We're so happy we ignored the couple shady looking negative reviews on google to decide for…read moreourselves, because we had the BEST time! We took our boys (ages 6 & 8) and they were able to catch limits of rockfish with one parent per kid helping to hold the rods in addition to catching our own limits. We all had a great time and caught a ton of fish. The captain and deckhand were awesome and made sure we had all the help we needed. It was absolutely worth the drive from Idaho and we'll definitely be back for another trip!

For my husband's birthday I decided to give him a charter fishing trip. We woke up bright and early and signed in. My husband told me to take seasick pill even after I told him that I don't get seasick. I kind of think this was the cause because... Yep, you guessed it, after we were on the bumpy water and I had caught one whole fish, I started feeding the fish. My entire trip was me feeding fish. Oh, wait, except the one time I decided to feed try the reel again and slipped going head to head with the fish in the bins beneath me. I could have sworn one was screaming "Nooooooo!!!!" As I was trying to avoid him. The crew was so amazing! They had to try and balance taking care of me along with the many fishermen/women/kids. They even changed location of smoking because I told them it was making it worse for me (yes, they smoke on the boat). The crew caught my fish for me so when hubby and the rest were finished we had plenty of fish. I highly recommend taking this charter and plan on going again sooner than later...but without the seasick pills. Really, I think that was the cause. ;) ........ .. .... ....................

We left the dock around 7:30, cruised out about 20 minutes and had fish on as soon as we dropped our lines. We caught so many fish we started throwing back the small ones. On the way back in we opted to pull the crab pots...came home with 8 nice crab. We paid Jim $1 per fish to filet and package them for us. Bring an ice chest! We went back to our rental house and had an amazing fish fry and crab fest!

He said he was joking and my mom called him out on not having a joking tone nor did he ask this to any other person on the ship. When I heard this I was livid I talked to John/Sharky and he defended Josh Even though he agreed that it was wrong A simple honest apology would have gone a long way but Josh then said that he was not sorry nor did he do anything wrong and it was our fault for taking his joke wrong As we walked away Josh was smirking This company is ok with stereotyping and making people feel uncomfortable and unwelcomed John/sharky needs to educate those he employs so that this doesn't happen again Do I expect it no, this is the same man that has not even put a pLock on his bathroom door though in previous complaints he said he would. I found mention of Todd Hannah and The Oregon Angler on a site somewhere and I gave them a shot. Todd, was amazingly helpful at putting together the perfect trip for my wife and I. He was easy to get a hold of and walked us through everything as we weren't from the area. The trip was great. We were mid summer so the small mouth fishing on ultra light tackle was our best option. The action was non-stop and the weather was amazing. We were on the water for a shorter trip at about 5 hours. We had so much fun the time flew by. We saw beautiful scenery and wildlife. Defiantly a must do on any trip through this area.

The main issue was…read morethat there were a lot of unleashed dogs and people not paying attention to them so if you walk with your dog on a leash expect random dogs to come running up to you. That definitely less into the positive experience there but it was beautiful nonetheless. I would not go out of my way to come here unless I was fishing but if you're in the area and in the mood for a walk near the water this is a great place to stop
