The girls bathroom is dirty/dinghy and always smells like a clogged toilet. I feel like the administrative/customer service side of things, they aren't 100% on top of it. They are slow to respond to emails, or just don't send their emails when they say they will. My other daughter that was going through evals to move up; the coach said they would email us and let us know her scores and if she was moving up or not, and we just never got an email from anyone. I've also heard from friends that they are not inclusive to autistic kids or kids with Down syndrome- stating they "don't have insurance for THAT." Don't really want to give my money to a gym that refers to kids in such a way. Also read up on some allegations about the owner that I would encourage others to look into.

I reported then to USAG and local police. There are now I believe 7 reports filed by CGC employee coaches with USAG of the coach AND owner JJ touching girls inappropriately. There is also an extensively researched news report detailing the owners behavior as observed first hand by other coaches.. Please please..... choose your child's mental health and long term joy over any one gym... much less one with so many reported inappropriate behaviors. Girls who experience inappropriate behaviors are affected for life... even when they observe it. Also, another owner, Kevin, whom I reported the behavior to, failed to report it to the police and CPS as required by law and strongly defended Derek who was later arrested and is no longer sanctioned by USAG thanks to a brave victim. The venue offers so many stunning spaces, from the spacious dining hall for meals to the stage/amphitheater with fire pits--perfect for s'mores and late-night stories. We exchanged vows at the top of a hill near the outdoor pavilion, with a gorgeous backdrop of pine trees and a view of Big Bear Lake in the distance. We were able to offer our guests camp activities like archery and a pool day, as well as had room to setup other activities like craft tables and lawn games. The biggest perk was the complete freedom to choose our own vendors, allowing us to create a truly personalized experience (huge shoutout to Scratch Kitchen for catering--our guests still rave about the food). We spent a year making signs, collecting décor, buying solar lights, and crafting to transform this Girl Scout camp into a full-blown wedding festival. They will take your money to add you to an imaginary waitlist, which they will then "pause" without notice and without a refund of your deposit. I inquired numerous times regarding my place on the waitlist, only to be given vague responses such as: 1. "We are still working our way through the waitlist" 2. "We have paused all Poway enrollment at this time, we are hoping to enroll new children very shortly into our center. I will be in touch with you soon once we start to move down the waitlist", and 3. "Once we come across your name on the waitlist and a spot becomes available I will be in touch with you immediately." It's the end of January 2023 and I have yet to hear from them. My family and I waited and waited to hear from them, and were not able asses our childcare options properly due to their lack of communication. At this point, I don't believe there is even a waitlist anymore, and i just lost $150 at no fault of our own. If I had removed myself from the waitlist I would understand not getting a refund, but that is not the case. I'm still here waiting for them to "come across my name." I got a couple texts back regarding pricing and then I was told I would be called back the following day with more information so I could schedule a lesson. No one ever called. Now I completely understand not having time to text all day, but when you say you are going to call, actually call. I just found it unprofessional and felt like they didn't care about my business since they couldn't even call me back when I was clearly ready to schedule a lesson. Also, if you can't respond to text, take that out of your contact method on your ad. Or if you don't want any new students stop posting so many ads.

Scheduling was very difficult, and lessons were often cancelled at the last minute. Multiple messages to schedule lessons were never returned. Multiple requests to refund the outstanding balance for these lessons (paid for but never provided) were never returned. Ignoring the problem does not make it disappear, Holly. You disappointed us, especially my daughter.
