The course is beautiful, with a manageable front and long back 9 (6500 yrs) from the middle tees. The course is open and even high handicap golfers will not lose many balls; there are really only a few spots on the course that are truly out of bounds. The staff is typically very friendly, Jeremy who manages the bag room is particularly nice. The pros are all great too. The whole place is well maintained, as they do host PGA (junior/womens) events from time to time. The greens play very fast towards the end of summer, and some of them slope in ways that will really frustrate anyone. Price-wise, the place is on the upper end if you have no college affiliation (about 140 or so) but is exceptionally cheap for students (35 dollars) so definitely a place to visit if you are in the area and still in school. The course truly cannot be recommended enough, and it offers some exceptional views of both the Williams College campus and the surrounding areas.

It was our 22nd consecutive year there but the 17 raising money in my Dads name. From the time we got there till we left the Cronins and there staff just Never say No to whatever we ask them for. Course is in Fabulous shape thanks James and the breakfast and dinners were over the top. Thanks to John and Kristen for the meals. The bartenders Sage in the day and young James Sara and a special thanks to Pat who was behind the stick on Friday and Saturday night. We all can't wait to get back up there next year.

Only 1 hole in 1 for me in Brazil. Overall fun. Stay and play Around the USA for 18 interesting states of interesting were cool as well. All around fun was had. Luckily, Bay Meadows accepted our business and were so great at getting us 2 sims for indoor golf. The service was exceptional and the groom couldn't stop talking about how great of a time he had! It was a night and day difference going from a business who's owner belittled me and the groom I had planned for months in advance, to a business with truly caring owners who took us at the last minute and made all of us feel welcomed and valued! The indoor sims were great , but the food, beer and incredible service sold me! Now, 9 years later, I moved closer to this area and my wife and I were looking for a driving range for our kids. It was heartwarming to see that the service continues to be outstanding!

bizarre. i bought a membership in may. the price was cheap so i figured why not? before i had a…read morechance to play i got very sick so was not able to use the membership until september when the season is nearly done. so i go to play and was charged $3 more for a cart than the listed price and then harangued for not paying more for my membership. "for what we sold those memberships for we've got to get our money back!" I thought i had done a good thing by giving them money they sorely needed after the covid year. nope, wrong again honey. my net loss so far is $262. it is a good course for bragging about your score to people who have never played there. just a typical driver- wedge muni that could use some groundwork.

I've actually been to Saratoga several times before, and this was my first visit to the park, and it is BY FAR my favorite thing in Saratoga. The grounds are beautiful, and surprisingly large. The large buildings that house the Roosevelt Spas and more are well-kept, with the areas around them landscaped and looking like a beautiful college campus. There are also miles of hiking trails, equestrian trails, fishing, biking, disc golf, boating, and more. We weren't quite prepared, but walking around the park was enough. The tall trees, the running water...I just needed a little nature in my life. There is a reason that the Saratoga Springs are known far and wide, and the weirdly salty, effervescent water purportedly has a ton of beneficial properties. It also creates strange and wonderful rock formations, and you'll come across a few spigots where you can taste the water, and see how it affects the rock around it. I highly recommend doing a bit of exploring.

The numerous natural mineral springs are like little shrines and a hoot to sample - each one tastes different from the others, some more tolerable, some not; and all allegedly good for whatever ails you. Viewing the old spas and bathhouses (the Roosevelt baths) are stately and impressive. A nice visitor's center and gift shops are situated in a couple. During peak season, it costs $10 per car to enter the park - but it'd be worth it! - during this off-peak period it's no-charge. And the fall foliage colors are great!
