Now to try out one of those dog food samples.

I called at 8:05 on Monday morning because I had ran out of feed for my cattle. He asked when I needed it by and I told him that I ran out on Friday and I needed it as soon as they could deliver it. He said they would see what they could do. When I got home I asked my wife if they happened to make it out today and she said they were here before 1:00 for delivery. Now I'm not around the corner. I'm a good 40 miles away.

I went there to pick up some safflower seed for the feathered friends I see every day. I found the store to have EVERYTHING! I just had surgery and I thought I would give it a whirl just to see if I could bring up anything closer to Saint Charles so that I could get chicken food closer to home To my surprise, I found a location in Saint Charles and I never heard of it before and there were no reviews so I thought I would still drive up to it just to see. It is such a quaint, a little what seems like a small town country store. However, there is literally everything you need inside. We have chickens, dogs, and much more, and there's everything in the store that we could possibly need. Since I did mention, I previously just had surgery I asked the gentleman as soon as I walked in if he didn't mind helping me lift it out to my car. I told him exactly what I needed. He didn't walk me down the aisle. He knew exactly what I needed. He rang me out and brought it to my car and talk to me for about five minutes. I came from a small town in now live in the big city as I feel it is, and this location was so great with customer service, and made me feel like I was back in my small town Forget farm and home we will definitely be coming here for every thing we need from now on! I was in and out within less than two minutes. They even fill propane tanks for you for less than $14.

After arriving at the store she told me that they would have to now call the competitor store (Rural King) to make sure it was the right item. I was fine with that but after her call she told me she had terrible news. It was that RK currently did not currently have that item at the location she called. I found out that other locations from same competitor did have the item in stock and it could be sent to that store. So I asked her why they cant use that information? Then the girl said that they can only price match up to 20 miles from their store. I don't understand why that makes any difference when items are available and can be sent to the competitors store within their network and for free. So with a price difference of a $100 I got worst news, I will be going to the competitors and most likely not be returning to Buchheits. Reason number 1, PRICE! And number 2, is because of poor customer service.
