Way out on the perimeter of the Seagrove Pottery Tour map is Windsong, if you can't make it out here, check out Seagrove Creations for dome Windsong Pottery- I actually ended up with several pieces! I bought a soup mug at Seagrove Creations on my very first day and on our last day- our route took us close enough for me to go oh-oh, one more shop! lol. A true testimony to small town living/country living- the shop was open, but on an honor system of paying cash of check for pieces. No one was there to greet us, other than the dogs. I recognized the glazes from the other shop in town and after circling the small shop a couple times, I found the seconds shelf! Discount works because of small flaws- every potter has those pieces! Meaning I was able to get 4 pieces of pottery for $20! What a deal. I picked out a crescent moon wall plaque, a vase, a oval platter and John found a star ornament. I wrote up the inventory list and left the cash on the tray. Production pottery in this area is reasonably priced! read more
