Got to the store, an employee was sitting in corner and completely ignored me for a few minutes. I ended up asking him if they had the card I had called about. 'I don't know' was his answer. Sat there no help at all and made NO attempt to offer how to assist. I finally asked 'is there anyone you can call to find out'? He sends a text to the owner. Owner replies with a price higher than he told me two days prior, which was $20 MORE than comps sold online. This wasn't the first time the owner told me one price, then when I got to the store, wanted a higher price. Seems to be a habit of his as well as having 'employees' in the store that are pretty much useless towards customers looking to spend money. Don't waste your time, you're far better off shopping online. You'll get cheaper prices with NO surprises and better service.

They have everything from cars, model planes, warhammer and GUNPLA. I have never seen the neku bosou series and I'm so happy that I found them here. The store is owned by a super nice couple and I am all about supporting small businesses. The prices are also very competitive! Every thing that is marked regular price is 20% off and they have a monthly competition where they gift a buyer $50 if you bought at least $20 worth of stuff. At the time of this review, it was my second visit in 20 days and I still came out with a huge haul (see pic). They are super active on their Facebook page always taking pictures of their latest arrivals. They also hold things for you at your request so that's how I came out with my next series of cats! The customer service at Rider's is exceptional. It's so easy…read morethese days to buy online but when you need help, you're on your own. Several times now the people at Rider's have helped me with programing my transmitter and airplane. I couldn't have done this on my own. This week they sent my broken Saito engine back to Horizon Hobby for repair. They did all the paperwork and packaging and covered the shipping cost. Two weeks later they called me to say that they have a brand new engine for me to pick up. No questions asked, no charge, not even for shipping. I can only imagine the heartburn I would have had to deal with if I had bought this engine online. We need to support our local hobby shop because their support is vital to us and our hobbies.

PS They got a nice selection of Gundam kits and accessories and have added Blookees Transformers and now getting more Bandai Ultraman kits!
