We bought our first yellow lab puppy from this breeder yesterday afternoon and returned back today…read moremorning (less than 24 hrs). The breeder has no refund policy 600 registration + 2900 price of the puppy. Please be aware. The puppy was almost 12 weeks old which was initially kept by the breeder for their Guardian program. We picked up on Saturday around 11:45am. Drove almost 2 hrs. To begin with the puppy threw up few times in the car and after coming home too. She had motion sickness to begin. We came home and gave water (Puppy had access to fresh water throughout). She did drink. She was running inside the house (little bit crazily and I understand because it's a new place) and would not even let her touch. So we tried to put a collar and put her on leash. Then took her outside to walk. She calmed a little bit down. From 2:15 2:45 pm walked. Then came home she had water. Throw up three times and pooped once in our small backyard. Later took her inside to put her in the pen where she would not sit at all or sleep. This is when she started barking. We left her alone inside the pen to have our lunch at 4:30pm. Took the puppy again for a walk as her barking became a bit louder. The cycle was walk , drink water and barking inside ex pen. Around 5:45pm we fed her dinner. Around 11ish we took for the last walk for the night. Put her to bed around 11:30pm. We had a bad experience with this puppy. If you had a huge home with backyard may be it would have worked. None of us slept the whole night. She was whining and barking throughout the night (which I understand all puppies do). The puppy would not stay inside the ex pen whatsoever. She would not let us pet her too. This puppy was constantly demanding us to take her out. Even at 11:30 pm. From 2 pm to 11:30 pm we were mostly out in and out. She never really went to sleep. As a first time owner, my experience with this breeder was this. I also felt that the breeder was not communicating to us well. Long story short, I wish the breeder at least gave $2900 back. I understand non refundable deposit for sure. I have seen my friends and neighbors owning dogs and yes they all had some initial issue but not like this. This was an expensive experience and I lost nearly $5000 on this puppy and puppy supplies. Having said this, I would request a refund ($2900) from this breeder. I went there only for a yellow lab as our son wished for that. This puppy was definitely a bit aggressive.

I left my dog here for what was supposed to be a 5-day stay while I was on vacation, but I ended up…read morehaving to get her picked up early after only 4 days. When my family dropped her off, they were told she could not leave her blanket or toy with her. However, the website clearly states that dogs are allowed to bring a blanket and a toy from home to help them feel comfortable. That is exactly why we brought those items, so this was confusing right from the start. The following day I called to check in and was told she was doing fine--eating, drinking, and adjusting well. I called again and was told the same thing. I asked if they could send me pictures of her, and when I received them I noticed a cut on the bottom of her chest. If I had not asked for photos, I don't believe I would have been notified about the injury at all. My dog has never cut herself before, so naturally as a dog parent you start worrying and thinking the worst. She is crate trained and sleeps in her crate at home, so it is normally her safe place. When I asked about the cut, they repeatedly told me they checked the kennels to make sure it was safe and suggested it could have been from a handler's collar getting stuck in her hair. However, my dog has very thin hair and the cut is nowhere near where a collar would normally sit, which made that explanation hard to believe. Another major concern was that their website advertises "all day play," yet in every picture they sent she was on a collar and leash. I was also told that they do not allow dogs to play with other dogs due to safety concerns, which directly contradicts what is advertised. Additionally, in the photos my dog looked very sad and withdrawn, when normally she is very happy and loves to play. This made me concerned that she may have been kept in a kennel and on a leash for most of the time she was there. Because of this, I immediately called family to pick up my dog early. The entire situation made me very uncomfortable and I did not feel confident leaving her there for the remainder of the stay. I chose this place because of the positive Google reviews, but after this experience I truly wish I had paid closer attention to the Yelp reviews as well. I will not be leaving my dog here again.
