop-and-listen-dance-if-you-want-to free! The closing event was a pumpkin derby where the youngest Villagers got to race their pumpkins to see which ones rolled the fastest across a finish line. Parents and neighbors cheered on the enthusiasm of NASCAR fans! Too cute! It looked like a fun day for all ages!

This years line up included Calliope Canvasmen Bang Bang Ladders American Monroe Jim Demski Newboyz club ECBB Extra crispy brass band DJ Selector Z It was my third year going I've came to see some of my friends play. It's not exactly a public event. You won't see much advertising or flyers. It's word of mouth and a FB event page. usually on last Saturday weekend in August. one year they tried having it on Labor day weekend the turn out was way less due to other smaller events. Rain or shine and I've seen both. So I prefer cooler and wet vs hot and miserable. Originally it was a day to clear up and burn up all the cuttings from the previous year of Hoppe Tree Service. All kinds of stumps, shrubs, tree trimmings along with various items. It is by invite only friends of friends so if you are invited you will be guaranteed a parking and camping spot. Suggested Donations of $20 can be done on line or in person. This is a camping music festival they don't have food vendors so pack your own food drink and grill. The tent campsite will not allow motorized vehicles so be prepared to carry things about 100 feet or drop off and walk in. This year a majestic white horse will be available for the extra VIP supporters. Special shout out to Mike Lucaszewiczs Fred and Melissa Hoppe August and Bob along with many of the volunteers that helped with setup take down and clean up. Food bring it make it carry it in Amb 5 think summerfest with one stage and you know almost everyone. If not. They may know you. Service 3 if you don't know the area don't drive beyond the parking lot. Plenty of areas are swamp you will get stuck and it's a pain pulling vehicles out of mud. Location 5 Grafton exit at the end of arrowhead rd. watch for small signs. Value 5 52/2015

This is such a cool winery. They just opened in March and have dazzling beach photos on the wall…read more It feels like I was somewhere tropical. They also have wine and tropical merchandise to purchase. The wines are made from tropical fruits. The range from sweet to dry and are offering free wine tasting. You are given a sheet that list all the wines and you have the opportunity to try six wines. Plus you get to try a wine slushy. Some of the wines I tried were: key lime, white gold peach, Florida banana (tasted like eating a fresh banana), coco polada (their take on a pina colada), and strawberry blush. The Hot Sun is their take on a bloody mary and smells like a tomato. Overall, it was a great experience and the wine pours are very generous. The bartenders were very nice and you can tell they were having fun explaining all the wines. Definitely a must try!

We came just after opening on a Friday- Megan, the owner, was there to great us and was very friendly and answered questions we had about the wine and smoothie mixes they have for sale. None of the wines are made by "Sunshine Winery" but instead are all brought in from a winery in Florida. The craziest thing is that NONE of the wines in the shop contain any grapes. I have never tried a wine that didn't have grapes in it!! We took advantage of the great offer to sample any 6 wines- I am not a huge fan of banana flavored items but decided to taste the banana wine and it tastes just like a banana laffy taffy! My favorite was probably the "Blueberry Blue" - it was listed under a dry wine but I would say it still had a sweet finish. I do think most of the wines I tried are too sweet to enjoy much more than a glass but I am still amazed that there are that many wines made from non-grape fruits. I think it will be an even better place to visit once they are able to sell wine by the glass. Again, I wasn't ready to commit to being able to drink a bottle of the wine since it was sweet but would definitely come in for a glass. The location is super cute & full of bright colors. The also sell smoothies & we sampled two of the flavors while here- they are designed to be made with wine mixed in so that will be a great feature too once wine can be sold by the glass. We left with a bottle of the orange cream smoothie mix & I cant wait to try this at home! Thank you for a fun experience during our visit!
