The course is beautiful, with a manageable front and long back 9 (6500 yrs) from the middle tees. The course is open and even high handicap golfers will not lose many balls; there are really only a few spots on the course that are truly out of bounds. The staff is typically very friendly, Jeremy who manages the bag room is particularly nice. The pros are all great too. The whole place is well maintained, as they do host PGA (junior/womens) events from time to time. The greens play very fast towards the end of summer, and some of them slope in ways that will really frustrate anyone. Price-wise, the place is on the upper end if you have no college affiliation (about 140 or so) but is exceptionally cheap for students (35 dollars) so definitely a place to visit if you are in the area and still in school. The course truly cannot be recommended enough, and it offers some exceptional views of both the Williams College campus and the surrounding areas.

Did Around…read morethe World first followed by Around the USA. 18 holes around the world to different countries and well maintained courses...mainly 2,3 and 4 par obstacles... Only 1 hole in 1 for me in Brazil. Overall fun. Stay and play Around the USA for 18 interesting states of interesting were cool as well. All around fun was had. Luckily, Bay Meadows accepted our business and were so great at getting us 2 sims for indoor golf. The service was exceptional and the groom couldn't stop talking about how great of a time he had! It was a night and day difference going from a business who's owner belittled me and the groom I had planned for months in advance, to a business with truly caring owners who took us at the last minute and made all of us feel welcomed and valued! The indoor sims were great , but the food, beer and incredible service sold me! Now, 9 years later, I moved closer to this area and my wife and I were looking for a driving range for our kids. It was heartwarming to see that the service continues to be outstanding!

bizarre. i bought a membership in may. the price was cheap so i figured why not? before i had a…read morechance to play i got very sick so was not able to use the membership until september when the season is nearly done. so i go to play and was charged $3 more for a cart than the listed price and then harangued for not paying more for my membership. "for what we sold those memberships for we've got to get our money back!" I thought i had done a good thing by giving them money they sorely needed after the covid year. nope, wrong again honey. my net loss so far is $262. it is a good course for bragging about your score to people who have never played there. just a typical driver- wedge muni that could use some groundwork.

So the State Seal Spring is the marquee destination here, but for something worse-tasting but more unique the Geyser spring is within the same structure. Unfortunately the Charlie spring near the SPAC entrance wasn't flowing as of mid-December. The pine trees get five stars. I wish there were bathrooms available but that could be a seasonal thing. The park is technically reachable by bus but you might have to a wait a bit.
