I could never say enough good about this meadery! We actually met the owners at another establishment that we had stopped at and found out their meadery was just a few miles away from the Holiday Inn Club Vacations resort we were staying at. So the next day we had breakfast and made our way up there. It's in a strip mall style building, so don't pass it by. We were the only folks there at first, and that worked out in our favor! I think we tried somewhere around 20 samples by the time we were done. Joe & Melanie are fantastic hosts. And they sure have the mead making down! Their "imaginarium" bottles are awesome!! You will try some things you never thought would work and they just do! They will even do blends for you to taste. The blood orange mixed with their chocolate Noire is unbelievable. Be careful though, at 14% mead starts sneaking up on you quickly! If you love mead or don't even know what it is, you need to stop here. Is the widest variety of flavor profiles I have ever had at one meadery. You will find something you like!

This meadery is amazing! From their customers service, to the delicious meads they offer, and their adorable dog, Stella. We can't wait to return and I'll be praying they somehow are able to ship to California someday! Thank you for an amazing experience!

There are many meads to choose from. I and my two friends shared two flights with 8 different flavors. Joe the mead maker was so friendly and helpful guiding us to mix certain flavors to come up with whole different flavor profiles. It was a wonderful experience tasting each of the meads while talking with Joe and his wife "Queen Bee". There wasn't a lot of marketing for this place and we actually stumbled upon it as it was in the same shopping center as the Flipping Flea to which we first went. But it was a treat and a highlight in our day. It's a pretty small venue with only a few tables at which to sit which made for a nice intimate atmosphere but I imagine it could get busy. I recommend visiting.

Great mead and great people. Highly recommend if you are in the area. Hopefully they have the chocolate mead when you visit. It's bomb!

Discovered this indie coffee shop in Williamsburg near Busch Garden exit off Merrimac when I was…read moredown for a brief visit and OMG - BIGGGGG LOVE!!! So much to love about this new discovery besides the fact that it's NOT a Starbucks lol and for those that know me, you know I love and love to support and discover tucked away indie coffee places (see my reviews!). This place is also a roastery and sells their own bean blends. I don't know the history behind the shop and name but was told it is chemistry themed and owned by W&M alum - yassssss! Service is SUPER friendly and excellent so that's a bonus! I lovvvvvvve that the latte menu is chock full of super creative seasonal flavors - so many to choose from!! I stopped by twice while in town and staying just down the street. Had a hot Rose Macaron latte and the next day had the Lemon Bar. Both were DELICIOUS. NOT OVERLY SWEET BUT WITH SUBTLE FLAVORS AND BOLD ESPRESSO TASTE. NOTTTTTT WIMPY WEAK. Both days I had the OG Bacon Egg Cheese sando on an ET bagel that was a decent accompaniment to my seasonal lattes which were clearly the stars of the show. I was there during the week - once mid afternoon, the other day late morning and it was not crowded at all both days. The seating area is HUGE. 2 separate adjacent rooms - walk through the front ordering area and you'll find a large, super cozy and inviting "living room" type space with comfy couches, armchairs, dining tables with chairs and even cubes for studying. Dark and moody vibes. SUPER COZY, RELAXING AND KEPT VERY CLEAN AND TIDY. The other seating area has a bunch of tables and chairs, lots of windows, brighter and more conducive for gathering. I took and posted a bunch of pics and some vids so check them out. So glad to have discovered this coffee spot and gem! Will definitely be back when I visit Williamsburg again! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

GET THE BUTTERSCOTCH LATTE!!!!…read more This place is always busy. That's how you know it's good. It's so worth the wait to have a cup of coffee here. Their baristas know their stuff. It's cozy inside and outdoor seating available as well.

Let me say that…read moreWilliamsburg parking is often a nightmare, but there is a lot in the way of fair-priced parking lots nearby. Everything we had, I would get again. The "chilli eggs" were great. The lamb was so good we saved half just so we could have it later in the day. The lattes were solid, too. For a place where you have to wait in line to pay and have your food brought to you, it is not cheap. But the prices don't feel like you're being gouged either. Just don't expect to get out of there with two people and pay $30 dollars. It will not happen. Also, don't expect quiet. This place is loud. Small rooms with lots of chairs and nothing to cushion the noise. My perfect visit: 1. Have someone order the food and find seating. 2. You go to the dessert place a few doors down and get a medley of treats. 3. If you're two people, order three things and share a bit of each. 4. When you're almost done, order two coffees to go then sit back down. 5. Someone will bring you your coffees and you can walk out with drinks in hand and snack on chocolate covered items as you walk back to your car. 6. Complain that you should have gotten the large coffee and didn't ask for napkins so your fingers are a bit sticky. 7. Drive contentedly home and talk about what your favorite thing was. 8. No, no one is nice about merging back onto that highway, but that's not Hohl's fault.
