He measured incorrectly and had to reuse some of our old boards. He promised to return in the near future and we trusted him to do so. We were leaving on 9/14 to go to Texas and returning late 9/25 and expected it to be done by then. When we looked at the fence on 9/26 we found that the work had not been completed, but that was the least of our problems. Almost all of the boards have splits down the center leaving large cracks that are so large they can be seen through. When we called on 9/26 he said he had gotten the "best" boards from Home Depot and he didn't know what we were talking about, but he would come out that night or the next day to look. He did not, so we texted him many photos of the splits. He texted back that he would take care of it , even if he had to work on his day off, Sunday 10/1. He did not come that week. He did not come 10/1. He did not come last week. He did not come 10/8. He did not respond to additional calls and texts. We warned him several times that we would post on this site and others, but still no response. To be fair, we were satisfied with him prior to 9/26, even though the job wasn't done. We trusted him enough to pay him in full and finish the work while we were gone. If he had gotten bad boards from Home Depot we expected him to get them replaced. If he installed them incorrectly we expected him to have integrity and make things right. Apparently, he does not have integrity. Beware.
