I got the burger without a bun, on lettuce and well done all for $11 (plus tax). It was by far the BEST smash burger I've ever had!!! We sat outside on their covered and heated patio which is also dog friendly. The staff asked if my pup wanted a bone which was so incredibly kind and thoughtful. I will for sure be back for another Thursday burger deal again!!!

They answered all my silly questions and knew how to dig information out of me to understand what I wanted in meat so they could provide the best product. I have yet to enjoy their prepared foods but one day I am going to make a meal out of it. They have somosas, kebabs, sweet spud fries etc. This is one amazing market and it appears the island has embraced it as well. He answered my questions and grabbed the pieces I asked for instead of the biggest ones. I've cooked up half of what I bought and the meat is excellent. The shop is spacious and comfortable and has pantry items, freezer and dairy on the perimeter walls so if you need to wait it's not unpleasant to do so.

For instance when I approach the counter the owner is always prompt to greet me and for the pig trotters I always get, he'd give them a further shave and slice them into small pieces for me. I was able to find shisito peppers which are very difficult to find in grocery stores in the neighbourhood. Also, the pricing on majority of the produce was fairly affordable. The zucchini's were .69/lb whereas Save On Foods sells them for $1.99/lb. You can also find specialty meats, a hot bar (with buns, noodles, soups, etc.), a dessert case, cleaning and baby items. The only part of my experience here was the slow checkout/cashiers. But, since this was opening day it looks like they were just trying to figure it all out as they were giving away free gifts with purchase.

While they do sell pretty much the same kind of stuffs that you'd normally find in other stores, but this store does sell more Chinese oriented foods. Not by means of fresh produce mind you (meaning that in terms of fresh vegetables, they don't sell anything completely different from any other westernized grocery stores, but they DO sell things like sliced meats for hot pots, as well as certain sauces and certain cold pre-cooked meats that you'd normally only find in Asian markets, such as the cold precooked free ranged chicken with it's own green onion oil dipping sauce. In terms of prices, don't expect it to be a discount store as many of their items in this store claims to be free ranged, non-artificial ingredients and/or organic, and no GMO. So it's good for those who wants to eat a little bit more healthier if those claims are true. But the prices aren't really bad, just competitive. I highly recommend people get the salmon skins, you will find them in the bakery section, its actually very easy to miss if you don't know where to look. But if you find them, wooooowwww!!!!! It's kinda expensive but damn is it tasty!! Especially if you enjoy eating salmon. Be careful though, since it's deep fried, it's one of the few things they sell that's not exactly great for your health. Either way, this store is worth checking out if you are in the neighborhood.
